Chapter 188 - Breaking the First Seal

"The guy trapped below isn't that strong. Look how nervous you're getting," Karnel observed Zangya behind him, a hint of scorn flashing in his eyes.

A pale red energy ball about the size of a basketball formed lightly in Karnel's hand as he slowly leaped into the sky, rising higher and higher until he broke through the clouds above the seal's center on the ground.

"Come out, you dog!"

The seal that had been maintained for tens of thousands of years finally reached the end of its existence. A massive hole was blown through its center, shattering the barrier completely. The remaining black patterns on the periphery suddenly came alive, contracting rapidly to a single point before disappearing entirely.

An overwhelming aura erupted from deep beneath the surface. With the seal broken, Bido's strength returned to normal as quickly as possible, accompanied by a thunderous roar from below.

After the thick smoke cleared, a figure gradually materialized before them.

"Finally free! Soon all four of us will be reunited again!" Zangya exclaimed, jumping down in excitement.

You're so happy about it... well, he'll be dead soon enough anyway, Karnel thought with mild exasperation.

After being sealed for countless years, Bido looked up joyfully at Zangya flying toward him.

"Zangya! Did you rescue me? Where are Bujin and our leader Bojack? Why don't I see them?"

As soon as Zangya reached Bido, he urgently questioned her, wanting to understand the situation.

A wave of bitterness suddenly crossed Zangya's previously happy expression as she lowered her voice. "While I contributed to your rescue, that's not the important part. I'm currently being controlled by a demo, I can't help myself. You were actually released by him."

"Oh? What kind of person is so generous? To repay his kindness, let me give him a proper send-off!" Bido's expression turned surly and tyrannical as he shouted coldly. "After staying trapped in that dark underground prison for so many years, now that I'm finally free, I should kill someone to celebrate!"

"You're not his equal as an opponent," Zangya's tone was heavy as she looked up at the figure in the sky as if facing a mortal enemy. "We need to work together to find an opportunity to defeat him. After we bring him down, then we can rescue our leader and Bujin."

"Zangya, after being sealed by those old fools for so many years, has your fighting spirit been completely crushed?" Bido smiled disdainfully, looking at Zangya with contempt. He truly hadn't expected Zangya to become so cowardly over these tens of thousands of years. "The aura of that person above is as weak as a chicken's. I could crush him to death with one hand."

Bido snorted coldly in disgust. "Wait here. I'll go up and kill this low-level cosmic insect, then rescue our leader."

"Wait... Bido, you idiot!"

After Bido flew into the sky, Zangya felt discouraged, then gritted her teeth and followed him up.

Two silhouettes streaked across the sky and appeared at the mountain's peak, standing at a distance of several thousand meters from Karnel.

This guy named Bido looks really annoying. Ah, Zangya still wants to team up with him to defeat me? Nice idea... what a shame.

Karnel's eyes gleamed as he observed Zangya glaring at him from the distance alongside the arrogant Bido.

"Zangya, you don't actually think you can beat me with this piece of trash, do you?" Karnel casually brushed aside some nearby clouds with one hand as he spoke lightly.

Bido glanced coldly at Zangya, then shouted at Karnel with a bloodthirsty expression: "You freed me, so I should thank you properly! Let me show my gratitude by tearing your body apart bone by bone!"

A shrill whistling sound rang out as Bido leaped forward with a gust of wind wrapped around him. In the blink of an eye, he had crossed the distance of over a thousand meters.

THUMP!

Karnel extended a single finger against the very center of Bido's powerful punch.

"You're quite energetic!" Karnel leaned close to Bido's ear and whispered.

"So strong..." Bido couldn't believe his powerful punch had been blocked so easily.

He continuously applied more force to his fist, but it was useless. No matter how much strength he added, he couldn't budge the person in front of him by even half a step. The finger pressed against his fist seemed as immovable as hardened steel.

Karnel laughed. "Did you skip breakfast? Here, let me help!"

Aura surging, Karnel punched Bido square in the chest, sending him flying.

Bido was launched by the tremendous force, his body tumbling hundreds of meters through the sky before he could stop himself.

"There are actually people in this world stronger than us Galaxy Warriors..." After finally stabilizing his position, Bido touched his chest, which was flushed red from the punch and still tingling with residual pain.

"One punch knocked Bido back, and he didn't even leave a mark on him..." Zangya, who had been standing in the sky without joining Bido's attack, muttered to herself.

Bido no longer dared underestimate this mysterious man from whom he couldn't sense any energy at all. He retreated to Zangya's side and spoke in a cautious tone: "This man is incredibly powerful. Our only chance is to attack together and defeat him. That's the best way to ensure he's buried here!"

Zangya nodded, her body slightly bent with fists clenched in an attacking posture.

"Zangya, are you really not afraid of death?" Karnel's calm demeanor made it impossible to guess his thoughts.

"Die?!" Hearing this, Zangya's body trembled violently as she hesitated.

She was naturally afraid of death. Having already died once, she was even more terrified of it. The sensation of falling into that dark abyss after death was unbearable, she never wanted to experience it a second time.

"Zangya! You're not going to be intimidated by a single word, are you?" Bido saw that Zangya seemed genuinely frightened, and a flash of murderous intent appeared in his eyes as he shouted angrily. "Although this person is strong and mysterious, I don't think he has the ability to kill you while defending against both our combined attacks!"

Zangya, you're already obsolete. Trash has no value in existing. After killing this damn man, the next one to die is... you!
