Chapter 102 - Chapter 101 - The Battle Between Zeus and Odin (III)

The fight between the three Odins and the three Greek Great Ones continued fiercely. All six participants were powerful, so powerful that they couldn't resolve the fight in just a few blows. The fight that seemed to destroy the world continued for a month before stopping.

However, the result of the fight was that all six were injured, especially Poseidon and Hades, each presenting significant wounds, showing that both were running out of divine energy to regenerate continuously.

Knowing this, Zeus knew he couldn't continue or he would have to face Odin alone, which proved extremely problematic. And even being proud, he had to admit, the one-eyed old man was insanely powerful.

Odin's skill with runes was simply an arsenal of different abilities. Odin had honed himself to the extreme; there was magic for everything Zeus could imagine, whether it was teleportation to dodge attacks or even becoming intangible for a while. Not to mention the Norse God King's attacks; the man had an arsenal of attack spells.

If it weren't for his regeneration, Zeus knew he would be injured, and it wasn't a casual injury, but a truly serious one. However, despite being able to continue regenerating, his brothers did not have this privilege as they were not true God Kings.

Odin also felt that the first round had come to an end and proudly retreated while his mind constantly replayed the fights he had just fought. He would create magic to prevent Hades from hiding in another dimension, deprive Poseidon of using water, and make Zeus's regeneration slow down.

Of course, not everything was rosy for the Norse God King; Odin was severely worn out after a fight of this caliber. The Manifestation of Time was a magic that spent a cosmic amount of divine energy. Even being a veteran and extremely powerful God King, he was still exhausted after fighting for a month.

From afar, Godwyn sighed, seeing the first exchange of blows end after a month. He looked at Chaos and asked with a slightly confused tone. "Is this what you call quickly running out of divine energy?"

Thalia had already taken the other demigods back to the Garden of Eden. The battle lasted a month, and besides Godwyn and Chaos who stayed, the rest had left a long time ago.

Looking at Godwyn, Chaos smiled and said with an amused tone. "Boy Godwyn, a month is no different from a second to me, so it's really short. Besides, in our future fights against the Outer Gods, we don't count years, but entire eras. Although there is no concept of time in the void, so not even a second will have passed in the material world."

Godwyn's lips twitched abnormally upon hearing Chaos's words. Eras??? He wasn't even fifteen years old in this life and would have to fight for eras against immortal and immemorial beings?

Godwyn regretted trying to create a pantheon, but he knew that if he had to choose, he would do it all again. Odin would never let him live free; he would use him as a weapon against his enemies, becoming more and more powerful as he devoured pantheon after pantheon.

Turning his gaze from Odin back to Godwyn, Chaos smiled even more provocatively. "But I have to say, killing your father is not exactly easy." Even he had to admit that Odin was a problematic adversary. If they were on the same level, he would become an extremely terrifying existence.

"Don't you want to choose him as a new Creator God?" Godwyn said with a sarcastic tone. He didn't speak out of envy, but because he knew Chaos's next words.

"I'd rather hear Ra say that Apophis is just a cute pet." Chaos said with an equally sarcastic tone. Although Odin was powerful and could qualify to be a Creator God, he really didn't want to have such a venomous serpent as a comrade-in-arms.

"Besides, with your father's hunger for knowledge, it's very likely that he will fall to the Dark Side." Chaos added with a calm and deep tone. Although Odin had the strength, he did not have the right character for the position.

Godwyn didn't doubt Chaos's words at all; he knew Odin well and knew that this was a very high possibility. However, Chaos's words also revealed that the Creator Gods had a very noble character or at least were extremely determined.

This was good news; he didn't have to worry about any crazy Creator God conspiring against him from the shadows. Another piece of good news he could take from this information was that when he created his own Pantheon, these creator gods would not interfere.

On the contrary, they would even help Godwyn achieve his desire. From what Chaos told Godwyn, he knew that these gods were busy, and with one more comrade-in-arms, they could have more free time.

In short, they needed a rookie full of youth to fight while they relaxed...

Thinking about this, Godwyn shivered. It wasn't a conspiracy; they simply embraced the newest comrade-in-arms with open arms and genuinely happy smiles. Looking at Chaos's smile, Godwyn's mood darkened.

Godwyn could imagine that he would be thrown onto the battlefield while the others relaxed for a long time.

"Don't worry, we take turns on the battlefield. Since it's your first time, we will all help." Chaos spoke with a happier smile; he could guess Godwyn's thoughts without even needing to read his mind.

Just as Godwyn assumed, he and all the other creator gods were more than happy to welcome new colleagues, because with each new addition, they could rest for one more era. How could they not be happy about that?

Unfortunately, creating a pantheon was not for all gods, and character was very important. After all, fighting Outer Gods was the same as fighting insanity daily for a long period of time. It was stressful, scary, and incredibly tempting to join the other side.

That's why Chaos was with Godwyn; he wasn't just teaching Godwyn, he was also observing him and was more than satisfied with what he saw. The boy was so good that Chaos doubted Godwyn was really Odin's son.

Godwyn rolled his eyes at Chaos's comforting words. He was sure that all the Creator Gods would go to the battlefield just to see him getting beaten by the Outer Gods! After knowing Chaos's personality, he knew that these primordial gods were extremely bored.

Just as a rookie at a job would be teased by the veterans, Godwyn had no reason to believe it would be different going to the battlefield for the first time.

"I don't need anyone when it's my turn." Godwyn said with a dry and sharp tone, clearly against the idea of having an audience when it was his turn to go into the void.

Chaos didn't comment but refused to accept Godwyn's words. He and the other creator gods were eager to see Godwyn's "presentation"; how could he accept being refused? If Godwyn didn't accept, he would make the boy accept.

Godwyn needed treasures, and treasures were what Chaos had most in his secret vaults. Showing a victorious smile, he took Godwyn away from the battlefield, as he felt the gaze of another creator god on the battlefield.

He didn't want to argue with old Ymir, who now only had a soul. The old giant was extremely annoying when it came to dialogue. Loki could annoy all the gods; Ymir could annoy the entire cosmos. Ymir's greatest feat was managing to annoy Yog-Sothoth, the most indifferent Outer God of all. Yog-Sothoth fought Ymir for almost Thirty Eras before finally reluctantly retreating.

Chaos naturally didn't want to meet Ymir and certainly didn't want Ymir to meet Godwyn. He didn't want this child to be corrupted by Ymir's rude language.

"Why are we leaving so quickly?" Godwyn was confused by Chaos's sudden departure. He wanted to take the opportunity to contact Loki to give the Ice Giant some more instructions, but now it was useless, as he was no longer on the battlefield between the worlds.

"An annoying bastard has arrived; I don't want you to come into contact with him." Chaos didn't hide it and spoke with a tone full of disgust towards Ymir, showing that he was also a target of the Norse Primordial Giant.

Godwyn didn't ask any more questions; he had more important things than talking to a guy Chaos found unpleasant.
