Chapter 32 - Chapter 32

We did well heading back to Yotsuba Island (Shells Town) first. Alvida got herself some new clothes, and now we're sailing towards the Gecko Islands as planned. It'll take us a couple of days to get there, maybe even a week, depending on the weather. We didn't run into any trouble in Shells Town because Kuro hasn't been caught yet, which means Captain Axe-Hand Morgan isn't in charge. It's a peaceful town right now, and I hope it stays that way.

I'm planning to take Luffy's crew out to sea, so I've got three problems to solve first. Usopp has a Klahadore issue, so I'll need to deal with Captain Kuro. He might have some talents I want to copy, and Django's hypnotizing skills could be helpful. Lafitte had a similar talent.

As for Nami, she's been dealing with the Arlong problem for a while. I don't know where she is right now, but I know she's out there trying to gather a hundred million berries to pay off Arlong. Little does she know, Arlong won't keep his end of the bargain.

Before Sanji left the Baratie, he had to handle Don Krieg and his men. So, we need to take care of those guys before heading to the Grand Line. Looks like I'll be spending more time in the East Blue than I expected. Plus, there's something I need to do with Dragon before leaving.

With all that said, I'm going to do it as no one else has before. I'll leave for the Grand Line with style, boasting the highest bounty in the East Blue—higher than Luffy's thirty million berry bounty before he even set foot on the Grand Line. But that's all a few weeks away. Right now, I just hope I get to Syrup Village as soon as possible.

"Alvida, remember, you're cursed by the sea now. If you ever fall in, you'll sink like a rock, unlike those who can't, and watch out for sea prism stones."

"Sea prism stones? What's that?" Sea Prism Stones are minerals that can nullify Devil Fruit powers. Just like the sea, if you touch it, you'll get super weak. Sometimes, you might not even be able to stand, especially in the Grand Line. The World Government uses them to make handcuffs to neutralize power holders.

"Ace, didn't you say you just became a pirate a few weeks ago?" "Yeah, why?" "No reason, it's just that you seem to know a lot about Devil Fruits and the Grand Line."

"Well, no need to worry. My dad was a pirate, and I've been training for this my whole life, so I know a lot, especially about the Grand Line. By the way, Captain, is it okay for him to sleep that much?" Alvida asks, pointing at Zoro. "It's fine. I've seen Zoro sleep through hurricanes; this is nothing for him."
