Chapter 763 - NASM: Chapter 763

"I never expected we'd spend the whole day out and buy so many things! But you know what? Running around and playing all day feels way less tiring than just walking around shopping. I'm a little worn out, sure, but definitely much better than yesterday!" Hiroshi said with a grin, carrying several bags in both hands as they walked.

Harumiko nodded, smiling. "I can't believe how much stuff we bought again today. Everything is just so cute! I just hope we can carry it all with us when we leave for home tomorrow."

It was already evening. They had spent the entire day at the Lake of Mirrors and eaten plenty of food — there were stalls everywhere selling grilled skewers, fried snacks, and all kinds of treats, and they had tried almost everything. Neither of them felt hungry now. Carrying all their purchases, they walked slowly back toward their accommodation.

"We're going to sleep so well tonight! Today was honestly such a happy day. We'll get a good rest now, sleep in tomorrow morning, buy some food supplies, and then set off for home," Hiroshi said happily as they walked.

Harumiko nodded. She definitely planned to sleep well tonight, and even put on a facial mask to take care of her skin. Tomorrow, they'd sleep late, go out to buy food, and then finally head home.

"Just thinking about it makes me so excited — tomorrow we finally get to go back! Once we're home, I'm going to rest properly and just enjoy being there. I wonder what everything looks like now?" she said, turning to him with a bright smile.

Hiroshi was just as excited. It had been over a year since they left, and tomorrow they would finally be on their way back. This time, they planned to stay home for a very long while.

"I don't know what changes have happened either — we'll find out once we arrive. But no matter what it's like, I still love our village, Konoha, more than anything," he replied, looking at her.

Harumiko nodded in agreement. They quickened their pace, hurrying back to where they were staying. This was their very last night here, and they intended to rest well.

About twenty minutes later, they finally reached their room. Stepping inside felt incredibly comforting — they were so glad to have a place to settle down and lie in bed to rest.

"This is perfect! As fun as it was out there, nothing beats lying down comfortably in bed," Hiroshi said, dropping their bags to the side and immediately flopping onto the mattress with a happy sigh.

Harumiko took off her shoes and lay down slowly beside him. Both of them felt their bodies completely relax, as if they hadn't rested properly in ages. It was such a warm, happy feeling — being in a strange place, yet having the person they loved most lying right next to them.

"Harumiko, let's rest well tonight. Tomorrow we'll sleep in, buy some food, and leave for Konoha in the afternoon. It's going to be a long journey home, though — this place is really, really far from our village," Hiroshi said softly from the bed.

She nodded, then slowly sat up and turned to look out the window.

"It doesn't matter how far it is. I know we'll get there safely. And I'm sure once we're back, we'll just let ourselves relax completely — sleep for days, and spend plenty of time with our families. Honestly... I miss home so much right now," she whispered, gazing out at the dark.

Hiroshi knew exactly what she meant. Before leaving home, he hadn't realised how much it meant to him. But after being away for over a year, he missed everything about it, and everyone he loved there.

"You're absolutely right. I miss everything about home too. When we get back this time, I want to stay for a long time — even a few months if we can. We don't have anything urgent to do anyway, so we'll just enjoy being home," he said gently, smiling.
