Chapter 100 - Chapter 99 - The Battle Between Zeus and Odin (I)

The arrival of Zeus on the battlefield did not go unnoticed by Odin. The Norse God King arrived accompanied by his ravens, Munin and Hugin, mounted on Sleipnir, the legendary eight-legged horse, and wielding Gungnir, the Spear of Destiny.

Both God Kings arrived with their full arsenal. There was no discussion or even any dialogue; the Master Bolt roared, announcing the end of times. A lightning bolt the size of a damned continent tore through the sky and fell upon Odin like a divine pillar of punishment.

Gungnir did not stand still and advanced mortally; the size of the spear grew equally large and collided with the pillar of electricity.

Both legendary weapons collided with force. A silence crept across the battlefield, and when the gods thought the attacks had neutralized each other, a fireball flashed in the sky, bringing destruction in the form of heat.

The gods on both sides used all their strength to prevent the heat from evaporating all the gods below the Lord God level. However, even so, the mere consequence of the attacks swept away everything within a radius of hundreds of kilometers. The heat caused all life to spontaneously combust.

Athena drove her shield into the ground and made it grow enormously while using her legs as anchors, trying to stay in place. However, she saw herself as a child before an adult, without the strength to even stop the consequences of Odin and Zeus's attacks.

The other gods helped, which allowed the minor gods to stay alive, even if it was just to glimpse the battle between the two divine kings.

Ares looked at the blackened surroundings with a touch of fear. Even being the god of war, he did not want to participate in a battle of this caliber. Although he was arrogant, he was not stupid enough to fight a war already lost.

"It's a completely different level." Athena commented with a solemn tone. Just thinking that she survived a blow from Odin, she felt a shiver run down her body. She received a casual blow from the God King, but she couldn't imagine surviving a serious attack.

Her thoughts were interrupted by her father's furious roar.

"ODINNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!" Zeus roared as the Master Bolt seemed to transform into its pure energy form, a two-meter-high spear, seemingly made of pure plasma, but he could hold it as if it were made of metal.

"I said I would bathe my throne with your blood, boy." Odin spoke with a cold tone as he dismounted from the legendary eight-legged horse. The Norse God King rose to his height of one kilometer, looking like a huge and imposing building, emanating a terrifying and oppressive aura.

Zeus's response was another attack, an even more violent and destructive lightning bolt. Where the lightning passed, the very concept of space seemed to distort while the light obscured even the sun's brightness. The sound was so loud that it resembled a magnitude nine earthquake.

Nothing could remain intact or still before Zeus's attack; the God King's fury seemed to feed the lightning, as it became even more violent and unpredictable.

Being one of the fastest elements in the universe, Odin didn't even have a chance to blink before the lightning hit him with force. However, he might have been hit, but the runes on his armor automatically created a shield around him, protecting him from the lightning.

Even if it was only for a moment, the shield was significant enough for Odin to calmly move away from the attack. The God King's single eye shone with a purple light, and a pillar of purple energy advanced against Zeus flying in the sky.

Zeus was caught by surprise, but he transformed into electricity and dodged, but when he was about to return to his physical form, he discovered that the pillar of purple energy was actually following him!

The King of Olympus threw a lightning bolt to intercept the purple pillar, which exploded in the process, but he couldn't help but be shocked to see the energy pillar split into hundreds of thousands of attacks advancing against him!

Zeus didn't even have time to flee before he was bombarded by purple energy pillars one after another. His elemental body was dissipated with each attack, but also rebuilt with each attack.

When all the attacks ended, Zeus appeared again, but the King of Olympus's face was completely furious; the expression of fury made the veins in his neck and forehead twitch like worms, so furious he was.

In front of all his subordinates and enemies, he was simply exploded countless times. A fool could see that Zeus lost in the first exchange of blows and Odin had the advantage.

Odin looked at Zeus and couldn't help but think that the regeneration of the Greek gods was truly a broken ability. Any other God King would have been injured, even if only slightly. But Zeus was unharmed because of the absurd regeneration.

In a distant place, under the space that Chaos had created, Godwyn brought Thalia and the little demigods to watch the fight.

"This is better than the Avengers movies!" Percy commented as he ate his popcorn with an extremely bright look. His friend, Nico, was also eating popcorn while watching the fight with an equally bright look. Although he didn't know what the Avengers were, he was still enjoying the fight with the highest quality special effects.

Godwyn looked at Percy and Nico; he rolled his eyes seeing both boys treating the fight of two extremely powerful beings as a random Marvel movie. However, it was no different from what Percy had said; this was an equally exciting one.

"It seems your parents will intervene in the fight." Godwyn spoke, drawing everyone's attention, including Chaos's.

With Godwyn's words, a dark and cold aura spread across the battlefield. The next moment, a man wearing black armor and a terrifying helmet appeared on the battlefield. A purple cloak was over his shoulders.

At the same instant, a tsunami appeared on the battlefield, and a man with brown hair and sea-green eyes, wearing golden armor and wielding a trident, arrived.

Hades and Poseidon had just arrived.

Although outside their respective territories they were only Near God Kings, they were actually close to the God King level, so close that they could be compared to God Kings, even if they were the least powerful ones.

Odin's face became solemn with the arrival of the two powerful gods. Although he said he would bathe his throne with Zeus's blood, he knew that this was not an easy task; Uranus's grandson might be young, but he was terribly powerful.

Along with the other Grandsons of Uranus, things became even more complicated, but there was no fear on the stern and cold face of the Norse God King. He took a step forward and faced the three gods without any hesitation, but something surprised everyone.

Odin's body multiplied by three!

All had different appearances; one looked like young Odin, the other looked like middle-aged Odin, and the last one looked like elderly Odin. The three bodies of Odin pointed their respective Gungnir and attacked without any delay.

"Why did Odin's body multiply by three?" Thalia asked with a shocked expression. The idea of fighting just one Odin was terrifying; the idea of fighting three was simply desperate.

"Buri's descendant is powerful; he used the runes of time to manifest his three versions at different ages of time and space." Chaos explained with a tone full of admiration. Even he didn't dare to touch things related to time, an entity that particularly hated any alteration in time and space.

Godwyn couldn't help but click his tongue in frustration. Someone could criticize Odin for anything, but never criticize his knowledge. This god who lived for millions of years was a library of spells and knowledge.

"This comes at a price." Chaos continued with a smile. "Even gods have to obey the law of energy conversion. Without divine energy, these Time Manifestations of Odin cannot remain manifested in the world for long." Chaos commented with a smile. Although it had a flaw due to the great consumption of divine energy, it was still an extremely powerful ability capable of changing the course of a war.

Godwyn understood the implications in Chaos's words, but facing three Odins was still desperate, even if it was for a short time.
