For a farmer, it would take half a year of work to buy a single potion to heal minor injuries. These minor injuries don't include surface cuts, but rather injuries other than broken limbs and visceral traumas that could leave permanent after-effects, such as bone fractures or rib cracks.
Of course, don't think this cost is too high, as hiring a Transcendent for healing, like a formal Mage or Natural Wizard, would cost at least 1 Gold Coin for a single treatment.
