He hurled a mass of pitch-black magic at me. I reached out and caught it as easily as a ball, then crushed it in my grip.
Rizevim's eyes widened, but he immediately changed tactics, flapping his wings to lunge at me in a tackle. I dodged his desperate charge with a minimal movement, instantly took his back, and grabbed his wings at the base.
"These wings belong to Lucifer. They aren't something a stain on the Demon King's name like you should be allowed to carry!"
I ripped the wings clean out of his back. A sickening sound of tearing meat echoed, followed by a spray of fresh blood.
"AGHHHHHH! My wings! You…!"
Rizevim's face twisted in agony as he glared at me. I vaporized the severed wings right in front of his eyes.
His chest heaved as he struggled to breathe. His back was dyed a deep crimson, blood dripping down to his very toes. It was over. It was clear to anyone watching. Even Rizevim had to know he had no chance of winning.
I had broken him, body and soul.
I suppose… it's time for the finishing blow.
I raised my hand toward him. But then—
"Uhi… uhi-hi-hi-hi…"
Rizevim let out a revolting, high-pitched giggle. His battered shoulders shook as he laughed like a man who had finally lost his mind.
I looked at him with suspicion, but he just smirked.
"Yeah, I lost. I'm no match for you. Uncle Rizevim gives up. But… you see…"
Rizevim looked down—directly at Agreas below us. And then—
He began a vertical dive!
That bastard… No way!
My worst intuition was right. As he plummeted, he generated multiple massive orbs of magic—each at least fifty meters in diameter.
"Uhihi… Hyah-hah-hah-hah! Red Dragon Emperor! If I can't kill you, I'll just erase your friends! I'll wipe this whole island off the map!"
What a sore loser! He couldn't beat me, so he went for everyone else?!
Then, Ignis spoke.
"But you know it's a futile struggle, right?"
Yeah. What Rizevim was doing was nothing more than a pathetic death rattle. Because I could feel them. Those two were already on their way.
Rizevim prepared to fire the magic that would incinerate Agreas, his vulgar laughter echoing through the sky.
In that instant—a colossal torrent of light, a mix of black and white, erupted from below. The brilliance was absolute, swallowing Rizevim without mercy.
The ones who fired that blast were…
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Big Brother!"
"Our timing was perfect, wasn't it?"
Miu, looking like a dark heavenly maiden, and Alice, looking like a Seraph with golden wings. The two of them, having activated their Pseudo-Deification, flew up to join me.

The two of them turned as red as apples, fidgeting shyly in the air.
