Late night
Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan
Not far from the clan's main headquarters, deep within a barren mountain range, there existed a concealed cave carved crudely into solid rock.
Inside the cave, a soul master clad in the robes of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan knelt on the ground, his body trembling violently.
Puh—!
A mouthful of blood sprayed onto the stone floor.
"Why… why…" his voice cracked, eyes filled with despair and disbelief. "I already told you everything… everything!"
Standing before him, Jun Wuhen's figure was bathed in dim shadows. His expression was calm—so calm it bordered on indifference. There was no rage or contempt.
"You misunderstand," Jun Wuhen replied quietly.
He raised one clawed hand and pressed it against the soul master's chest. With a sharp, decisive motion—
Crack.
The soul master's eyes widened in horror and pain as Jun Wuhen clawed out his heart.
Jun Wuhen spoke again, his tone flat.
"That is precisely why I am not torturing you."
The soul master's body stiffened, it collapsed lifelessly to the ground.
Thud.
He stepped over the corpse without sparing it another glance.
'However,' he thought calmly, 'the information he shared was truly useful.'
'Who would have thought the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan was hiding so much power?'
A flicker of doubt crossed his eyes.
'But I don't recall them possessing this many Titled Douluo in the original story.'
Jun Wuhen exhaled softly.
'Still… I am fortunate. The information I received really opened my eyes'
'Yesterday, Yu Yuanzhen, after recuperating for five days, departed for Elemental City to consolidate control over the Elemental Academies.'
'And Elephant Armored Academy's sudden withdrawal confirms it—Spirit Hall has also stepped back.'
'Elemental City is now controlled by the Fire, Water, and Wind families. Thunder Academy has always been the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan's puppet.'
'Inviting the wolf into the house to lure away the tiger… only to be bitten instead.'
Jun Wuhen clenched his fists, lightning and frost intertwining faintly around his knuckles.
"Yu Ming…" He know knows the name of the person who attacked him and spoke it as if a curse etched into his soul.
'I don't care for whatever purposes you took two Titled Douluo and rushed to Heaven Dou City. It makes my rescue much easier'
His eyes narrowed. 'Which means… only one Titled Douluo remains behind.'
A calculating glint appeared.
'My chances of infiltration have increased significantly. Don't worry, I will take revenge on you later Yu Ming, now saving Chu Yue is more important.'
The killing intent slowly faded.
Jun Wuhen's expression softened—just slightly.
'After all,' he continued, 'I've already obtained the exact location where they're holding her.'
His clenched fists loosened.
'Don't worry,' he vowed silently, lightning flickering like a promise in his eyes.
'I will save you… very soon.'
By a stroke of luck—or perhaps by the silent blessing of someone manipulating events from behind the scenes—Jun Wuhen infiltrated the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan without encountering resistance.
The patrol routes he had extracted earlier proved accurate. Shifts overlapped imperfectly, blind spots appeared for mere seconds, and those seconds were enough for someone like him.
Like a shadow slipping in darkness he moved swiftly and soundlessly through the inner compound until he arrived before a unguarded locked stone chamber. The lock—clearly not meant to stop someone like him.
Jun Wuhen raised his hand, soul power condensing around his palm.
Crack.
A single precise strike shattered the lock without disturbing the surrounding seals.
He stepped inside. The room was dim, lit only by a faint soul lamp. On a simple stone bed lay Chu Yue, her breathing shallow but steady, her face pale as if carved from jade.
Jun Wuhen went to her side and gently lifted her wrist. Faint green lines crawled beneath her skin.
His pupils contracted.
'Jade Phosphor Poison.'
His expression darkened for only an instant before calm returned.
Back in the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Valley, even brushing too close to the poison barrier without proper protection would cause similar symptoms. For ordinary Soul Masters, this poison was a death sentence—no common antidote could neutralize it. Without intervention, it would corrode the organs and spirit within fifteen days.
But Jun Wuhen had prepared. Dugu Bo's antidote rested securely in his spatial storage which he had taken from Tian Yue.
Relief washed over him when he carefully inspected Chu Yue's body and found no other injuries.
No bruises or other signs of humiliation..
Yu Ming may have been arrogant, but he was not foolish enough to force himself on someone poisoned by Jade Phosphor, when he did not have anymore special antidote prepared by yang Wudi.
Jun Wuhen carefully supported Chu Yue's head and fed her the antidote pill, guiding it down her throat with soul power.
Moments passed. Slowly, visibly, the green veins beneath her skin faded.
Her breathing grew steadier. Jun Wuhen finally exhaled.
Without hesitation, he lifted Chu Yue into his arms. 'We're leaving.'
He moved swiftly toward the exit, retracing his path, every sense sharpened to the extreme.
But fate—so cooperative until now—finally showed its teeth.
As Jun Wuhen turned a corner, a sharp, suspicious voice rang out.
"Your face looks new?"
Jun Wuhen didn't pause or even look fully at the speaker.
Boom.
Lightning erupted as his Martial Soul possessed him.
"Martial Soul: Qilin."
His free hand snapped forward.
"Second Soul Skill: Piercing Thunder!"
A thick, condensed bolt of lightning shot from his fingertip like a divine spear.
The clan member's eyes widened in shock—and the thunder pierced straight through his throat.
Blood gurgled uselessly from his mouth as he collapsed soundlessly to the ground.
Jun Wuhen stepped over the corpse, Chu Yue held firmly against his chest, lightning fading back into silence.
