Chapter 223 - I, Naru-to, Have a Dream

Of everyone present, the one least affected by the hypergravity space was Naruto.

In fact, he was the only one still standing, while the others were forced down to the ground.

After all, Naruto had long trained using the Weight Increase Rock Technique, and his body was already accustomed to several times normal gravity.

So rather than finding this hypergravity environment unbearable, he actually felt it was perfect for training.

"The gravity here is at least ten times normal. Even I can feel the strain,"

"If someone were to train in this environment…"

A month of training here might be equivalent to a year of ordinary practice,

Kakarot's voice echoed in Naruto's mind.

Having trained under ten times gravity himself, Kakarot knew very well how beneficial such an environment could be.

Then I'd better record the coordinates of this place for future training, Naruto thought to himself with a nod.

If one month under tenfold gravity equaled a year of normal progress…

Then what about a hundredfold gravity? Would that be like ten years?

In the Dragon Ball world, Kakarot had once adapted to a hundredfold gravity in just a few days, and his combat power had skyrocketed from 8,000 to 180,000.

Naruto strongly suspected that Kakarot's later heart disease had everything to do with that kind of excessive, extreme training.

After all, everything must be done step by step.

Even Vegeta, during the Frieza Saga, took years to gradually increase his gravity training to 300 times normal.

To go from tenfold to a hundredfold gravity in just a few days—

Even if the body could endure it at first, hidden damage was bound to surface later.

Incidentally, while tenfold gravity might be an extraordinary thing in the Naruto world—perhaps even a lethal weapon—

in the Dragon Ball universe, such gravity was nothing remarkable at all.

To put it simply: the Saiyan homeworld, Planet Vegeta, had a natural gravity of tenfold.

King Kai's planet also had tenfold gravity.

Even Pui-Pui, the alien under Babidi's control, lived on a planet with tenfold gravity.

In other words, one of the greatest trump cards of the "Chakra Ancestor" in the Naruto world…

was just the normal living condition of someone else's home.

After an unknown amount of time, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki finally managed to lift herself up.

"As expected of Grandmother," Naruto said, "you've already adapted to tenfold gravity."

He turned toward Sasuke, who was still struggling against the ground.

"You'd better keep at it, Sasuke."

"Hmph!"

Even while pinned to the floor, Sasuke refused to admit defeat.

As expected of Naruto. Even in this gravity, he's completely composed.

I thought I'd finally caught up to him… but the distance between us has widened again.

Next time, I'll definitely surpass him.

Sasuke made that vow silently in his heart.

Nagato, too, had his own thoughts:

As expected of the direct descendant of our ancestor… unlike me, who lacks talent. It seems the true legacy of the Uzumaki clan should indeed be passed on to him.

"This place is perfect for training," Naruto said. "Why don't we all just train here from now on?"

"Why aren't you affected by the gravity?" Kaguya asked, struggling to lift her head.

Seeing how effortlessly Naruto stood while everyone else suffered under the pressure, she was astonished.

If earlier she had mistaken him for her son—Hagoromo or Hamura—

now, for the first time, she was truly seeing Naruto for who he was.

Because under tenfold gravity, Naruto couldn't fully suppress his aura anymore.

And in that moment, Kaguya realized that this youth before her—whose chakra so closely resembled her sons'—was just as powerful as they had been… perhaps even stronger.

Naruto glanced around, observing the gravity space.

"This place isn't bad," he said with a grin. "How about giving it to me?"

When Kaguya didn't answer for a while, Naruto continued,

"As for why I'm unaffected—well, I've long been used to training under extreme gravity."

"I see…" Kaguya replied softly. She wasn't much of a talker to begin with, and fell silent again, still struggling to stand.

"I suppose I underestimated you," came a voice—Black Zetsu's.

"Naruto, with power like yours, why not join forces with my mother?

Together, ruling this world would be child's play."

As Kaguya's ever-loyal strategist, Black Zetsu proposed what he thought was an irresistible offer.

"Don't you want to conquer the world?

Don't you want to become its ruler—the sole, supreme name in all existence?

With your help, even if those 'celestials' come again from beyond the stars—"

Before he could finish, Naruto cut him off.

"Conquer the world? And then what?

Beat back the next wave of Ōtsutsuki invaders? So what?"

Naruto wasn't one for subtlety—he directly exposed what Black Zetsu had only hinted at.

Celestials? Please. I'm practically a heavenly dragon myself.

After rejecting Black Zetsu's offer, Naruto turned his gaze to Kaguya.

"Grandmother, though you're millennia older than me, your perspective is still bound to this one planet—

bound to the Ōtsutsuki alone."

"As if the universe begins and ends with them."

Naruto shook his head.

"Too small. Your vision is far too small."

"While the Five Kage squabble over power on the surface,

my eyes have already turned to the vast, endless cosmos—toward the very planets where the Ōtsutsuki dwell."

"While you still worry about the next Ōtsutsuki invasion,

my attention has already shifted beyond them—toward other worlds entirely."

"The world is broader than you could ever imagine—far beyond comprehension."

"I've been to other worlds.

I've witnessed a parallel version of our own—the night of the Nine-Tails in another timeline.

I've even glimpsed fragments of yet another world—where a small Goku transforms into a great ape under the moon."

"Since then, my ambition has never been confined here," Naruto said, pointing to the ground beneath his feet.

"I remain only to see this story through—to finish what I started. Nothing more than a matter of interest."

"I'm just a martial artist passing through."

"I have a dream—

I want to pursue the ultimate peak of martial arts, to see how far I can truly go."

"I want to face the terrifying Demon King who once sought to destroy the world (Piccolo Daimaō)."

"I want to stand atop Planet Namek and challenge the unmatched Emperor of the Universe (Frieza)."

"I want to compete on the ring against the ultimate warrior born from the cells of countless mighty beings (Cell)."

"I want to sit and drink with the God of Gods (the Kaiōshin), who dwells in a realm beyond mortal reach."

"And I want to witness the overwhelming power of that ancient cr

eature who once plunged heaven and earth into chaos (Majin Buu)."

"I want a life filled with excitement, challenge, and passion."

"My goal… is the vast, boundless sea of stars!"
