One day, **Pichu** stepped into the laboratory—only to find Tony asleep on the workbench.
Pichu shook his head slightly and called out,
"J.A.R.V.I.S., what's the status of my armor?"
**J.A.R.V.I.S.:** "Sir, the simulation design and manufacturing for Pichu's battle armor has been completed. It is currently undergoing simulated testing. At the current rate, if there are no issues, it will be ready for real-world production in one day."
"Good!"
Hearing this, Pichu smiled excitedly.
The *Pikachu Battle Armor* was a custom Iron Man suit designed to perfectly fit his Pikachu form.
A month ago, Tony had offered to make him a suit.
At first, Pichu was caught off guard. He knew how much Tony treasured his suits—and how selectively he shared them.
Tony was a bit of a tsundere. In *Iron Man 2*, when palladium poisoning pushed him to consider giving his friend James Rhodes a suit, he masked it by staging a fight with him.
The truth? Without Tony's approval, Rhodey couldn't have activated the Mark II at all. Every armor's AI was a subroutine of J.A.R.V.I.S., and unless you could beat J.A.R.V.I.S., you weren't getting control.
So when Tony asked *him* if he wanted a custom Iron Man suit, Pichu honestly wondered if Tony had stayed up too late and scrambled his brain.
(For the record, Pichu had already met Rhodes—and they got along just fine.)
Back then, Pichu had tilted his head at Tony and asked straight out:
"Tony, are you out of your mind? You're offering me a set of steel armor? Isn't that your baby? Are you really okay letting someone else use it?"
Tony's mouth twitched.
"What's that supposed to mean? Do you think I'm some stingy little miser? Sure, my suits are important to me, but you're my friend. One set of armor isn't a big deal. It's not like I'm handing it over to some scheming opportunist."
If Nick Fury had been there for that exchange, he'd no doubt have groaned: *"Why am I catching strays again without even showing up?"*
Pichu had then asked, "Then why do you suddenly want to make me a steel suit?"
Tony smirked. "It just came to me. I remembered—you can't fly, right? I'll build you one so you can feel what it's like to soar like a bird. What? Don't you feel touched?"
"…."
Pichu could only stare at him strangely—torn between feeling moved and trying not to laugh. Then, with a slight cough, he admitted,
"Actually, Tony… I can fly."
"What??"
Tony froze. *So he'd been played?!*
The urge to be annoyed burned in him—until he remembered this was over six months ago. His mouth twitched, but he took a deep breath.
*Forget it. Adults don't hold grudges against little troublemakers. Not worth raising my blood pressure.*
He let it slide. Fixing Pichu with a look, Tony asked,
"So—since you can fly, do you *still* want the suit?"
"Yes. Absolutely yes."
Sure, he didn't *need* the armor, but having a custom-made Iron Man suit? Even just as a collector's item, that was priceless.
"All right, then."
Tony nodded and stroked his chin. "Once the Mark V is done, I'll start designing yours. I'll need some of your body data. Also—since you've got built-in abilities, I plan to focus on utility functions instead of heavy weapons. Basic features: flight, communications…
"And if you want, I can rig it so it pulls in your own electrical discharge as a power source—charging its systems for flight, weapons, whatever. That way, the arc reactor can act as a battery. If it runs out, your electricity can top it back up. Actually… that's close to an armor concept I've had in mind for years—"
"Stop, stop…" Pichu raised a paw to his forehead. "You don't have to explain every detail. Just make the armor the way you said."
"Tsk, fine." Tony pouted slightly.
Thinking back to that conversation from a month ago, Pichu rubbed his cheeks. Tony was being so generous… maybe he really would make an effort to look out for him in the future.
At the very least—there was no way he'd just stand by and let Tony die from using the Infinity Gauntlet.
*Thanos… Infinity Stones…*
