Er Yin quietly sneak around till she comes to a room to hear a women screaming. There isn't any window instead a big balcony and the curtains are flying. Er Yin look in carefully to see a half naked man with his back facing her. She walk in and pull him back with a turn she wing her leg to kick him hard on his face. That man falls backwards. She turn around to see a girl crying on the table. She hurry to pull up her clothes properly. She whisper.
"Are you strong enough to follow me? I will lead you to safety. Will you believe me?"
The girl stop cry and wipe her tears. She nod her head. Er Yin tells her to go find some strings that they can tie him up.
After that, the girl follow Er Yin around. They creep from room to room. Finding one girl after another. Er Yin is wondering where is her soldiers. Finally she see that they are all force to sit down in the courtyard. As she is standing on the second floor. She give them a bird signal. With a pokerface, they look at each other and understand the mission. Er Yin hurry to hide the civilians well enough in a dark room. Before she leaves, one of them hold her hand.
"Big sister, please be careful."
"I will. I promise to come and fetch everyone to a safe ground."
The girls all nod their head and watch her creep out again. In the dark and silence room, they watch and listen if there is any danger.
Er Yin slowly creep around to the ground floor. She still hear screaming but she is not going to go there. She needs her girls to be release before she can do anything. Her girls watch from the corner of their eyes. The Mongols are talking to each other in a relax manner. Er Yin see that only three Mongols are standing in front of her soldiers. She look for a little pebble on the ground. She throw towards them and it hits on one of the Mongol. The three look towards the direction. At that moment, the girls on the ground roll over and knock them off their feet. Er Yin rush out that moment too. The soldiers with their elbows together, they punch the Mongols within their reach. One of the Mongols managed to get up but Er Yin grab the near by sword and slice his neck. After the three Mongols are done, Er Yin hurry to cut the ropes around the female soldiers. She tell them to go find the rest of the girls who need help. While she rush up to the room where she left the civilians.
Upstairs the ladies who are hiding the dark room shiver in fear. The one nearest to the door holds a vase in her hand with mucus is leaking down her nose. Her hands shiver and she wonder why she did not leave the fortress when she is given the chance. She thought of her grandfather whom is probably hold captive somewhere. She mumble her prayers. At the same time, Er Yin comes into the room. She is nearly hit by the vase.
A group of women quietly creep out the silence building now. Standing behind a wall, Er Yin peep to see what is happening outside the streets. It's all quite there is no one around. She wait for the rest of her fellow soldiers to come gather. They need to stay together to be strong enough to escape to a better place. She tells everyone quietly.
"Probably the safest place is the temple. They are known not to harm holy monks. So, the place must be safe to hide in. We will try to get there before dark."
Everyone nod their heads. Er Yin count the number of women all in total, twenty eight.
"Two who are injured, get a solider to support you. The rest, we do as how we escort, front and back. Make sure we have weapons on hand. Those who lost your weapons, go find one now. We will move off within ten mixtures. Go."
She watch some of her girls rush off.
After a while, they walk out of the buildings. They hear talkings and avoid that alley. They walk with cautious. Sweat beats are rolling down on everyone's face. Luckily for them, the temple is not too far away. It is on the next alley but there are Mongols standing in their way. They cannot afford anymore to join them or notice their present. Er Yin together with another five girls spit up to the two building that face the alley where the Mongols are standing. Behind those pillars both side of the girls are hidden well enough. Er Yin used a wooden pole that is laying on the wall, she gives it a kick. It falls and the Mongols turn their sight and follow where the sound comes from. They follow and soon see Er Yin standing behind the pillar. They look surprise and before they raise their weapons, the girls from the other side of the building have already follow them behind. They hit them hard on their head. Those men fall and the girls drag them back and tie them up.
They enter the temple with the monks chanting non stop. Quietly, they enter a room for the female devotees. They all remain inside til they listen that the chant have ended. After awhile, someone knock on their door. The civilians are frighten but not the soldiers. Er Yin slowly open with her girls standing by to attack.
"Female devotees, don't worry. We will not say a single word that you are all hiding here. These are some biscuits that we have. Please."
He hand over a plate of it. They all place their hands together and bow.
"What are your plans from now? Staying here will not resolve the present problem that this fortress is facing."
The monk ask as he walks in the room. Er Yin close the door after she look outside.
"Holy monk, would you know where are the rest are hold captive?"
"Yes. There is a few sick and old are at the opposite room."
"What about the rest?"
"If i am not wrong, The rest are held in prison."
"Captain Xie! We have to break in and rescue them!"
"I know but we need to know how many Mongols are guarding the place. Also where is the commander of the Mongols."

"Let's scout first then we do the rest. This fortress is our home. We will kick them all out!"
