Latest Chapter of Clark in the Marvel Universe!
"Good to see you again, Thor. But… why were you guys fighting?"Clark greeted Thor after both he and Tony had gotten back on their feet. He was genuinely curious—Loki was still on the plane, after all, so what sparked this battle?
"Clark, could you maybe not make such a dramatic entrance next time?"Tony glanced at his armor, which was now full of warning alerts and scratches, and couldn't help complaining.
"I saw you all fighting earlier, didn't I? I was in a hurry, so I didn't bother slowing down—haha."Clark scratched his head awkwardly as he looked at Tony's battered suit. Not that it really mattered—Tony was rich, and repairing this suit would be nothing for him.
"Oh please—if you really weren't aiming for us, then how come only me and the hammer guy got slammed, while Diana was completely fine?"Tony clearly saw right through Clark's intentions.
"Clark, are they your friends?"Thor looked between Clark and Iron Man and quickly realized that they must know each other well.
"Yeah, they're my friends on Earth. Thor, are you here for Loki? I heard from Coulson you've been in Asgard lately."
"Yes. Heimdall said he saw Loki on Earth, so I came to bring him back to Asgard. Clark, you must understand—no matter what crimes Loki committed, he should face judgment under Asgardian law."
Thor sincerely hoped Clark would understand and let him take Loki. He promised his brother would be punished accordingly.
But Clark shook his head.
"That might not be possible—or at least, not yet. Honestly, I wouldn't mind handing Loki over to you, but first, we need answers. I believe Loki didn't come to Earth alone—he's working with someone."
"First he talked about conquering Earth, then he stole the Tesseract… I think there's a bigger plan at play here. Unless you've got the Tesseract in hand, Loki can't give it back. Which means he might have hidden it… or given it to someone else."
After speaking, Clark looked at Thor in silence.
He couldn't quite recall how Tony and Steve had convinced Thor in the original movie, but one thing was clear—if Thor insisted on taking Loki, they might be forced to fight again.
Thor covered his face with his hand, sighed, then looked at Clark.
"Let me speak to him, at least. I just want to talk."
Thor had no choice but to compromise. He didn't want any more trouble on Earth. And frankly, he was getting tired of Loki's antics. If he wanted to stir up chaos, fine—but why do it on Earth?
When Clark saw Thor back down, he knew they had reached an understanding.
"Alright then," Clark said, "let's head back to the plane."
Then he turned to Diana."I'll carry you—don't try flying into the jet like that again."
Tony and Thor exchanged a quick glance and flew off toward the Quinjet where Loki was being held.
Diana rolled her eyes at Clark, then held out her right hand.
"Agent Romanoff, please open the hatch. We're back. Oh—and we brought a guest."Tony's voice came over the jet's comm system as he instructed J.A.R.V.I.S. to open the hatch, his tone sharp and sarcastic.
"Mr. Stark, next time, please don't hijack someone's comm system without permission. Now… who's the guest?"Natasha was clearly annoyed, though she knew arguing with Tony wouldn't change anything.
"You've had access to the comms for a while but didn't use it. Anyway—we're here."
By the time Tony and Thor reached the aircraft, Natasha had already opened the hatch. They saw Clark arrive just behind them, carrying Diana in his arms. She gracefully stepped back into the jet.
"Hey, good evening, Steve."Clark smiled as he saw Steve Rogers standing next to Loki, shield in hand—clearly still guarding against any rescue attempt.
"Clark! What are you doing here? What happened out there?"Steve was surprised to see both Clark and Diana walk in.
"All taken care of," Clark replied calmly. "I pushed the alien ships into the sun. I figured leaving advanced alien tech lying around wasn't a great idea. Who knows what some brilliant nutjob might do with it?"
Clark felt Earth's current technological progress was already impressive and steadily improving. But a sudden leap forward could be dangerous—especially in the Marvel world, where anyone might create a world-ending weapon overnight.
"Are you the guest Stark mentioned?"Steve asked, still trying to piece things together.
"No, not me," Clark replied, pointing to Loki. "It's his brother."
"Thor? Didn't you kill him already?"Loki's lip curled at Clark's words. Honestly, he had no interest in seeing Thor right now. Prisoner or not—willing or not—it was all rather humiliating.
"Loki, I didn't know you wanted me dead that badly."Before Clark could respond, Thor flew into the cabin and marched straight up to Loki.
He grabbed Loki's chin and asked,"Loki. Where. Is. The Tesseract?"
Even with his face pinched and jaw clenched, Loki forced a twisted smile.
"Thor, really… I missed you too. I didn't even know you'd come back—ha ha."
"Loki, I'm not joking. Where is it?"Thor yanked Loki up from his seated position.
"Hey Cap," Tony leaned toward Steve, "think he's gonna kill him?"
"With a brother like that?" Steve shrugged. "I'd consider it."
"Well, he'd better not," Tony muttered. "Otherwise, how the hell are we gonna find the Tesseract?"
"The cube isn't with me."Loki held up his shackled hands and shook them in Thor's face.
"Besides, Thor, you don't really understand the Tesseract's power. I've seen it—experienced it—across time and space. I know what it can do."
"So no… you can't stop me. The throne of Asgard should've been mine. I will be king!"
"But not of Asgard… no, this time it'll be Midgard! I will be king of Earth!"
"…Thor, is your brother, like… okay?"Tony looked at Loki, eyebrows raised.
Thor glanced at Tony but said nothing. He turned back to Loki and asked:"Who showed you the Tesseract's power?"
Clark, standing nearby, already knew the answer:Thanos.
"Who told you that you'd rule Midgard? Tell me."Thor's voice was low, serious.
Again—Thanos.
Thor had a sinking feeling. It wasn't just Loki—someone else was pulling the strings behind the scenes. Someone powerful. Maybe Loki wasn't entirely to blame.
"Loki… give up the Tesseract. Abandon these twisted ambitions. Or else…"
