The dark red glow in Bishop Miller's eyes flickered with a moment of chaotic madness, and his skin simultaneously became smooth and mottled, like the epidermis of some marine creature.

A low, chirping gasp escaped his mouth, and slimy, disgusting tentacles emerged from beneath his deep blue robe.

It seemed that Bishop Miller's original mental state wasn't very good, and he might even have been affected by pollution. Under the Psychiatrist's 'frenzy,' he immediately lost control!

The next moment, thick thorns rapidly burst through the ground, intertwining with the slimy tentacles on Bishop Miller's body.

A layer of ink-like darkness spread across its slimy, disgusting tentacles.

The barbs on the thorns pierced into the tentacles, continuously releasing nerve-paralyzing toxins.

Seeing this, Klein narrowed his eyes slightly; Bugs Bunny's combat experience was richer than he expected. In fact, it was quite skilled in battle.

Muttering to himself, he immediately switched the soul controlled by Creeping Hunger.

The glove on his left hand was stained with a golden hue, his expression became solemn, and his gaze locked onto Bishop Miller, who was constantly entangled with the thorns in front and around him.

His pupils instantly lit up, flashing with lightning-like brilliance.

The next moment, Bishop Miller shrieked; some of the tentacles, pulling against the thorns, directly tore the thick thorns apart, while others were torn off by the thorns, spilling black-green viscous liquid that sizzled upon hitting the ground.

His mind was pierced, and an indescribable, extreme pain erupted in his brain, causing the already formed wind blades around him to instantly dissipate into nothingness.

Puff! Puff! Puff!

The surrounding ground was broken through again; this time, what appeared were not thorns, but carnivorous plants with gaping crimson mouths and blood-colored fangs.

Like hungry beasts, they bit into Bishop Miller's head, torso, and the slimy tentacles at his feet.

Klein seized the opportunity, took two steps forward, leaned slightly back, and spread his arms, adopting a pose as if embracing the sun.

Suddenly, the surroundings brightened, the air seemed to instantly warm up, and the raging wind abruptly ceased.

Immediately, a magnificent, pure, blazing pillar of light descended from the sky, enveloping Bishop Miller.

The carnivorous plants summoned by Bugs Bunny through the wooden staff showed signs of wilting, but they still held Bishop Miller tightly, though they felt somewhat powerless.

Bishop Miller's body, tightly bitten by the carnivorous plants, began to evaporate—first the skin, then the tentacles, and finally the flesh and blood.

By the time the brilliant light pillar summoned by Klein disappeared, all that remained was some withered, yellowed vines and thorns, and a puddle of monster composed of white bones and flesh, its aura extremely weak!

"He's not dead yet. The life force of a Beyonder out of control is truly tenacious. If it were me, I'd already be a roasted rabbit!"

Bugs Bunny, standing to the side, pouted and mumbled softly.

Klein subtly nodded, maintaining Gehrman Sparrow's cold, harsh tone:

"Go help them."

After instructing Bugs Bunny, Klein stepped forward a few paces, stopping beside Bishop Miller's remains. He crouched slightly, leaning forward, and pressed his left hand, which wore Creeping Hunger, onto the puddle of flesh.

In the palm of his left hand, a fissure silently opened, from which grew two rows of illusory, bone-white teeth, frantically devouring Bishop Miller's remaining flesh and spirituality.

Seeing this scene, Bugs Bunny shivered. It suddenly felt that Klein, in the guise of Gehrman Sparrow, was somewhat terrifying.

It quickly grabbed its wooden staff and ran towards Danitz, where two of the headless bodies had already fallen, completely charred.

Bugs Bunny kicked off forcefully, leaving a shallow mark on the ground, its entire body transforming into a gray streak of light, swiftly pouncing on a headless body that was close to Donna and Denton.

Under the horrified gazes of Kleeves and the others, it kicked its legs fiercely into the headless body's chest, sending it flying several meters away and toppling it to the ground.

It then extended a claw and pulled out a handful of plant seeds from the black cloth bag slung over its shoulder, scattering them casually.

These seeds began to grow wildly as soon as they hit the ground, forming strange, thick vines, as if mutated from many different types of plants.

These vines quickly entangled the headless body it had kicked away.

Then, using similar maneuvers, it either pulled or kicked the other three headless bodies, throwing them together.

The vines on the ground quickly distorted and writhed, entangling them into a ball.

Danitz watched Bugs Bunny's smooth operation with wide eyes. "Is this fat rabbit really that powerful? I feel like I can't even beat a rabbit anymore!"

Cough! He cleared his throat and stood up straight.

He slightly raised his right hand, and crimson fire rapidly condensed in his palm, quickly forming a long spear wreathed in blazing white flames.

Then, his eyes narrowed slightly, his gaze locked onto the headless bodies bound together by the vines, and he suddenly hurled the blazing white spear in his hand.

Boom!

The sound of flames surging and exploding rang out.

He conjured and hurled one flaming spear after another, each one steadily embedding itself into the headless bodies, causing them to burst open and ignite in a series of fiery explosions.

Then he raised both hands, pushing them forward to conjure crimson fire crows in front of him.

Danitz manipulated these fire crows to crash into the headless bodies from different angles, preventing them from escaping the fiery embrace.

Klein, having finished feeding Creeping Hunger, walked back. He glanced at Danitz, whose forehead was beaded with fine sweat, then withdrew his gaze and stepped forward with ease.

His right hand subtly reached into the inner side of his jacket, touching the sun brooch, and infused it with spirituality.

In the crimson in front, golden illusory flames ignited out of thin air, emitting the immense and pervasive aura of the sun, densely forming a continuous expanse.

The headless corpses melted rapidly beneath the golden flames, which exuded a pure and sacred solar aura, like hot oil encountering fire.

They lay on the ground, screaming and twitching, quickly being scorched into a pool of dry, solidified blood.

Phew~ It's resolved. Gehrman Sparrow is truly strong. Even when facing the Captain, he has the ability to contend... Danitz gazed at Klein, silently sighing in his heart.

Then, he saw Gehrman Sparrow give him a cold glance.

Danitz's expression froze, and he stiffly turned his neck, feigning nonchalance.

Deep within the Spirit World, in front of a magnificent and vast complex of buildings.

Leyton stood quietly here, carefully observing the buildings. This was his first time truly visiting the Library.

Its architectural style didn't quite resemble a Library; it was more like an ancient palace built within the Spirit World, or more accurately, a complex of palaces.

Because it looked as if it were cleverly pieced together from many tall buildings of different styles.

"This place seems different from how it was at first; it's grander now and has more living characteristics…" Muttering to himself, Leyton stepped towards the Library's main entrance.

The first thing that caught his eye was a Plague Doctor wearing a bird-beak mask, holding a staff, and draped in a pitch-black robe.

The bird-beak mask on its head flickered with a eerie green glow, adding a touch of strangeness and vitality to it.

Behind it were sacred unicorns, flame-wreathed fire demons, and beautiful, icy Yuki-onna...

"Are these placed at the entrance to add a terrifying atmosphere to the Library?" The thought flashed through his mind, and Leyton had already passed through the entrance area with the statues.

As soon as he entered the Library, he saw a thin old man wearing a lemon-yellow robe and a long white beard.

The other party was intently reading a book that, from its cover, appeared to be a newly compiled work. Its title was directly "Discourse on Prophecy," very much in the style of the modern Church of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom.

"Good evening, Mr. Venithan."

Leyton, familiar with him, stepped forward and greeted the other party.

Yellow Light Venithan then shifted his gaze from the book to Leyton, nodded with a smile, and said:

"Those statues placed at the entrance are precisely for the Spirit World creatures coming and going to see. We can both gather feedback from them and have them help spread that information and those stories."

Leyton was momentarily stunned, not expecting the other party to answer the thought that had just flashed through his mind upon entering. It felt like a Hall of Truth.

He chuckled and nodded slightly, quickly reining in all the scattered thoughts in his mind.

This was not too difficult for him; it was just that normally, he preferred to maintain that state of freely diverging thoughts and wild imaginings. Too rational a state always made him feel that his humanity was insufficient.

"You seem to have questions you wish me to answer."

Venithan mentioned with a benevolent smile.

Leyton nodded gently. He indeed had some questions. Yellow Light was a symbol of the astrology domain, and He was a very suitable person to ask.

Leyton pondered for a moment, then carefully began:

"When I advanced to Prophet, I glimpsed some fate. I saw some of my future, and all the fate tributaries ultimately flowed in the same direction, merging into a larger fate that I could not see clearly."

"My intuition tells me this is not how things should normally be."
