Chapter 382 - Chapter 378 : Act 3: Jiang Mo reaches at the last moment

A thunderous crash shattered the battlefield.

BOOOOM—!

The ground shook violently as an enormous cudgel smashed into the earth, splitting stone and sending shockwaves rippling outward. Dust and debris erupted, forming a towering barrier between Yu Luomian and the two injured youths.

A cudgel stood upright like an unmovable wall, along with it a calm but reproachful voice followed.

"Jun Wuhen."

The voice cut through the chaos like a blade.

"Don't you consider me your senior? Why did you run off on your own earlier?"

Jun Wuhen's pupils constricted.

"…Senior Jiang."

Relief surged through his battered body.

Another voice chimed in immediately, bright yet resolute.

"We didn't sneak out for sightseeing," Tian Yue said, golden scales faintly shimmering. "We came to save you."

Yu Luomian's expression darkened instantly as he recognized Jiang Mo the rising star.

"So Spirit Hall finally shows its fangs."

His voice dropped, icy and merciless.

"No need to keep any of them alive."

Lightning surged violently around him.

"They dared trample on the dignity of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan."

At his command, the surroundings erupted.

Soul rings flared like burning suns. Twenty soul masters stepped forward—eight soul rings blazing behind each of them.

Behind them, over fifty Soul Sages revealed their auras, followed by countless elite clan members, each one radiating killing intent.

The pressure crushed down like a collapsing mountain.

Jiang Mo's eyes narrowed.

'So this is it…'

From Twilight Hermit's intelligence, he had known the clan was secretly strengthening its inner core using Whale Glue.

But seeing it with his own eyes—

 'This level of power… astonishing.'

Before he could finish his assessment—A violent killing intent locked onto him.

Jiang Mo's and Yu Luomian's gaze met.

 'A Titled Douluo…'

Jiang Mo's grip tightened.

'I cannot afford even a moment of distraction.'

He spoke without turning his head.

"Tian Yue."

"Yes."

"Support from behind. Protect Wuhen and Chu Yue."

Golden Crocodile aura surged as Tian Yue nodded without hesitation and ran behind, positioning herself like an unbreakable fortress behind them.

Jiang Mo inhaled slowly and the cudgel in his hand hummed ominously.

He stepped forward alone.

----

The resulting clash was nothing short of catastrophic, which nearly went on for half the day.

Below the sky darkening due to dark clouds, half of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan buildings lay in ruins—collapsed halls, shattered stone pillars, and scorched grounds still crackling with residual lightning and violent soul power. What was once a proud clan stronghold now resembled a battlefield.

At the heart of the destruction stood Jiang Mo, whose presence alone felt like a mountain refusing to collapse.

Yu Luomian's clothes were torn to rags, blood staining his chest and arms. Fractured scales marred his body, lightning flickering erratically around him as his breathing grew heavy.

Around him stood Ten Soul Douluos of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.

Some were kneeling, barely standing, bleeding heavily, while some lay unconscious on the ground.

Yu Luomian spat blood and roared furiously,

"Why—won't—you—fall?!"

Opposite him, Jiang Mo stood drenched in blood.

Crimson streaks ran down his arms, legs, and torso. His breathing was steady but strained, every inhale dragging pain through shattered muscles and cracked bones.

Yet his grip never loosened.

The Heavenly Evil Breaking Cudgel was planted firmly into the ground like an unyielding pillar, its surface etched with ancient patterns now glowing faintly under the storm-dark sky.

Crackle—

Thunder rolled overhead from dark clouds

Jiang Mo lifted his head slowly. Rain began to fall.

Droplets struck his bloodied face, washing crimson into the cracks of the shattered earth.

'I won't back down.'

Even if this was the last day he ever held his cudgel—

He smiled.

"All of you," he said calmly, voice hoarse yet unwavering, "can come together."

Lightning flared violently in response.

On the other side of the battlefield, Tian Yue was barely holding on.

Golden Crocodile scales had dulled, many shattered. Her breathing was ragged, her soul power close to depletion. She had fought wave after wave—Soul Sages, Soul Douluos—her defense unmatched, but even an iron wall would eventually crack.

On the other side were Jun Wuhen and Chu Yue with barely any breath left.

Jun Wuhen had become a beacon of hatred.

The dragon pressure emitted from his Qilin bloodline was like a provocation—an insult—to every Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon present. It drew enemies like moths to flame.

His body was riddled with wounds, lightning burns and claw marks overlapping. He could no longer stand. His vision flickered, consciousness slipping through his fingers like sand.

Chu Yue had shielded him. One fatal blow meant for his heart—

She took it instead.

Now she leaned weakly against a shattered wall, breath faint and uneven, blood soaking into her clothes. Her eyes were half-open, unfocused, life ebbing away by the second.

Jun Wuhen lay with his head resting on her lap.

Her warmth was fading.

Crackle—

Rain fell harder now, as cold droplets struck his face, running down into his eyes.

His lashes trembled.

'I… have regrets.'

His fingers twitched weakly, trying to reach Chu Yue's hand—but they fell short.

His consciousness dimmed.

'If fate really wants me to die…'

Thunder roared and lightning split the sky.

'Please…if you exist

The Almighty Angel Goddess

The one who has gazed this place from beyond.....

.....I pray for your protection

I pray for your blessing'

His lips barely moved but he completed a prayer in his mind.

"Avenge me."

CRACKLE—!!!

A deafening thunderbolt answered, illuminating the battlefield in blinding white.

Nature itself seemed to rage.
