Chapter 55 - 3V3

Lucan's punch stops mere inches from Max's face, his fist frozen in mid-air as if hitting an invisible wall. His eyes widen in shock and disbelief. He tries to pull his arm back but finds it stuck, unable to move even a millimeter closer to Max. "Impossible..."

"Very possible." He hit him in the face again with a black flash.Lucan's head snaps back from the force of Max's hit, blood spraying from his nose. He stumbles backwards, his legs giving out beneath him. He falls to his knees, his hands pressed against the cave floor to support himself.

"You feeling sick and woozy right now aren't you and you're probably wondering why I mean you're a Viltrumite two punches shouldn't do that to you."

Lucan looks up at Max, his vision swimming. The dizziness is overwhelming, worse than anything he's ever experienced. He tries to focus on Max's face but it's blurred and spinning. "What... what did you do to me?" He gasps out, blood trickling from his nose and mouth. His powerful Viltrumite physiology should be able to withstand so much more.

"Sure, your body can take a lot but your soul your soul is very very weak. You see when I'm hitting you. I'm hitting you at your soul and whatever damage your soul takes, your body takes too."

Lucan's eyes widen in realization and fear. He's heard stories about beings who can attack the soul, but he never believed they existed. "You're... you're attacking my core essence?" He tries to stand but his legs give out completely, forcing him to stay on his knees.

"Pretty much goodbye." He said, using dismantle to cut Lukins's chest open its guts, pulling out as he goes to the floor.

Lucan's mouth opens in a silent scream as Max rips into his chest, pulling out steaming organs. He feels each tear of flesh and each removal of an internal organ like a physical blow to his soul. This isn't just dying - this is being unmade from the inside out.Nolan arrives just in time to see Max finish his dismantle Lucan's body, the Viltrumite's organs lying in a gruesome pile on the cavern floor. He stares at the scene, taking in the destruction with a mix of horror and awe. "Max..." he says softly,

"yes, I could've done this to you on earth I chose not to. You're welcome."

Nolan's expression hardens, the implication of Max's words sinking in. He knows Max is powerful enough to have done the same to him, and the fact that he chose not to is a clear warning. "I see," he says gruffly, looking away from Lucan's remains. "You've made your point."

Marcy stumbles back into the cavern, one hand pressed to her temple where Lucan had hit her. She blinks rapidly, trying to clear her vision as she takes in the gruesome sight of Lucan's dismantled body and Max standing over it. "What happened?" she asks weakly.

"Doesn't matter I'm guessing they're three more."

Nolan nods solemnly, his eyes scanning the cavern entrance. "You're right. Lucan wasn't acting alone. There are at least three more Viltrumites out there, probably waiting for a signal from him." He turns to Marcy, concern etched on his face. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Marcy replies distractedly, still trying to process the scene before her. "Max, how...?" She trails off, gesturing vaguely at Lucan's remains. "You didn't even break a sweat." She looks at Nolan. "He's a monster,"

"Marcy, these guys I'm going to kill you if you're not trying to kill them you will die. This is not like on earth. This is the one time you can cut loose. Stop holding yourself back because if you don't, you will die you understand."

Marcy swallows hard, nodding slowly as she takes in Max's words. She's never seen him like this - brutal and deadly serious. It scares her a little, but she knows he's right. She looks down at her hands, realizing they're shaking.

"you don't have to come with us, but I would recommend you do because If you fight them well enough get some serious hits in. They would probably leave you alone for a while after that seeing as how you proved your strength."

Marcy bites her lip, considering Max's advice. She knows she's not as strong as him, but she's not weak either. If she can put up a decent fight, it might be enough to earn her some respect from the Viltrumites. She nods decisively.

"I'm glad you understand but before we leave, I need to do something real quick. He quickly perform the ten shadows technique and summoned is two divine dogs Blitz and ace, they both appeared humanoid. "Blitz Ace protect this cave while we're gone."

The two divine dogs appear instantly, their humanoid forms towering over the cavern entrance. Blitz's form is sleek and agile, with sharp features and glowing blue eyes that seem to hold an endless storm within them. Ace is more muscular and imposing, his red eyes burning like embers.

Blitz and Ace bow deeply to Max, their voices echoing through the cavern with an otherworldly resonance. They position themselves at either side of the entrance, their figures shrouded in shadows that seem to dance with an unseen power.

"OK, let's go." Said Max as the three of them blasted out of the cave.

As soon as they exit the cave, three figures materialize out of thin air - the remaining Viltrumites. They land heavily on the ground, creating small craters with their impact. The largest one, obviously the leader, crosses his arms and sneers at the trio.

The blonde Viltrumite cracks his knuckles menacingly while the female one twirls her weapon-like crown, the sharp spikes at the ends glinting dangerously in the sunlight. The leader speaks first, his voice booming. "I see you've killed Lucan."

"Actually, I did quite easily."

The leader's face contorts with anger at Max's nonchalant statement. The blonde Viltrumite grows impatient and charges at Max, throwing a powerful punch intended to send him flying. Meanwhile, the female Viltrumite raises her crown weapon, ready to strike if Max dodges the punch.

The blonde Viltrumite's fist freezes mere inches from Max's face, held back by the invisible force of Infinity. His eyes widen in surprise and a little fear. Even the leader looks taken aback. The female Viltrumite lowers her crown slightly, reassessing the situation.

Marcy surprises everyone by suddenly lunging at the female Viltrumite, tackling her to the ground. The woman grunts in surprise, clearly not expecting such aggressive behavior from someone who looks human. Meanwhile, Nolan engages the blonde Viltrumite in hand-to-hand combat.

The leader steps forward, a confident smirk on his face as he faces Max alone. He's taller and more muscular than Max, with cold blue eyes that glare intensely. Without warning, he launches himself at Max, throwing a powerful punch. "Let's see how strong you really are."

The leader's punch meets Max's arm, and the impact is shocking. The armament haki and black flash combine to create a massive explosion of energy, sending the leader flying backward with incredible force. He slams into the ground, a crater forming beneath him.

"Max floats above him. " Is that the best you got?"

The leader struggles to push himself up, his chest heaving as he glares at Max. He can't believe the human has such power. His pride is wounded, and he's determined to prove himself. "You're strong," he snarls, "but you're not invincible."

"I know I'm just better than you and your stupid species."

The leader's face turns red with anger and embarrassment at Max's insult. He roars and charges at Max again, this time using his Viltrumite speed and strength to their fullest. He swings his massive fists, aiming to crush Max's skull. "You'll pay for that insolence!"Max easily dodges the attack And hit him in the gut.

The leader staggers back, clutching his stomach where Max's punch landed. He can feel his insides shifting, the pain radiating outward. He's never been hit so hard, so cleanly. It's humiliating. "Damn it," he mutters through gritted teeth. Max starts hitting him in the face repeatedly with black flashes. The leader's head snaps back with each blow, black flashes erupting on impact. His face quickly becomes a bloody mess, bones crunching audibly. He can't even block the attacks, Max's speed and power overwhelming him completely. After several hits, his eyes roll back and he collapses unconscious. He was about to finish him. We heard her scream, turning to see Marcy with a small hole in her chest.Max's heart stops when he sees Marcy's injury, a surge of panic and rage flooding through him. He races over, his eyes filled with fury. The female Viltrumite is crumpled on the ground, her jaw shattered and face swollen. Nolan is standing protectively over Marcy, his expression grim.

The scene descends into chaos. Lucan, despite his mortal injuries, somehow managed to crawl back and ambush Nolan. With a sickening crack, Nolan's spine breaks under the force of Lucan's kick. He cries out in pain and collapses beside Marcy. The female Viltrumite is still down, but Lucan now stands over Nolan, grinning sadistically. " it's done." he said, tapping a button on his sleeve as he falls to the ground.

Max's hands tremble as he checks Marcy's pulse, relief washing over him when he feels a weak but steady beat. Her wound is severe—blood pouring from the hole in her stomach—but she's alive. Nolan lies unconscious nearby, his back broken and twisted at an unnatural angle.

He was about to heal Marcy when the wind picked up. He turned his head upwards seeing a Viltrumite ship.

The ship descends rapidly, kicking up debris and wind. More Viltrumites are emerging from the cargo hold, at least a dozen of them, all massive and powerful. They land on the ground, forming a semi-circle around Max, their expressions ranging from angry to curious.

The newest arrivals survey the destruction - broken bodies of their comrades, the leader unconscious with a battered face, Lucan dying from his own injuries. One of them, a burly male with a robot eye eye, steps forward. " my name is General kregg."General Kregg nods curtly at Max, his mechanical eye scanning the scene before settling on Marcy's injured form. "You are the one who did this?" he asks, gesturing to the fallen Viltrumites. His voice is deep and commanding, carrying an air of authority that demands respect.

"Lucan's injuries yes the leader that's unconscious yes but the other two no."

General Kregg's mechanical eye emits a low hum as it processes this information. He turns to the two uninjured Viltrumites beside him—one male, one female—both of whom look exceptionally angry and eager for revenge. "Kill the human," he orders coldly. "Slowly."

"Domain expansion, infinite void."It traps targets in an endless pocket dimension where they are flooded with an infinite amount of universal knowledge, instantly paralyzing them.

The two Viltrumites charge at Max, but before they can reach him, his domain expands. A dark void suddenly envelops them, swallowing them whole. Their eyes widen in shock and confusion as they find themselves trapped in an endless expanse of darkness. Universal knowledge floods their minds simultaneously.

Max reaches into a shadow, pulling out the soul, cutting sword, and as a little warning, he cuts both of them in the chest, leaving X marks as he lowers his domain.

The two Viltrumites stumble out of the void, their chests marked with deep X-shaped cuts. Blood pours from the wounds, staining their uniforms red. They're clearly disoriented and weakened from the sudden influx of universal knowledge. General Kregg's mechanical eye widens in surprise at this display of power.

"listen, Well, I'm most definitely Powerful enough to defeat all of you I can't do that while protecting others so I will allow you to take Nolan but only if you leave this planet and never come back."

General Kregg pauses, his mechanical eye scanning Max critically. The human's power is clear—he could've killed his soldiers easily but chose not to. Instead, he offers a bargain. "You would let us take Nolan... if we leave this planet forever?" he repeats, voicing the proposal flatly.

"yes, as a general, you should know when you're facing a superior opponent, but I'm guessing you've never had to face someone like me before have you?"

"No," General Kregg admits gruffly, "I've never faced anyone like you before." He looks around at his battered troops, then back at Max. "You could have destroyed us all, but you haven't. Why?" He genuinely wants to understand this human's mercy.

"if you knew what I knew You do the same thing so take him and leave."

General Kregg nods slowly, realizing Max is showing them mercy because he understands something fundamental about Viltrumite nature. "We will take Nolan and leave this planet," he agrees formally. "And we will never return." He orders his soldiers to pick up Nolan's unconscious form carefully.

The Viltrumites begin to retreat, carrying Nolan's limp body with them. General Kregg pauses at the edge of the battlefield and turns back to Max one last time. "Your name," he demands suddenly. "What is your name?" His mechanical eye glints with a newfound respect and curiosity.

"Call me sorcerer."

"Sorcerer," General Kregg repeats approvingly, the name fitting for Max's mysterious and powerful abilities. "I will remember you, Sorcerer." With that, he turns and about to leave, but he stops. " when the girl wakes up, tell her this she is to prepare your planet for Viltrumite rule we will send someone to check on progress and I know this probably doesn't appeal to you or her but think of it this way either you both conquer the planet and kill a few humans or we come and kill millions." he said flying away

Max watches the Viltrumite ship disappear into the sky, his mind racing with thoughts. He turns back to Marcy, who is still unconscious but stable. General Kregg's parting words echo in his mind—a chilling reminder of the Viltrumites' brutal nature and their expectation of compliance.
