Er Yin is creeping around the rooftop of some buildings. She watch the ground where the Mongols are having a good time drinking and eating. Seems strange that no one notice those men who send the women away is not back yet. She observe them. Without a word, she and another solider move together. The sun is setting so it is not a best timing to jail break. They wait for the other girls who are scouting on the other gates.
The gate that is heading towards the city is now fill with Mongol soldiers who are trying to destroy the gate. Previously Luo Ming had melt some metal onto the locks and gaps of the gate. Also he had extra wooden planks to be enforce at opposite side of the gate. Thus it is a hard job to take it down. They are not able to bring in any of their big auxiliary weapons thus they have to use manual force to break the gate.
"Most of them are gather at the south gate. Trying to break it down. Captain Luo have seal the gate. It will take them a long time to break it down."
The girls are whispering while squatting down in a corner.
"Then let them continue to be busy with that. While we try to set our men free in the jail cell. There are four men outside guarding and two inside. They are rotating as i watch them this morning. So it is easy for us to take them down. Either we kill them or knock them off. Everything must be done with in fifteen mixtures to be safe."
They girls nod their heads.
"While inside, the keys are hang on the wall. Also importantly look for the Duke and General An."
"No matter what happens, we cannot return to the temple. Just incase this beings trouble to the holy monks and the women in there. So we will go to the magistrate's office. We don't know how many men are left alive in there but we have to safe them all. So when i see it is the chance, we will go once i give the signal. Like this... understand?"
The girls all nod their heads again. That evening, they watch the mongols eating their dinner. Not watching their surroundings. They are drinking as well. Er Yin look around and decided that it should be the time that they will go to jail break. Creepy around, looking everywhere to ensure there is no Mongols approaching, they walk bravely towards the Mongols. They look surprise and put down the meat in hand. Before they say anything, Er Yin run and punch. The girls too follow her example.
It is a fast and swift action from the team. The four men who have drink enough is rather show in their action thus Er Yin and her team is able to take them down fast. Inside the cell, the other two men is also eating and drinking. Her team knock them off easily. The keys are located easily. They unlock the cells. The men are delighted to see the female soldiers alive. The Duke who is kept in the last cell is delighted to see Er Yin. He hug her tightly and check if she is fine. They smile and walk out of the cell together. The unconscious Mongols are place in the cells with the keys thrown away. She tell them that they all cannot travel in a group. Thus they all meet up at the magistrate's office. Everyone nod their heads. Slowly everyone creep out and go into hiding. Luo Ming who have an jijured leg is not able to move around agile. He is supported by the Duke.
In the quiet of the night, only the south gate is noisy and pack with Mongols thus the Han Chinese soldiers are able to move smoothly and quietly. Everyone hiding in the magistrate office, pick up weapons that they have hide previously. The left over hand bombs are hidden as well. Either the Mongols did not check this building or they are sloppy or they don't care. The only thing that bother them is that they are all hungry. Some of them started to chew on some grass as they are farmers who knows what is eatable. Pastries found in the kitchen is not eatable as there are moulds growing on it. While they find endless supply of tea.
After a while, the Duke ask who would like to volunteer to scout at the south gate. Four men volunteer and know what to do. They will need to get back within a burn of a incense which is an hour. The men left and the Duke continue to whisper in the dark.
"The gate, since it is hard to tackle, they will take a long time to bring it down. We need to reduce the men there. We will kidnapped them and put them in the cell. I will need two men to pretend they are Mongols soldiers guarding the cell. Since till now no one notice some of their men is missing."
"How are we going to kidnapped them?"
"When they walk away from the south gate. We will follow them and knock them off. We need to reduce the number of Mongols at the south gate. So that we can tackle them all and put them all in the jail cell."
