Chapter 461: Nawaki: Uncle Madara, This Is How You Use the Sharingan!
The emerald green Susanoo radiated a vigorous aura of life.
Standing behind it, Uchiha Madara looked dazed.
He couldn't believe that Nawaki was this strong—and was using the Senju clan's bloodline to master Susanoo with such ease, likely on par with himself.
Of course, Madara wouldn't admit that.
In reality, Nawaki's Susanoo was even stronger thanks to his equipment and skill boosts—surpassing this so-called Uchiha ancestor.
This world had gone completely insane.
"Hellfire!"
Buggy was being relentlessly chased by the twin wooden whips of Nawaki's Susanoo. As he turned his head, he fired a hellfire round from his gun.
An intense blast of infernal energy burst outward.
The ground blackened, embers scattered, and hellfire roared as it consumed everything in its path.
"Watch out!"
Madara's eyelid twitched hard.
That hellfire attack—though he hated to admit it—contained a terrifying demonic presence. It was stronger than his own full-power Fire Release.
Nearby, the rest of the Buggy Pirates also joined the fray.
Former vice-captain Mohji cracked his beast whip, unleashing thunderous cracks through the air.
The atmosphere distorted.
Dozens upon dozens of summoned beasts materialized—armored crabs, bladed mantises—all glinting with ominous power.
They were creatures Mohji had either purchased, captured, or fused from materials. The sheer quantity of them summoned at once was overwhelming.
Buggy cackled wildly. "Heh! You Leaf brats, my beastmaster is mad now. Time to die!"
Normally,
Just seeing that many summons would be enough to make most players hesitate.
Madara looked at the horde, and his heart sank.
Each of those creatures, taken individually, would be a powerful summoning beast. The kind small hidden villages would regard as a national treasure.
Worse still,
They had higher life tiers than him, meaning his ninjutsu would do reduced damage. The actual fight difficulty was nearing tailed beast levels.
One monster? Madara wouldn't even blink.
Two or three? He'd smirk.
But hundreds? That was a problem.
Mohji squinted smugly. "Outnumbering you may seem unfair, but you're Senju Nawaki, the famous rising star of the Leaf. Seems fair to me."
Nawaki was unshaken. His chakra burned even brighter.
His chakra was Tier 2, immune to damage scaling. In full form, his Susanoo could cleave through these monsters like chopping vegetables.
"Wood Style: Clone Jutsu!"
The giant green warrior raised both arms and formed hand seals.
The next second—
Several Susanoo clones emerged from behind him, landing around the battlefield and surrounding the Buggy Pirates.
"I won't say you're despicable. Outnumbering the enemy is just fine. And don't call me despicable either—you guys are the infamous Buggy Pirates!"
...So arrogant—this Nawaki brat!
Madara heard him and felt a strange itch in his heart. If he were in Nawaki's place, he might've said the same thing.
Was this... kindred spirit?
He could almost see his younger self in Nawaki.
Off the battlefield, he had Hashirama's silly grin and wit.
But in battle? All Madara—confident, domineering.
No doubt,
Nawaki had inherited incredible talent. With the support of the Mobile Division and the Senju bloodline, he'd already caught up to veteran players like the Buggy Pirates not long after his resurrection.
In moments,
Mohji's army of summons was torn to pieces by a dozen Susanoo clones.
"You'll regret this—I'll be back!" Buggy shouted and fled with his crew in tow.
Nawaki dispelled Susanoo and collapsed to the ground, completely spent.
"What a prodigy..."
Madara's gaze flickered as he stared at Nawaki—like he was looking at a priceless treasure.
Back then, he'd defied his entire clan, abandoned the Uchiha, left the Leaf, and fought Hashirama...
Why?
Because he foresaw it.
That once Tobirama became Hokage, the Uchiha would inevitably be oppressed. And the fools who basked in the illusion of peace welcomed it with open arms.
But if—
If the Uchiha had someone like Nawaki back then, would Madara have turned against his own?
No.
Because with absolute strength, no politics or schemes could threaten them.
There would be no fear of the Uchiha's decline—
Because Uchiha Nawaki would lead them to new heights, unstoppable by anyone.
That's right. Uchiha Nawaki.
Madara's eyes gleamed.
He wasn't like his father, Tajima Uchiha, a crusty old traditionalist. Otherwise, he wouldn't have partnered with Obito to launch the clan massacre plan without hesitation.
To him, an Uchiha who abandoned strength had already abandoned the clan's pride.
And this Uchiha Nawaki—who wielded the Sharingan to such mastery—clearly had a powerful sense of Uchiha pride.
"Uncle Madara, don't be jealous." Nawaki clapped him on the shoulder with a big grin. "Once you hunt more corrupted monsters and level up, you can wear gear like mine and be just as strong!"
Madara frowned. "Don't smile."
"Huh?"
"As a ninja, you must instill fear. Your enemies should tremble at the sight of you and lose the will to fight."
Madara almost shook off the hand on his shoulder, but paused—
Would that seem too cold?
Instead, he quietly took a step back to avoid whatever dumb thing Nawaki might do next.
"First lesson—stop smiling. If all you do is laugh like an idiot, no matter how strong you are, people will think you're easy to push around!"
Madara's tone was grim, like a disappointed teacher.
Hashirama was the same.
He had power to crush the entire ninja world—but instead chose to negotiate, hand out tailed beasts, and "build peace."
Madara hadn't minded handing out the tailed beasts—
But it wasn't supposed to be neat, sealed, and peaceful.
It was supposed to be like:
Send Mist Village two rampaging beasts.
Send Cloud Village three berserk beasts.
Let their Tailed Beast Bombs flatten each other.
Meanwhile, Madara—with his Eternal Mangekyō and full Susanoo—would control his beast from afar.
In half a month, the whole ninja world would bow to the Leaf.
Of course, when he proposed that plan, Hashirama had shut it down instantly—and Madara didn't talk to him for two whole days afterward.
"Is that so?" Nawaki scratched his head, unsure.
Smile or not... that affects ninja combat?
But judging by Madara's dead-serious expression—and his full-power Susanoo—it seemed like he really was some top-tier shinobi.
