"Noel!" Tess calls when he slinks into his cubicle the next day. "I heard you got sick!"
Noel offers her a half-hearted smile. "Yeah, Solis didn't agree with me, I guess. Must have been the seafood."
"You still don't look great," Elijah comments. "You sure you shouldn't be at home?"
"I feel fine."
"Were you watching when that thing showed up?" Tess asks, wide eyes peeking over the dividing wall.
"Yeah, I was." Noel sets his bag down and starts going through the files on his desk. "Saw the whole thing. Have you seen it?"
"Everyone's seen it," Catherine answers from her desk. "The whitecoats have been playing the videos nonstop and the news won't shut up about it."
"No word on what it was?" Noel wonders without much conviction.
"Nope," Catherine says, popping the p. "But the gawkers online have started calling that thing a revenant."
