You might be wondering how I ended up in this situation. Well, it goes something like this: Zoro passed out, dead tired from fighting all the pirates here. Meanwhile, I was in the middle of convincing Alvida to join my crew. After chatting with her for a bit, I decided to challenge her to a fight. Honestly, she was even easier to beat than I expected, but hey, at least she's strong enough to swing that club around like it's nothing.
Once she agreed to join my crew, I gave her the devil fruit Dragon had given me—the Sube Sube no Mi (Slip-Slip Fruit) or (Smooth-Smooth Fruit), which was originally hers. Now that she's eaten it, her body is so smooth that normal attacks just slide right off her. Plus, as a side effect, any weight she gains just slips off, too. Looking at Alvida now compared to a few minutes ago, I wouldn't even call it a side effect—she's looking amazing!
"Alright, where were we? 'Hey, Zoro, wake up! We need to head back to Yotsuba Island. Alvida needs new clothes for our journey because her old ones just won't cut it anymore.' Once we get Alvida some clothes, I'm planning to head to the Gecko Islands. Specifically, I'm going to Syrup Village for two reasons: to recruit Usopp and to see if I can buy the Going Merry ship. I don't think Klahadore is there yet because the papers haven't mentioned Captain Kuro's execution, so he probably hasn't arrived. If he were there, things would be so much simpler. Man, what a hassle. As Zoro, Alvida, and I leave the island, some of the knocked-out pirates start waking up.
I approached the pirate I spoke to earlier and said, 'You remember what I told you to do, right?' 'Yes, sir. You said to spread the word about the Spade Pirates, Pirate Hunter Zoro, and Iron Club Alvida.' 'Good. Also, make sure to mention that Alvida has devil fruit powers.' 'Yes, sir.'"
