Erasure Head brought the students in and took them straight to the first floor.
They entered a huge hall, filled with numerous sofas, a large TV, and other recreational items, which immediately revealed its nature.
"Each Class is assigned one Dorm building," Erasure Head explained. "Girls on the right and boys on the left… with CCTV cameras on all corridors."
He had not wanted to do this before.
But, hearing how excited the students had gotten with a mere hint of a faux romantic setup, he found no choice but to emphasize the cameras.
"The first floor is the common area," Aizawa continued, as the students' heads snapped left and right, their eyes glowing with excitement. "Breakfast and Dinner will be served here. Baths and laundry are also available on this floor. You can explore it more later."
"Hey, look!" Mina suddenly shouted. "There's a courtyard!"
They all hurried to one side of the Common Room, which had large window panes.
The dorm had a cubic shape, with its center exposed to the environment. In the middle, it had a huge courtyard with many trees, plants, a garden, and several benches for relaxing, soaking up the sun, etc.
Uraraka hopped from one side of the Common Room to another, barely grasping the size of it.
Most of the boys were like her and Mina, too, finding the dorm much, much larger than they had expected it to be.
"Rooms start from the second floor," Erasure Head said, hitting Mineta after the boy said something inappropriate about the bathrooms. "There are four rooms per gender on each floor, with five floors in total. Needless to say, everyone gets their own room. UA has designed the rooms to fulfill all basic needs of students like you. ACs, attached Toilets, Fridges, Closets, etc., etc… You get the gist."
Guiding the students, Aizawa took them to the second floor and opened a room.
Many eyes already widened as this was much bigger than the rooms in their homes.
"Whoa!" Deku gasped. "There's a balcony, too!"
Erasure Head lined up all the students in the corridor on the second floor and took out a document.
"Alright, here's your room arrangement," he said, reading from the paper. "On the second floor — Mineta, Midoriya, Aoyama, and Tokoyami."
When Aizawa didn't mention more names for this floor, a gasp filled the entire corridor.
Holding his head, Mineta slid down to his knees and remained there as if he was looking at the Kamino Incident playing on screen all over again.
Ignoring him, Aizawa continued, "Third Floor — Kaminari, Ida, Ojiro from the boys, and Jiro and Hagakure from the girls. On the fourth floor, we have — Shoji, Kirishima, Bakugo, Uraraka, and Ashido. Luke, Sato, Todoroki, Sero, Yaoyorozu, and Asui are on the fifth floor."
"Ooooooooooo…" Mina made a noise, bumping shoulders with Momo, making everyone giggle or chuckle wryly.
Aizawa put away the document.
"Alright, that's it from me," he said. "I will explain what happens from tomorrow onwards… Well, tomorrow. Oh, right. Before I dismiss you all, I have a warning for you…"
The mood changed instantaneously.
Aizawa nodded within as he saw that.
It meant, despite the playful, normal child-like activities and teasing, the group had at least learned to drop everything to focus their full attention at a moment's notice, if necessary.
"Not many students are happy with the Heights Alliance, the name we have given to the dorm system at UA," Erasure Head told them. "We faced resistance from the General Education and Business Course students and their families. There is an ill perception among them that it's Class 1-A and 1-B who can't help but get in trouble with Villains, which has led to UA forcing the dorm system upon them as well."
"But that's ridiculous!" Kirishima hissed. "Villains won't ask which course a student belongs to before attacking him!"
All students nodded at that.
"Regardless of the valid reasons," Aizawa said, sounding pleased with Kirishima's logic, "you all have to be mindful not to let it become an issue. You will be living together. So try to get along, no matter what you hear."
Aizawa glared particularly at Bakugo, who tsked looking away.
"Sir!"
"Yes?" Aizawa looked at Luke.
"Can you ban the fresh admissions from coming to this dorm and ask for my interview?" Luke said, carrying a silly, sleepy grin on his face. "Sadly, I have become too popular for my own good…"
Bakugo, Todoroki, and Mina were about to call Luke shameless when he pointed his thumb toward the balcony of the open room next to them.
"No way…" Toru hissed, rushing in with the others.
In front of the dorm building, a sizable crowd had gathered, children looking left and right as if waiting for someone.
"See…" Luke said, throwing his arm around Todoroki. "Getting debarred from the Provisional Hero License Exam doesn't sound so bad now, does it? Want me to introduce you to someone? I thought I saw a girl with yellow and green hair…"
As laughter bounced between the students, Todoroki slamming Luke's arm away, Erasure Head shook his head.
This could really become a problem.
What Luke had done wasn't some glorified act… Well, it kind of was, but UA wouldn't want the new admissions to follow in his footsteps. Especially the new Hero Course students, who were already a notch louder and wilder than the ones under him when they had joined UA.
Making the matter an indispensable priority, Aizawa nodded to himself.
"I will take care of them," Erasure Head said, bringing the students back to the corridor. "The stuff you guys sent ahead has already been placed in your rooms. Settle in and get ready for tomorrow. Dismissed."
"Yes, Sir!"
Along with everyone, Luke went to his room on the fifth floor and sat down on the bed.
[What are you planning on doing now?] Miss Justice asked. [Would you like to work on Faceless' Acting Method. You have already digested a great chunk of it because…]
Before she could even finish her words, though, Luke… just fell.
By the time he hit the cushioned bed, he was already out cold, snoring loudly.
[Sigh…] Miss Justice sighed, reminiscing. [You reminded me of Miss Magician when she was writing stories for Mr. World… Good times.]
