Chapter 75 - Chapter 74 - The Beginning of Chaos (III)

Looking at the demigods on the ground, Godwyn was not surprised by the outcome; he was a god, and these young men were just normal demigods, not even children of a powerful god.

"Your loyalty is quite admirable, but you have to choose your adversaries well." Godwyn said with a laugh. These young men were true friends; it's not every friend who would fight someone else to protect you. Such a scene was absolutely impossible to happen among the gods.

That's why Godwyn wanted his pantheon to be composed of demigods who ascended to godhood. That sense of morals, character, and education was something the gods would never have.

The young men did not respond and only groaned painfully. Godwyn's punches were not light; he broke some noses and even some jaws. So, they were quite sore at the moment.

"Karl, you'd better stop, everyone is watching." Thalia regained her composure and whispered to Godwyn, who nodded. He didn't plan to defeat all the demigods present. He had already caused enough chaos, and looking at Zeus's smiling face and Hera's somber face, Godwyn could imagine that both thought he was Zeus's son.

Honestly, the idea amused him quite a bit; he wanted to see Zeus's expression if he knew the truth. Unfortunately, he didn't plan to pretend to be Zeus's son and enter Olympus more easily.

Although being Zeus's son was a good thing on Olympus, having a stepmother like Hera was terrible. Many of Zeus's children died at Hera's hands; he didn't want the goddess of marriage watching him all the time, waiting for the right moment to kill him.

"We have to go." Thalia said with a whisper, avoiding looking at Aphrodite, as she felt she would really try to kill the bitch if she had a sweet smile on her lips. At that moment, Thalia's disgust for Aphrodite surpassed even her disgust for Zeus.

The confession she had for Godwyn happened, but everything was ruined because of Aphrodite's jealousy; one can imagine the anger and resentment she had against Aphrodite.

Godwyn also knew it was time for them to leave, but he wouldn't leave without putting on a good show for the Greek gods, especially Aphrodite, who ruined the perfect moment between him and Thalia.

Holding Thalia's waist, Godwyn looked at Aphrodite with a proud gaze and calmly said, "Robin is the most beautiful woman in the world, surpassing the beauty of all goddesses present."

Under the admiring eyes of Ares and Zeus, the faces of all the goddesses present became as dark as the bottom of old pots. If looks could kill, Godwyn would have been dead the moment he uttered those words.

Especially among Hera, Artemis, and Aphrodite. Aphrodite, in particular, trembled with clenched fists; the purest feeling of fury made the goddesses' eyes glow with a dazzling phosphorescent light.

Godwyn's words offended all the goddesses present; their eyes focused on the girl in Godwyn's arms, and the goddesses' eyes shone with hostility. They scoffed at the girl's beauty, which was only above average.

Even the ugliest goddess present was more beautiful than the supposed most beautiful girl in the world. Which meant that Godwyn saw all the women present as inferior to the girl's beauty.

This feeling of contempt was completely unacceptable to these goddesses who care more about their own beauty than anything else. Especially Aphrodite; looking at the goddess's livid face of rage, one could imagine the anger she was feeling at that moment.

Godwyn and Thalia were feeling extremely comfortable seeing the goddesses' angry eyes. Both gods were not afraid that something would happen by offending all these goddesses.

They were strong; only Artemis, Hera, and Aphrodite could make both of them slightly serious. As for the other goddesses, Godwyn and Thalia simply didn't care; they were just nymphs and minor goddesses.

Furthermore, Godwyn didn't lie; Thalia's beauty, which was already stunning, became even more dazzling after she became a goddess. Her beauty was not inferior to Aphrodite, who was the goddess of beauty and eroticism.

Bowing to Zeus, Godwyn led Thalia away under the murderous eyes of many goddesses. Aphrodite looked like a venomous snake staring at Godwyn and Thalia's backs, as if thinking of the best way to painfully separate the couple.

Zeus couldn't help but feel satisfied seeing the boy bowing to him; it was almost like an acknowledgment that the boy was his son. Unfortunately, he couldn't claim the boy, especially under the eyes of Poseidon and Hades.

But Zeus saw his shadow in the boy; he was equally daring and, when young, did even crazier things than the boy named Karl. However, seeing the reaction of the goddesses present, he knew he had to do something, or this son would probably be cursed or, worse, killed.

Zeus knew better than anyone how crazy the competition for who was most beautiful was. These goddesses would do anything to be considered the most beautiful and deeply disliked any mortal or goddess who dared to say she was the most beautiful.

Aphrodite, in particular, cursed countless men and women throughout her immortal life, the most famous being Narcissus, the young man so beautiful that he fell in love with himself upon seeing his reflection in the waters of a lake.

Even the word narcissism came from this story, the myth of Narcissus.

Zeus sighed, but didn't feel much pressure; he was very persuasive in talking to these goddesses. Especially with Hera, Artemis, and Aphrodite.

However, whether it was Zeus or Poseidon, they didn't notice Hades, looking at Godwyn and Thalia's backs with a deep gaze, the god of the underworld's eyes showed a slight smile, as if he had just discovered something very amusing.

Leaving the temple, Godwyn and Thalia both looked at each other and sped towards the exit of Olympus. Both felt Hades' gaze on them and knew that the God of the Underworld had noticed something.

"This ability to see souls is quite annoying." Thalia commented with a tone full of helplessness, knowing that her uncle had probably discovered their identity.

"However, since he didn't say anything, it seems we might have another ally." Godwyn said with a smile. Having Hades as an ally was quite tempting, mainly because of the King of the Underworld's strength. A god who could fight Zeus or Odin for a long time.

Thalia nodded, although she was still angry with Hades for hunting her, she could put those feelings aside and think about the benefits they would have by having Hades as an ally.

Honestly, Godwyn liked this side of Thalia; the girl knew how to put personal feelings aside in moments of decision, which was a skill every monarch or queen should have.

Making decisions based on one's own feelings was asking for things to go wrong, as usually this type of decision went wrong. The famous phrase, "You only live once" is always used before some terrible decision.

"Let's go back to the Garden of Eden; we'll probably have an unusual guest." Godwyn said with a smile; he would await the God of the Underworld's arrival at their bar.

"Let's go, the King of Olympus will probably discover in the next few days that his entire fortune has been stolen." Thalia hurried Godwyn with a smile on her lips. Although there were some surprises during the mission, she felt that the mission was a great success.

"If it weren't for the Cloak of Darkness, it would be infinitely harder to enter Olympus." Godwyn agreed with Thalia's words and commented with a relaxed tone. He knew he owed a favor to the Primordial Goddess of Night.

Thalia agreed with Godwyn's words; the Cloak of Darkness was a powerful artifact. Although it wasn't as strong as Hades' Helm of Invisibility, it was an extremely powerful divine artifact.

After Godwyn and Thalia left Olympus, a Hellhound sniffed the spot where the gods were and quickly followed the scent. There wasn't just one, but a dozen of them.

Of course, if Godwyn and Thalia hadn't wanted to be found, it wouldn't have been so easy for these dogs to actually sniff them out. After all, they were luring Hades into a private conversation.

---

Hades walked calmly through the streets of New York holding a dark cane. He was formally dressed in a beautifully tailored Italian suit. His hair was neatly combed, and a faint scent of flowers could be detected on his body.

It was rare for the Lord of the Underworld to leave his workplace, but Hades came with a rather unusual purpose. Stopping in front of the door, Hades looked at the building with a surprised gaze.

If he hadn't known the exact location, he would have simply ignored this building; it was as if it didn't exist in the first place. This surprised him. He was a Lord God infinitely close to a King God. In the underworld, he even had the strength of a King God, but he couldn't detect this building, which showed how extraordinary it was.

Knocking on the door, Hades waited for a moment before the door was opened. Looking at the short-haired girl with electrifying blue eyes, he greeted the girl with a regal and calm tone.

"Niece."

"Uncle."
