Chapter 387 - Chapter 377 I drew my arm back, dropping my center of gravity

Rizevim's pupils didn't even track me. He was still staring at the spot where I had been standing a millisecond ago.

I drew my arm back, dropping my center of gravity. I clenched my fist, gathering an extraordinary amount of aura. Even then, Rizevim hadn't grasped my position. He couldn't even perceive me.

I drove my fist into his face at a speed that the very fabric of space couldn't react to. I twisted my forearm as I struck, corkscrewing the impact deep into his skull!

Rizevim was sent hurtling back, crashing through building after building until he disappeared into the distance.

I kicked off the ground, outstripping him with god-like speed to wait at his destination. The moment he burst through the final wall, I hammered an elbow into his spine, slamming him into the earth.

The ground beneath us buckled, collapsing into a massive crater that dragged the surrounding structures down with it. The shockwave rattled the atmosphere, and behind me, the air itself began to scream and warp. The space was twisting with a time delay, unable to process the speed of my movement.

"Buh… gah…! What… is this…?! I couldn't even… react…!?"

Rizevim crawled out of the dirt, coughing up blood, his face a mask of pure disbelief. He tried to stand, but his legs buckled violently. Two hits. Just two hits had dealt enough damage to make his knees quit on him.

"Hey… you've got to be kidding me… I put everything on the line for this. I took on this hideous form, and I'm taken down in two hits? By some piece-of-trash Devil…?! Me?!"

He let out a hollow laugh, as if trying to flee from reality.

Rizevim had turned himself into a monster by drinking a cocktail based on Ophis's snakes. Looking at him now, only one thought came to mind.

"You look pathetic."

"What did you say?" Rizevim snarled, a brow twitching.

"I said you're pathetic. It's just like Vali said. No matter how much you act like a big shot, your soul is just as ugly as that form you're wearing. 'Son of Lucifer'? 'The Lilin of Scripture'? Don't make me laugh, old man. You're a disgrace to the name of Lucifer."

He doesn't need that name. The one who truly needs it is someone else—the one who actually deserves to carry the Lucifer legacy.

Clad in my rainbow aura, I took a step forward and beckoned him with a finger.

"Come on, you third-rate Demon King. I'll show you the difference in 'class' between us... and a real monster."

"…RED DRAGON EMPEROR!"

Veins bulged across Rizevim's body as he snapped. He unfurled all of his Lucifer wings, spreading them wide in a desperate display of power.

If time is limited, I'll end this now. I'm going to be thorough.

Shining with rainbow light, I charged again at god-speed. No feints, no tactics. With my current power, I could crush him with raw force alone.

Rizevim tried to mount a defense, but it was meaningless if he couldn't catch me. I slipped through his guard and drove a high-speed knee directly into his gut.

"Guh! Damn you…!"

Vomiting fluids, Rizevim swung his arms wildly in a counterattack—but I was already gone. I appeared on his blind side and delivered a heavy kick to his wide-open ribs, launching him into the stratosphere.

As his body drifted, I hammered him with a blurred flurry of punches and kicks before forming an orb of energy in my palm and blasting him point-blank. Unable to even resist the momentum, Rizevim was blown through the clouds.

I glanced down at Vali.

"I'm going. I think I understand how much you hate him."

"…"

"Does it bother you that I'm the one finishing him? Yeah, I bet it does. But… could you leave this to me? I promise I'll drag him down to the dirt."

Vali closed his eyes. "…Fine. You have your reasons to slay him too. I'll leave the rest to you."

He was surprisingly honest when it counted. Well, whatever.

"Next time, let's go get ramen. I know a great place."

"The Two Heavenly Dragons sharing ramen… Hmph. Not a bad idea."

We shared a brief, knowing smirk before I took flight.

I broke through the clouds, leaving the rainbow world behind and piercing the dark shroud hanging over Agreas. There, I found Rizevim clutching his stomach, writhing in the air.

"Gah! Argh! Healing… Dammit! That brat…!"

He was frantically smashing vials of Phoenix Tears, pouring them over his wounds. But the injuries showed no sign of closing. The Phoenix Tears held by Qlippoth had been rendered 'worthless' by the Great King's power. To Rizevim, they were nothing more than drops of plain water.
