"What is it, my children?"
Kaguya looked at Naruto and Sasuke tenderly, her voice soft and motherly.
Whether she truly believed Naruto's story and saw them as her grandsons, or simply mistook them for Hamura and Hagoromo, was unclear.
Either way… one could only imagine the emotional damage this caused poor Black Zetsu.
"Please," Naruto said earnestly, "don't use Infinite Tsukuyomi again — and don't turn people into White Zetsu anymore, okay?"
If possible, he genuinely preferred to resolve this peacefully.
After all, Kaguya had transformed humans into White Zetsu as weapons to fight the Ōtsutsuki clan.
But honestly… even if she created thousands upon thousands of White Zetsu, would that really be enough to threaten the Ōtsutsuki?
Aside from a few mutants like Tobi, the vast majority of White Zetsu were barely at chūnin level. Forget fighting Madara-level shinobi — even the Kage from the Five Great Nations could wipe them out by the dozens.
So what did that mean?
Did Kaguya overestimate the Ōtsutsuki's strength... or underestimate it?
If she thought the Ōtsutsuki were strong, then how could she believe an army of White Zetsu could stop them?
If she thought they were weak, why was she so terrified of their arrival?
Naruto simply couldn't keep up with her logic.
"You have no idea how powerful they truly are," Kaguya said after a pause, her expression turning grave.
"We actually do know," Naruto replied. "Not long ago, we took down one of them — a guy named Ōtsutsuki Isshiki."
"..."
Kaguya froze. Then her face hardened.
"No. There are many more Ōtsutsuki out there — far stronger than Isshiki! Only by creating enough White Zetsu can we ensure our safety!"
"So there's no talking this out, huh?"
Naruto sighed. No matter how much he pleaded, Kaguya refused to listen. She remained stubbornly convinced that only a vast White Zetsu army could protect her from the Ōtsutsuki.
Apparently, even the ultimate "Talk no Jutsu" had finally met its match.
Well, at least now he knew where Madara's stubbornness came from — clearly, it ran in the family.
Naruto exhaled, resigned.
"Then, Grandma... I'll have to ask you to return to the moon."
It wasn't about peace, or justice. He just couldn't stand seeing the people who fought beside him turned into those lifeless white husks.
Humans held infinite potential — but once you became a White Zetsu... that was it.
"Mother," came Black Zetsu's eager voice from her sleeve. "If you don't want to kill them, then allow us to seal them instead!"
Overjoyed that negotiations had failed, he practically vibrated with excitement.
Naruto clapped Sasuke on the shoulder, transferring a portion of his chakra and energy into him.
"Sasuke — you've been powered up. Go get 'em!"
Then he hopped beside Nagato.
"Leader, sit this one out. Let Sasuke handle it."
Nagato frowned. "That woman's chakra is even greater than Madara's. I suggest we join forces. If Sasuke goes alone—"
"Relax," Naruto grinned. "A huge chakra pool doesn't mean greater fighting skill. Sasuke alone can handle her."
"Besides, we'll be watching his back."
Meanwhile, Sasuke had already engaged Kaguya in battle.
"Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack!"
The ultimate taijutsu — said to shake the heavens themselves. Yet despite its divine power, its attacks were... a bit too straightforward.
"Existence... Analysis."
Sasuke's Mangekyō Sharingan spun rapidly, the five-pointed star gleaming with strange light.
"I can see it — the trajectory of her blows."
With impeccable footwork, Sasuke narrowly evaded the barrage of devastating strikes.
"All-Killing Ash Bones!"
From Kaguya's palm, a gray bone shot forth — a weapon that could disintegrate anything it touched.
In response, Sasuke simply flicked a single shuriken.
The two projectiles collided midair — and Kaguya's attack dissolved harmlessly.
Kaguya's chakra level was undeniably immense — far surpassing Naruto's in raw quantity. Only in full Nine-Tails Chakra Mode could Naruto barely match her.
Her techniques, too, were among the most advanced in existence.
Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack, All-Killing Ash Bones — each a move worthy of the pinnacle of shinobi arts.
But sheer power and brilliant techniques meant nothing if you didn't know how to use them.
Her attacks were painfully linear — trading blows like some turn-based RPG.
In short: Kaguya Ōtsutsuki had terrible combat instincts.
And the longer the fight went on, the clearer that weakness became.
No sense for battle.
No innate combat talent.
No tactical thinking whatsoever.
Had she never fought before? Of course she had — she'd battled hundreds of times a millennium ago. Yet even with that experience, her actual combat ability was... pitiful.
It seemed she was simply born unsuited for fighting.
That was why she feared the Ōtsutsuki so deeply.
That was why she kept creating White Zetsu soldiers.
Her fear all stemmed from one thing: a lack of firepower.
"Mom! Flank him mid-lane! Mid-lane, Mom!"
"Mom, use Ash Bones! Aim for his ankles!"
"Mom, Rabbit Hair Needle! Rabbit Hair Needle, now!"
"Mom—!"
With the tactically clueless Kaguya being "coached" by her overexcited son Black Zetsu — who shouted orders like a backseat gamer — their "battle" with Sasuke looked more like a chaotic online match than a fight for the world.
At their level, sound traveled too slowly for such commentary to even help — by the time Kaguya heard Zetsu's advice, Sasuke had already moved miles away.
No way he'd stand still waiting for her to attack.
Sasuke smirked. In the course of the fight, he'd already copied a number of Six Paths–level techniques from her — he couldn't use them yet, but someday, he would.
And that only widened the gap further.
Truthfully, Kaguya now felt less threatening than Madara had.
In the original story, fighting Six Paths Madara had been pure despair — even Might Guy's full-power attack barely scratched him before he regenerated instantly.
But Kaguya?
That was practically a playground.
Everyone got their turn to shine against her — living or dead.
At first, Nagato had been extremely cautious — his six paths of Pain puppets standing ready at six directions, prepared to intervene at any moment.
But as the fight went on, he realized... there was really no need.
"Amenominaka!"
Frustrated by Sasuke's constant hit-and-run tactics, Kaguya finally unleashed her ultimate technique — the power to freely switch between dimensions.
In an instant, the trio was transported to a world of roaring magma.
The Lava Dimension.
Unfortunately for her, both Naruto and Nagato could fly — and Sasuke's Susanoo allowed him to do the same. The sea of lava beneath them was meaningless.
Next came the Ice Dimension. Then the Desert Dimension.
All equally pointless.
If Naruto hadn't known better, he'd have thought Kaguya was just showing off her abilities.
And then came the Super Gravity Dimension.
The crushing force slammed Sasuke flat against the ground — he couldn't move at all. Even Nagato was forced to one knee under the immense pressure.
It would have been the perfect moment to finish Sasuke off.
But then... Kaguya, the "Progenitor of Chakra," the "Source of All Chakra," was also fla
ttened by her own supergravity.
Face down.
Pinned to the ground by her own jutsu.
The scene was... indescribably awkward.
So... was this supposed to be serious?
Or was she here just for comic relief?
