An orphan, he was recruited and trained by local militias resisting American occupation overseas.
At that time, his Quirk hadn't gone by the name of Gravity Crusher, but Weight Accumulator.
Using the Weight Accumulator, Alex could accumulate up to 10000% of his own weight within himself. This was no ordinary accumulation of weight as well. Not only did his Agility and Strength increase in equal proportions, but he could also keep the weight accumulated with no time limit.

However, Alex was gifted with a humongous, natural physique, now weighing at 180 Kg.
With the 3rd multiplier, he could increase the gravity in 1000 meters around him by 180 Kg — a weight large enough to disrupt even the tiniest spatial distortions.
Normally, Alex kept himself at 1000% accumulated weight, without releasing the gravity effect of his Quirk.
In this way, in the worst-case scenarios, he could instantly either fall to 100% and cover 1000 meters of space around him… or jump to 10000%!
But that was not practical, as any structure he stood on would come falling, then.
Not to mention, the more the weight accumulated, the faster he aged.

The Near High End Nomu's body could be seen under a layer of dirt as well… without half of its head.

The painful grunt made Alex look over his shoulder.
The Radiant of Dreams, wearing a black costume with a black scarf around his neck, was passed out cold. His costume kept blurring as if it was made of mist… as if it wasn't real… as if it was on the verge of vanishing at any moment.
But it wasn't him who had let out the noise, as he had already passed-out cold.
It was the golden-haired boy, wearing the same misty, but different costume — The Radiant of Explosions!
Alex couldn't see his face as it was blurry as well.
But he could see the red eyes, glaring right back at him with a blue glow.
"Oh…" Alex let out an amused grunt as if very pleased. "… What an interesting lad She has pulled this time… You are still awake! Well. Good for you, then, kid. Wanna step out and show me what you got?"
Katsuki Bakugo couldn't think for a moment.
But Alex's question snapped something within him — like the old man had just challenged him — like the old man was looking down on him!
"Haha…" Bakugo stood up, his knees shaking.
He cracked his neck, feeling the overwhelming weight upon him… feeling the overwhelming power within him.
Then, with a twitch on his face, Bakugo stepped forward, his foot creating a deep impression on the ground.
"Show you… what I've got?!" Bakugo asked, sparks exploding around him. "Let's see if you can keep up… old man!!"
