Chapter 381 - Chapter 377: Act 3 : Dire status

Jun Wuhen stepped over the corpse, Chu Yue held firmly against his chest, lightning fading back into silence.

His intent had been clear from the beginning—kill swiftly, leave cleanly, and vanish before the anyone else could react.

However, his lighning attack was clearly not so much silent.

Not long before hurried footsteps echoed from both ends of the corridor. Two Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan disciples rushed in, only to freeze when they saw their comrade lying in a pool of blood, his throat still faintly sparking with residual lightning.

Rage ignited instantly.

"Enemy!"

Both men roared almost simultaneously.

"Martial Soul: Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon—possess!"

Lightning crackled violently as draconic scales spread across their arms and shoulders. Without hesitation, arcs of blue thunder lashed out toward Jun Wuhen.

Jun Wuhen shifted, turning his body sideways while tightening his hold on Chu Yue.

Boom!

The lightning struck the stone wall, shattering it into fragments.

Jun Wuhen counterattacked in the same breath.

"Second Soul Skill: Fire Roar!"

A blazing roar of fire burst from his throat, colliding with the lightning and exploding outward in a violent shockwave. One disciple was thrown backward, slamming into the wall with a broken arm, while the other barely managed to stabilize himself.

But the sound— The sound had already spread.

Shouts echoed from every direction. Figures poured in like a tide.

Jun Wuhen's brows knit tightly.

'Too many…'

Lightning and fire flashed continuously as the corridor became a battlefield. He struck decisively, never lingering longer than necessary, but each exchange cost precious seconds.

And seconds were deadly.

Midway through the clash, Chu Yue stirred weakly in his arms.

"Wuhen…?"

Her voice was faint—but audible. Jun Wuhen's heart sank.

At that exact moment, a stray bolt of lightning curved unnaturally through the chaos and slammed into his side.

He twisted instinctively—but Chu Yue still cried out softly.

Blood stained the corner of her lips. Jun Wuhen's expression changed completely.

The cold calculation shattered, replaced by something far more dangerous.

"You…!"

His soul power surged violently as he forced the surrounding clan members back.

"Fourth Soul Skill: Fire Thunder Shadow Punches!"

His fists blurred, fire and lightning intertwining as dozens of afterimages smashed into the enemies ahead. Bodies flew, bones cracked, and screams filled the air.

But then—

A slow, amused voice echoed behind him.

"Here I thought something serious had happened."

Jun Wuhen's blood froze.

"But it's just a little dragon cub… and the canary Little Ming captured."

Jun Wuhen turned sharply.

Standing there, hands clasped behind his back, was Yu Luomian.

The resemblance to Yu Yuanzhen was unmistakable—sharp features, arrogant posture, and lightning flickering lazily across his body.

As Yu Yuanzhen's younger brother, Yu Luomian had also consumed Whale Glue.

Now—He was a Level 93 Titled Douluo.

The second strongest existence in the clan.

Yu Luomian's eyes flicked toward Chu Yue, then back to Jun Wuhen, filled with amusement.

"So you're the one who sneaked in," he said calmly. "Impressive. But that ends here."

Jun Wuhen gently set Chu Yue down behind a collapsed pillar, shielding her with debris and residual soul power.

Then he stepped forward.

Lightning roared.

"Seventh Soul Skill: Martial soul true body!"

Fire and thunder erupted as the Qilin form fully manifested, scales glowing red-gold as storm clouds gathered overhead.

Yu Luomian moved "Third Soul Skill: Lightning Punch!"

A single punch carried compressed thunder, tearing through the air like a cannon.

Jun Wuhen met it head-on.

"Fifth Soul Skill: Guided Lightning!"

The lightning redirected, locking onto Yu Luomian like a lightning rod.

BOOM!

Both were thrown back several steps and even absorbed the lightning as food.

Yu Luomian laughed.

"Interesting!"

Lightning flared violently as he raised his hand.

"Fifth Soul Skill: Thunder Net!"

A massive net of lightning descended, crackling violently as it tried to bind Jun Wuhen and drain his soul power.

Jun Wuhen roared.

"Sixth Soul Skill: Eye of the Storm!"

A violent storm formed around him, vacuum-like winds tearing at the thunder net, devouring soul power while fire and lightning twisted chaotically.

The two techniques collided, canceling each other in a violent explosion.

But Yu Luomian had already activated his next move.

"Seventh Soul Skill: Martial Soul True Body!"

A massive Blue Lightning Thunder Dragon manifested, scales shining like forged steel, lightning roaring with overwhelming authority.

Jun Wuhen responded and fought with everything he had—every strike and movement fueled by desperation.

But— Yu Luomian was simply stronger.

"Eighth Soul Skill: Dragon Lightning Pincer!"

Two massive lightning constructs snapped shut like the jaws of a beast.

Jun Wuhen barely crossed his arms in time.

CRACK!

Blood sprayed from his mouth as he was slammed into the ground.

He struggled to rise—but his body trembled.

Jun Wuhen staggered, blood flowing steadily down his arm, each breath scraping his chest like broken glass. Chu Yue came forward, one arm hooked around his waist, supporting his weight despite her own pale face.

The situation was unmistakably dire.

Yu Luomian slowly rolled his shoulders, lightning crawling lazily over his skin as he watched them with predatory interest.

"Your bloodline…" he said, eyes narrowing. "It's rare and strong."

A cruel smile curled his lips.

"Let's see—if I bleed you dry, will your blood serve as a tonic?"

Sun was rising as the new day started , the day for the Sermons of Angel Goddess had arrived.

However Yu Luomian did not care about the event held today, all his attention was on two people in ront of him.

He raised his hand and the pressure suffocated the air.

Just as his fingers twitched—

A thunderous crash shattered the battlefield.

BOOOOM—!

(Author Notes: Jun Wuhen's behaviour is much like a Chinese novel's protagonist is because Qian Renxue had expanded his little emotions he held for Chu Yue to be greater than his own life. This was done much earlier and after Qian Renxue became sane she only observed the course of events )
