Entering the bar, Hades looked at Thalia beside him with a calm expression, devoid of any hostility. He didn't hunt Thalia out of any malicious feeling towards the girl, but rather to infuriate Zeus.
So, he had nothing against the girl, although the same couldn't be said for Thalia. After all, Hades could understand if Thalia hated him; being hunted like a mangy animal could make people vengeful.
However, Hades' focus shifted to the boy behind the solid wooden counter. The reason the War between the Norse and Greek Pantheons was being fought at that very moment.
Sitting on the stool in front of the counter, Hades spoke in a calm tone. "A straight Manhattan, no ice." His calm eyes continued to stare at the young god before him.
Godwyn smiled and began to make the Underworld God's drink. Honestly, when he came to create his Pantheon, he wanted to invite Hades to manage the underworld for him. He was the Primordial God of Death, not the Primordial God of the Underworld.
Of course, Hades was the second option for Lord of the Underworld; he had a suitable demigod for the role.
Although Hades wasn't perfect, considering all the gods, Hades could be placed many levels above Zeus or Poseidon themselves. However, it didn't take much to surpass Zeus and Poseidon.
"Your drink, Your Majesty." Godwyn placed the drink in the glass and served the Lord of the Underworld.
"You have courage, Asgardian Prince." Hades brought his drink to his lips and spoke in a calm and regal tone. The boy was truly brave, being in enemy territory and even establishing a permanent residence.
"If I want to do something great, courage is essential." Godwyn replied with a smile; if he were afraid, he might as well not have started this rebellion and buried his ambitions deep in his mind.
Hades nodded his head, he looked at the boy with a penetrating gaze and asked in a cold tone. "I'll get straight to the point, what do you want?"
"I'm going to create my Pantheon; I want you to prevent Greece from attacking at the right moment." Godwyn knew that trusting Gaia completely was asking to be betrayed, so he needed a powerful God to prevent Greece from quickly attacking Asgard.
Of course, Hades was just Plan B, in case Plan A, which was Gaia, didn't fulfill her promises.
"And what do I get out of it?" Hades asked with a slightly interested tone; he never expected Godwyn's ambitions to be so grand. This was the creation of a Pantheon.
A Pantheon was essentially a realm in a dimension superior to that of humans, which is why mortals couldn't kill gods with mortal-made weapons. But creating a pantheon wasn't simple; often only powerful beings could perform such an act.
So, Godwyn's ambitions were extremely high and risky in Hades' eyes, but he didn't care; he only cared about the benefits he would receive.
"I will give the Divine Position of the Underworld to your son, of course, you can choose your other daughter in Alaska." As soon as Godwyn finished speaking, the aura of a God King emanated from Hades, billions of resentful souls appeared behind the Lord of the Underworld, all with their arms outstretched towards the Norse god.
The temperature of the entire bar dropped drastically, as if a severe winter had been invoked in the place.
Thalia became cautious, and her figure became covered in terrifying lightning and winds. The girl's eyes turned into pure electricity. A spear of electricity appeared in her hand and pointed towards the Lord of the Underworld, waiting for him to attack her lover.
In the next moment, the Lord of the Underworld's emotions returned to calm, and the dead disappeared; the temperature also returned to normal. Taking another sip of his drink, Hades commented with a tone full of displeasure. "These damned goddesses of fate think they can play with me without consequences."
In Hades' eyes, only the Fates could reveal that his son and two daughters were alive. Of course, Godwyn didn't clear up the misunderstanding and was very happy to place all the blame on the bitches of fate.
Thalia also relaxed, but her eyes were still fixed on her uncle, ready to defend Godwyn from any attack by the Lord of the Underworld.
Hades was silent for a moment and said in a calm tone. "Your proposal is tempting, Prince, but the chances of you creating a Pantheon are so low that it's almost nil."
As one of the most intelligent gods in the Greek Pantheon, Hades was extremely intelligent and astute. If it were easy for just any god to create a pantheon, this universe would be full of them. So, even being a god, the chances of such a thing becoming reality were low, almost nil.
Of course, Godwyn knew this; he could reveal his trump card, but he opted for the most obvious thing. He directly stated who had already invested in him.
"The Mother of Earth and Eternal Night visited my bar when it opened." Godwyn said with a smile, looking at Hades with a calm gaze.
Hades' face finally changed drastically; a trace of solemnity appeared on the face of the God of the Underworld. Gaia and Nyx were two terrifying and veteran goddesses of the highest caliber.
If the two primordials bet on Godwyn, it meant that Godwyn's chances of creating a pantheon were not low. Looking at the young god's smile, Hades assumed he had a trump card that made Gaia and Nyx trust him.
"Not just for Nico, but also for Hazel and Bianca." Hades spoke after a brief silence.
As a father, he wanted all his descendants to become gods. Unfortunately, Zeus would never give these Divine Positions to Hades, who was already powerful with only a few of his subordinate gods.
If Hades created a Divine Court in the Underworld, things in Greece would be very different. Although Hades is called King, he was actually a lord; there were never three god kings in Greece.
Perhaps only in the Hindu Pantheon could this work, but in Greece, it would never work, not while Zeus was on the Throne.
Godwyn smiled; with Hades' words, the negotiations successfully began. "I can give Nico the Divine Position of Lord of the Underworld and Bianca the Divine Position of Judge of the Condemned and Hazel the Divine Position of Judge of the Benevolent."
Honestly, Hades expected Godwyn to give his daughters small and insignificant Divine Positions, but hearing the Divine Positions, he knew they were powerful and influential.
But this showed that Godwyn was being sincere in the negotiations and truly wanted to be his ally.
"If you wish, I can give the Position of Lord of the Underworld to you." Godwyn added with a smile. If the two Divine Positions of the Lord of the Underworld merged, Hades would be a truly powerful God King, even outside the underworld.
It would be a lie to say that Hades wasn't tempted to accept, but thinking of his son and two daughters, his expression showed a rare gentleness. As a father, he owed many things to his three children.
Compared to his own power, Hades preferred to give his children a better life; it was the only thing he could do as a terrible father.
"No need, give the Divine Positions to my son and daughters." Hades finally refused Godwyn's proposal, making the Norse god look at Hades with a smile.
"The king of Olympus would have killed his children to get what I offered you." Godwyn said with a smile. "But you refused and gave the opportunity to your descendants. They are lucky to have a good father."
Hades looked at Godwyn and remembered that the boy's father was Odin; a look of understanding shone in the Lord of the Underworld's eyes. "I couldn't be a terrible father like a father like mine."
Godwyn certainly understood Hades' thoughts; he also would never be like Odin with his own children. If one day he is truly destined to be dethroned by his son, he will accept and pass the throne to him.
Under Thalia's confused eyes, Hades and Godwyn talked calmly, but a strange friendship was forming between them.
"Bring your queen later; I want to meet the famous goddess who conquered the cold heart of the God of the Underworld." Godwyn said with a laugh; he really wanted to know some compromising stories about Hades from Persephone.
Hades snorted coldly; he looked at Thalia and then at Godwyn and said in a calm tone. "Invite me to your wedding with my niece."
Thalia's face showed a rare blush upon hearing her uncle's words; she couldn't help but look at Godwyn with an angry gaze, promising that he would suffer after Hades left.
"It seems she's the furious type; good luck taming her." Hades said with a laugh, observing the girl's actions.
Turning to Thalia, Hades sighed and stood up, about to leave, but as he was about to exit, he stopped and looked at his niece again.
"Thalia, I apologize." Under the shocked eyes of Godwyn and Thalia, Hades actually apologized.
"I had a woman I loved; she was named Maria. I had two descendants with her, Nico and Bianca. Then, after their birth, your father created the law that gods should not interfere in the lives of their children." Hades spoke in a calm tone. "Another law was also created preventing the Big Three from having children with mortals."
"I had not broken this law, as Nico and Bianca were born before its creation, but your father found out and was furious even without our agreement being broken. He wanted to kill Nico, Bianca, and Maria, and partially succeeded if it weren't for me arriving in time and saving my children."
"Unfortunately, my beloved died under his lightning. After that, I was filled with hatred and rage, but I hid my son and daughter. When I learned of your existence, I was possessed by rage; I wanted to make you feel the same pain I felt."
"You probably can't forgive me, but I apologize nonetheless. I am not like this; I am not a being of rage and hatred." Without waiting for Thalia's response, Hades opened the door and left the bar.
Thalia woke from her state of shock when she felt Godwyn hugging her. "Are you alright?" He asked in a worried tone.
"I feel angry at him, but if I were in his shoes, I feel like I would do the same thing." Thalia said in a disheartened tone.
"Godwyn, I hate my father." She said in a soft tone.
"I hate my father too." Godwyn kissed her forehead tenderly and said with a smile.
Thalia and Godwyn laughed at each other, but remained embraced for a long time.

Note : I spent the whole day with my mother at the hospital; the woman simply drank minimal amounts of water for a long time and developed gallstones. There are about nine or eleven stones; the exact number cannot be seen, but there are many.
Drink water... in my mother's words, it feels like someone is constantly punching her in the stomach; even breathing hurts...
