Chapter 99 - Chapter 98 - Negotiations (II)

"HOW DARE THEY, HOW DARE THEY!!!" Zeus's furious roar echoed on Olympus, the entire mountain seemed to tremble. The nymphs, who previously sang and danced even in times of war, now hid in terror.

The thunderous sound of the lightning made the bodies of even the bravest gods shiver with fear, trembling that a bolt might strike their heads at any moment. Remembering the news that Athena had spoken upon abruptly arriving at Olympus made these gods feel shivers running down their bodies.

The atmosphere, which was previously peaceful, despite the deaths of the minor gods, woke everyone up to reality like a slap in the face. It wasn't just minor gods who were dying; powerful gods like Themis and Hermes had perished!

Even during the Titanomachy, Lord Gods like Hermes or powerful Titanesses like Themis did not die, but now, with the war between pantheons, two powerful gods have died!!!

And the worst thing was that the murder occurred discreetly and silently. Which was extremely frightening, as it meant that any one of them could die in an unknown corner of the world.

"I will go to the battlefield." Zeus, seated on his white ivory throne, spoke with a cold tone and an unsettlingly dark face. "The entire Olympian court will go to the battlefield."

No one refused, or rather, no one dared to refuse, of course, this was for the other gods; Poseidon and Hades were calm. Hades, in particular, did not seem surprised by the death of both deities. He had already sent both for reincarnation. He had even gained many benefits from Themis's death, as Gaia herself negotiated with him to reincarnate the Titaness.

Remembering Gaia's appearance, a hint of pleasure shone in the dark eyes of the Lord of the Underworld; seeing her acting so polite with him was simply the best thing that had happened to Hades in hundreds of thousands of years.

"Brother, remember that if you go to the battlefield, Odin will go too. This war will no longer be a war of attrition, but a true war of attack." Poseidon spoke with a calm and deep tone. He was not against going to the battlefield, but if Zeus goes, he will have to face Odin, something he did not want.

Odin's fame was not gained casually; it was a fame earned through a mountain of corpses, rivers of blood, and the deaths of his enemies. In comparison, Zeus was definitely lesser in prestige with other pantheons.

"I don't care. Odin dared to kill my son and wife; he must pay the price for such insolence." Zeus cared about nothing else; he felt that all the God Kings were looking at him with mockery and sarcasm!

Poseidon fell silent; he leaned back on his throne and gently tapped his fingers on the golden trident in his hand. After thinking for a moment, the Lord of the Seas spoke with a deep tone. "We must avenge Hermes and Themis. I will go with you to the battlefield, brother."

The gazes of Zeus and Poseidon fell upon the silent Lord of the Underworld; there was no possibility of them going alone without Hades.

Hades looked at his younger brothers and nodded his head; he did not speak, but his actions spoke louder than a thousand words. A fierce look appeared in the eyes of the Greek Big Three; the Norse World had to pay dearly for the death of two such important gods. This was the consensus among the Three Gods.

It was not just out of pride, but to show strength. Otherwise, Odin might ally with other pantheons and attack the Greek Pantheon jointly. Which was simply terrible, because even though they were powerful, they were not invincible.

As for their own allies, Greece had them, but they were not as powerful, as the powerful pantheons were already enemies of the Greek pantheon. They were not enemies due to some personal feud, but for the simple fact that pantheons were enemies of each other.

The gods on all sides wanted to devour other gods with similar Divine Positions to strengthen themselves. Just like the God King Amaterasu, who wanted to devour Apollo and usurp the Divine Position of the Sun.

"We will attack suddenly; I want Odin to suffer the same pain I am feeling." Zeus spoke with repressed fury. Hades and Poseidon exchanged glances and saw the sarcasm in each other's eyes. Zeus was not furious about losing a son; he was furious that Odin dared to kill his son.

The mere idea that someone could ignore him and dare to kill his son was something Zeus's arrogance could not accept.

At the same moment that the Greek Pantheon was ready to enter the war with full force, in two different places, two divine beings opened their eyes, respectively.

Cronos smiled maliciously as he looked at his great-grandson before him. He hid the insatiable hunger in his gaze and spoke with his thunderous voice. "LUKE!!!"

In another place, Typhon opened his eyes and smiled arrogantly; he ignored the naked nymphs around him and rose from his throne. "I'm back, Greece!!!!"

In New York, Godwyn also smiled satisfactorily. As the God of Order, he could feel chaos taking the place of order; a battle that would shake the foundations of both pantheons was coming, and he would emerge victorious.

And at the right moment, the heart of Yggdrasil would blossom in a dazzling and simply blinding light, announcing the birth of a new pantheon after a long time.

"What a frightening boy." Eros commented, seeing the smile on Godwyn's face. At the same time, he glimpsed how truly arrogant the gods were to allow a child to cause so much chaos. In comparison, humans really knew how to control their dangerous citizens.

"It's what the Great Will wants: to use Godwyn as an example to make the gods change for the better." Chaos commented with a casual tone, not caring what would happen if Godwyn devoured a large part of the Greek Pantheon that he created.

Honestly, he even wanted that to happen, because the responsibility of protection would fall upon Godwyn, and he would no longer be the guardian. If you want to wear the crown, you must understand that the crown is heavy, and responsibility was something that not even the King of the Gods can escape.

"Chaos, Cronos and Typhon must be about to leave their respective seals, right?" Godwyn looked at Chaos with a smile; he asked with an amused tone. Just imagining Zeus's expression when he discovers he would be surrounded by three battlefronts made him smile.

Chaos looked at the boy and nodded. "Typhon is almost out; Cronos will still take a little longer, but with the help of the little demigod named Luke, he will eventually escape."

As soon as Chaos spoke, Thalia's eyes widened; hearing Luke's name at that moment made her expression change drastically. She couldn't believe that Luke would actually ally himself with Cronos, the Cannibal Titan!

Godwyn was not surprised; ever since Annabeth said that Luke was distant, he could imagine that Luke had been influenced by Cronos. Just like the desire within Godwyn, the desire for revenge against the gods in Luke was very great.

Eros narrowed his eyes, hearing the names of the most frightening deities of the Greek Pantheon. The Primordial God of Desire couldn't help but feel a little sorry for Zeus; everyone was conspiring against him. However, the saying was clear: you reap what you sow.

It was the natural order of things; every action has a consequence. Zeus's actions made many gods and goddesses hostile to him. Whether it was Gaia, Nyx, or Hades himself, all were enemies of Zeus. Peace was a beautiful thing, but many want peace and cannot have it.

"It seems Typhon will cause trouble first." Godwyn murmured as he looked at Thalia with a deep gaze. Years ago, Thalia made a promise that she would help Typhon steal Zeus's Master Bolt; it seems that this promise had to be fulfilled as soon as possible.

As for delivering the Master Bolt, that was not in Godwyn's plans. The promise was to steal the Master Bolt; the promise said nothing about delivering the Master Bolt to Typhon.

Although his actions might make Typhon his enemy, that was something Godwyn did not care about. He would devour more than half of the Greek Pantheon; that would already make Typhon his enemy, so Godwyn did not mind weakening his future enemy.

Blame Typhon for not being precise enough in the negotiations, besides underestimating the malice of human beings.

Thalia looked at the evil smile on her boyfriend's face and couldn't help but laugh, thinking that he really looked like a villain full of evil plans. But, he was also incredibly attractive in her eyes.
