Radiant golden fire consumed Miles's body. The divine flames of the Immortal Phoenix, the will of a God carried in mortal flesh.
Kaiba roared: "Continue your attack, Obelisk the Tormentor! Even if a phoenix blocks your path, this 4000‑point direct attack is one YOU will bear!"
Divine Fist – Shatterwave detonated across the desert, kicking up a golden tsunami of sand that rolled for kilometers.
This was truly the strongest offensive force of the Three Egyptian Gods.
"Then I'll take it head‑on!"
Bathed in fire, Miles raised his arm toward the heavens.
"If Obelisk is the strongest sword of the Gods—then Ra, reborn in its Immortal Phoenix form, is the strongest shield among the Gods!"
With a deafening avian cry, the burning phoenix crashed directly into Obelisk's Soul Energy MAX fist.
"This is the effect of The Winged Dragon of Ra—Immortal Phoenix!"
[This turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle, is unaffected by other card effects, and its controller takes no damage.]
The strongest shield of the Three Gods.
During the turn it is revived, Immortal Phoenix gains full immunity and negates all damage to its controller.
Even with only 1 Life Point remaining, Miles stood firm—protected by the unbreakable divine flame.

God clashed against God—tearing apart sky and earth. The battlefield resembled the end of the world.

Therefore, Kaiba's only possible target… was Dragon Master Knight.
At the End Phase, Immortal Phoenix would return to Miles's Graveyard.
If Dragon Master Knight fell, Miles would have no monsters remaining—while Kaiba kept both Obelisk and Ultimate Dragon.
"I won't let you destroy it, Kaiba!" Miles called out. "A monster revived by Beacon of White loses its effect!"
Blue‑Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon could no longer use its destruction effect.
Kaiba would need raw Attack Points alone.
Miles continued:
"Dragon Master Knight gains 500 ATK for each Dragon monster on the field besides itself!"
Drawing strength from the revived Ultimate Dragon, Chaos's holy blade shattered past its own limits.

Kaiba slammed his final card into the ground. AR light engulfed Obelisk wholly.

The moment Kaiba declared his attack, a card that had been resting in Miles's Graveyard since the very start finally awakened.
"I activate the effect of Kuribohrn in my Graveyard!"
Sent to the GY earlier by Joker's Straight, the tiny sphere of life glowed with holy revival.

Following the trail of radiant revival light, three Kuriboh returned to the field—Winged Kuriboh, Magikuriboh, and Ankuriboh.
"More Kuribohs!?" Kaiba snarled, veins twitching.
As Kaiba's eternal nemeses, the sudden appearance of three more furballs made his fury spike.
"Miles! Even if you flood the field with Kuribohs, Beacon of White's ultimate triple‑strike will still blow everything apart!"
"We'll see about that, Kaiba!" Miles said, unable to stop himself from quoting the Pharaoh.
After all, this next card… was almost certainly one Atem himself carried.
"Trap Card—Kuriboh Defensive Wall¹, activate!"
A shimmering bridge of rainbow light formed by the three Kuribohs spread across the battlefield—a surreal contrast against the apocalyptic God‑war raging around them.
[If you control a "Kuriboh" monster: Each Kuriboh you control can negate 1 destruction this turn.]
"Charge, Kuribohs!"
At Miles's command, the three Kuriboh surged forward, cloaked in rainbow radiance.
One by one, they collided with each of Alternative Ultimate's three heads—negating each of its three attacks.
Three Kuriboh.
Three negations.
The result—Dragon Master Knight survived. Every monster on Miles's field lived.
"KURIBOH AGAIN!?" Kaiba's scream cracked like thunder, teeth grinding hard enough to shatter.
The rainbow light that shielded Dragon Master Knight stood in poetic contrast to Beacon of White's fury—momentarily halting even a God‑level clash.
"Ah! It's gone!" Chi suddenly shouted from the sidelines.
"That giant robot buried in the sand, it disappeared!"
Miles shook his head. "Not disappeared. Awakened. The ultimate God‑slaying weapon… finally stirred in response to the clash of the Gods!"
His theory had been correct. The damaged Divine Arsenal AA‑ZEUS reacted instinctively to every God Card, engraved into its very design.
To fully awaken it, this extreme Divine battle was necessary.
During Obelisk's Soul Energy MAX… during Ra's phoenix rebirth… its dormant systems flickered—preparing.
"Now it's my turn, Kaiba!"
The Pharaoh's classic technique: forcing the opponent's turn to its end.
With no further cards to activate, Kaiba could only watch helplessly as his Battle Phase failed.
"But!" Kaiba snapped, "At the End Phase, Immortal Phoenix returns to your Graveyard!"
With Ra's flame extinguished, Miles's field held: three Kuribohs and Dragon Master Knight.
Kaiba's field held: Obelisk the Tormentor and Blue‑Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon.

Miles gripped the single card he needed most.
He had protected Dragon Master Knight with everything he had—because that monster was the key to awakening the ultimate blade hidden in the Pharaoh's Deck.

This crucial card wasn't part of the Pharaoh's Deck originally; it belonged to Aisha.
However, combined with the Pharaoh's monster, it would create a miracle beyond the Deck itself.
