Chapter 224 - The Voluntarily Sealed Kaguya

"Hahaha, brat, that was amazing!"

Inside the seal space, Kurama roared with excitement, his blood boiling.

"Back in the day, I called myself the most powerful being alive and spent my days idling away. But after seeing that long-tailed kid and Mr. Son—such overwhelming strength—I realized I was nothing but a pitiful frog in a well. Especially after hearing Mr. Son talk about those mystical orbs of his…"

In the seal space, when Kakarot and Kurama weren't training, they mostly exchanged stories.

Though Kakarot wasn't much of a storyteller—his delivery was clumsy and his phrasing awkward—the world he came from was so full of wonder that even his rough retellings made Kurama's imagination soar.

"Brat, everything you just said… I've been thinking the same!" Kurama bellowed.

"Now that's the kind of determination a Jinchūriki of mine should have!"

Even Kakarot nodded approvingly.

A true martial artist must constantly challenge the strong, push their limits, and surpass themselves. Only through such trials can one reach the peak of martial arts.

All that Naruto had said earlier came from his heart.

From the very moment he mastered ki and stepped onto the path of a martial artist, that dream had taken root within him.

After all, with Kakarot's soul residing within him, how could he not yearn to witness the vast, turbulent world of Dragon Ball for himself?

Even if he was still far from achieving that dream now, he would never stop moving toward it.

A dream worth chasing is one others would laugh at.

"The Demon King, the Emperor of the Universe, the Ultimate Warrior, the God of Gods, and the Primordial Demon…"

"So Naruto's ambition really stretches that far?" Sasuke thought, still pinned to the ground by gravity, biting down hard with frustration.

"Once we get back, I'll double—no, triple my training!"

Nagato, too, reflected in awe:

"As expected of the true bloodline of our ancestor…"

"Foolish!" Black Zetsu snapped stubbornly. "You have no idea how terrifying those 'celestial outsiders' truly are!"

Having never traveled to the parallel worlds like the rest of the Akatsuki, his perspective remained narrow—limited by his native worldview.

"It's fine… I've lost."

Even after giving it her all, Kaguya could only barely sit upright in the hypergravity space, nowhere near the effortless composure Naruto displayed.

Realizing victory was impossible, she accepted defeat without hesitation.

"Mother, what are you saying?!" Black Zetsu cried in disbelief.

"We still have a chance! If we summon the God Tree—"

Kaguya raised a hand, cutting him off before he could finish.

There was no point in continuing the fight. She had already used nearly all her techniques.

Of the multiple dimensions within her ultimate ability, Amenominaka, only one or two remained unused—and even those would make little difference now.

After unleashing everything she had, Kaguya hadn't even managed to subdue Sasuke alone—let alone face Nagato, whose strength surpassed his, or Naruto, whose power was beyond comprehension.

She knew her own limitations.

Combat was never her strong suit; if she could draw out even ten or twenty percent of her full strength, that was already impressive.

To keep fighting now would only make her a laughingstock.

With a weary gesture, Kaguya dispelled the hypergravity field.

Everyone was returned to the Rain Village.

"Come. Seal me."

Kaguya's expression was calm as she spoke.

The veins bulging at her temples from the activated Byakugan subsided, and her face softened into serenity once more.

"Mother?! You can't mean—!" Black Zetsu shouted in shock.

He had spent millennia scheming to resurrect her—

and now, less than an hour after her return, she was choosing to be sealed again?!

Even Naruto was taken aback.

As long as Kaguya used Infinite Tsukuyomi to turn everyone into White Zetsu, he'd had no intention of sealing her at all. That had been the condition during their earlier negotiations.

After all, he wasn't exactly a "dutiful grandson of the ninja world."

But if Kaguya willingly chose to be sealed—he wasn't about to stop her either.

"It's actually quite peaceful being alone in there," Kaguya said softly, soothing the frantic Black Zetsu.

"I've always liked quiet places. During my thousand years of imprisonment, I came to appreciate the tranquility."

"The only reason I emerged was to see my children again… and to guard against the arrival of those beings."

"Now that I've at least seen Hagoromo's descendants, I'm satisfied."

"Your power has already surpassed mine. As long as those beings don't all come at once, they won't be your match."

She paused, then turned to Naruto.

"By the way, how should I address you?"

Naruto pointed toward himself and the others.

"Grandmother, my name is Uzumaki Naruto. That's Uchiha Sasuke, and that's Uzumaki Nagato."

Then, realizing she might not recognize the names, he explained further:

"The Uzumaki carry Asura's bloodline, and the Uchiha carry Indra's."

"Uzumaki and Uchiha… I see," Kaguya said softly.

"Go, then, my descendants. Fulfill your ideals. By the name of the Rabbit Goddess, you have my blessing."

"Six Paths: Planetary Devastation!"

Under Nagato's full power, the Six Paths technique drew Kaguya's chakra away.

Her form dissolved, and she was once again sealed upon the moon.

Kaguya was sealed again—but this time, it was by her own choice.

And this time, she wasn't alone. A small, shadowy figure remained by her side.

Originally, Naruto had wanted to keep Black Zetsu behind—his abilities were quite useful, after all.

But the stubborn creature refused to leave Kaguya's side.

In the end, Naruto had no choice but to seal him along with her.

Once Kaguya's chakra dissipated, the only one left was the Sage of Six Paths—Madara Uchiha.

During Kaguya's manifestation, he hadn't been unconscious.

He had heard everything that was said—and he understood what had transpired.

Obito was dead.

Black Zetsu was sealed.

There was no point in fighting any longer.

The "Eye of the Moon" plan had been Madara's life's purpose—his dream, his obsession.

Yet after devoting his entire life to it, he had discovered that it was all a lie.

Now, his heart felt empty and lost.

"Madara-senpai," Naruto said, extending an olive branch.

"Why not join us? Join Akatsuki.

Our ideals may differ, but our goal is the same—peace."

With Nagato and Madara together, even an Ōtsutsuki invasion could be handled.

Madara shook his head.

"Not for now."

It wasn't a rejection—but not acceptance either.

"I wish to wander for a while… to see the world with my own eyes. Once I've done that, I'll come find you."

Meanwhile, the ninja alliance's war had finally ended.

The Akatsuki had achieved an overwhelming victory.

The Cloud Village, once one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations, had fallen to the status of a minor village after this defeat.

As for the noble houses of the Five Great Countries—

there would be no more nobility.

From this day forth, the world would belong to both the shinobi and the people.

"Sasuke," Naruto said once everything was settled and they had returned to the Land of Whirlpools,

"call Neji and Lee. It's time for a new round of special training. The goal this time is that hypergravity dimension."

Three months later, only Sasuke had barely managed to qualify for entry into the hypergravity field.

The others were still working on mastering the Weighted Boulder Technique.

Naruto, meanwhile, was preparing for another journey across worlds—

but this time, he would go alone.

With a creak, the massive gate—once part of the Pure Land itself—swung open.

Naruto stepped forward through the doorway, and his figure vanished from sight.
