Chapter 150 - 150

After repeatedly reminding Caesar not to forget, and while Caesar kept swearing oaths to remember, Caesar finally said goodbye and returned to the Fairy Tail guild.

But for some reason, Caesar still felt uneasy.

When he entered the guild, the first thing he saw was Mirajane surrounded by everyone. Edolas Mirajane was holding a strange-looking instrument and pointing it at Mirajane's stomach.

For some reason, Caesar's anxiety grew stronger.

"Caesar, you're back."

Mavis came over with a bright smile, patting Caesar on the back. "Congratulations," she said. "It looks like you're going to be a father."

For a moment, Caesar froze.

There was no joy, no fear, just blank confusion. His mind went completely still before he finally reacted.

"It's confirmed," said Edolas Mirajane, putting the instrument down. "There's definitely a faint life reaction..."

As soon as she said that, everyone grew excited.

This child had been discovered through their help!

"But..." Edolas Mirajane scratched her head.

Everyone tensed up instantly.

"This kind of energy fluctuation is strange. It's very slow, not very active. But the vitality itself isn't weak. Isn't that strange?"

Everyone looked at Mirajane's belly, completely puzzled.

"Move aside. Let me take a look."

Caesar stepped forward, taking a deep breath as he placed his hands gently over Mirajane's abdomen.

A soft wave of magic flowed from him, entering Mirajane's body. Soon, Caesar sensed something — a very small life form, yet radiating terrifying vitality.

This...

Caesar was stunned. He hadn't expected to become a father so soon.

Wait.

He shook off the chaotic thoughts swirling in his head. In most stories or shows, the main characters never had children until the very end. But from a realistic point of view, this situation made perfect sense.

Still, this little one's power was abnormal.

The growth was slow, but the life force was immense. It felt as if the baby could be born any second.

"Let me look again," Caesar muttered, frowning. His focus made everyone hold their breath.

After another careful inspection, Caesar finally found something.

He sensed a faint aura inside the child's body. It was almost impossible to notice, but for Caesar, it was unmistakable.

"Divinity..."

His eyes widened. Suddenly, everything clicked.

He understood that the cause of all this must have been that night!

No wonder he had been feeling uneasy earlier.

Given Mirajane's current state, Caesar realized he had to return to the Alvarez Empire to ask Dimaria what exactly she had done.

"What's wrong?" Mirajane asked softly, placing her hand on his head.

"Nothing. Very healthy." Caesar smiled faintly and removed his hands. "I'm going to be a father."

"Oh!!!"

The guild erupted into cheers.

"Caesar and Mirajane's child!"

"A tyrant and a demon—just imagine how powerful that kid will be!"

"Probably stronger than both of them!"

"Why does that sound kind of scary?"

"But no matter what, this is Fairy Tail's child!"

"What should we name them?"

"Oh, right. Caesar dropped his old name, so now he's just Caesar."

"Master, do you have any ideas?"

"Me? I was the one who named you before, Makarov," Master said with a grin.

"I'll pick the name myself," Caesar said with a sigh. "But can someone please tell me how you even found out Mira was pregnant?"

Everyone started talking excitedly again, explaining the situation.

In the Alvarez Empire.

Dimaria walked out of the hospital, gently touching her stomach with a calm smile.

"Hey, Dimaria, how was the check-up?" Brandish asked with an uneasy look.

"Very good. Very healthy," Dimaria said cheerfully. "And the child has inherited divinity. When he grows up, he'll be the strongest warrior."

"That's not what I meant!" Brandish snapped. "Why did you drag me into this too?! Why am I part of this mess?!"

"Maybe it's a miracle," Dimaria replied calmly. "Gods and mortals can't normally be together. The fact that you can carry a divine child means you were blessed. But your child doesn't have divinity — she's an ordinary one. Just give birth to her. You might come to love her."

"I don't like this at all!" Brandish yelled. "I've never even been in a relationship, and now I'm just skipping straight to having a baby? No one would believe this!"

She glared furiously. "And why doesn't my magic work on her?!"

She had tried shrinking the fetus to dust to find a way to remove it — but her magic had no effect.

"Not working?" Dimaria blinked, stepping forward and placing her hand on Brandish's stomach. After a few silent moments, her eyes widened in disbelief. "How is this possible? Your child has divinity too? But I'm supposed to be the descendant of a god!"

"Who cares?! I just want to get rid of it!" Brandish shouted, frustrated.

"Stop dreaming," Dimaria said softly. "A child with divinity is protected by God. Before they're grown, no magic can bypass that protection or harm them."

Brandish froze. Was she really destined to become a mother?

"Of course," Dimaria added, "if you don't want to raise the child, I can do it for you. I'll train them to become the strongest warriors."

"Fine, take it! Take it right now!" Brandish shouted.

"Don't worry. The baby won't be born for three and a half years. I'll take care of it then."

"Wait! Three and a half years?! I'll die before that!"

"You won't," Dimaria said calmly. "As a mother of a divine child, you're protected too. No normal magic can harm you. So relax — and enjoy these next three and a half years."

Brandish could only stare blankly, completely speechless.
