The demon emperor noted that if his calculation were indeed correct, then the next summoning ritual was soon to follow, but he won't be able to witness it when it happens .
He will be back in the Real World, he calculated that the Shard now had enough of the green energy to start another cycle, but it was wary of the outsiders that kept popping up one after the other, so it will wait a few more years as to confirm that they left, before it began to start another cycle .
That means that the probability of it making any movement on a short period of time was most likely zero, there was zero chance that it will made any movements, if there wasn't any need for it to do so .
The demon emperor understood that his original plan once again wasn't able to cope with the new variables, so he took a reckless approach by implementing quite a reckless plan, one that if went wrong, could leave him confronting the Shard head on, but this time there would be no way for him to escape like the previous time, no this time he will be completely eradicated from this land .
But if it were to succeed, not only the demon race will be able to freely roam this land, no they will be able to rule it from behind the shadows, enabling more and more of the demon race to benefit from the huge amount of resources here and make the demon race get ahead of all the other races .
But he will first have to contact that monster named Devo, he will allow him to finally let loose as he have always wanted to .
The thoughts of the demon emperor was like " if you decided not to make a move, then we will force you to make a move ", he will take advantage of the bloodthirsty monster named Devo and make him act as if the demon king have been revived, then he will suggest that the king shall send a group of scouts to confirm those rumors .
He will then use his influence on the noble from behind the scenes and incite dissatisfaction between them and towards the king, making the whole kingdom crumbled due to the struggle of power that will occur .
Allowing the false demon king to began wrecking havoc around the area under the kingdom's jurisdiction and focus more clearly on the cities that might affect the interests of the Nobles, deepening the dissatisfaction towards the king and the kingdom even more, in that time the demon emperor will volunteer to lead the army and go to the war with the demon king, since he was the man hailed as the hero after all .
He will make the demon king retreat from some of the lands he was terrorizing, gaining more and more momentum and raising his position in the herats of people even more, the lands that will be left to the new fake demon king will be the ones that belonged to the Nobles .
The reason was that he wanted them to come ask him for help, otherwise the stalemate will continue and their losses will begin to simultaneously accumulate as well, taking such a step normally would have a bad impact on his relations with the Nobles, it might even turn them from friends to enemies, but the circumstances will negate that possiblity from happening .
The already made gap between the crown and the Noble's houses under the king will begin to widen even more, enough so that the need of a new king instead of the current incompetent one will rise .
When that happens the demon emperor will become one of the few contenders for the throne, together with the other noble's houses, when the conflict of interests arose then the final words will be left for the people to say, at one side the Nobles who will do things that benefit them, completely disregarding of what kind of misery they might be unleashing on the head of the common people .
On the other side, a Hero who had wholeheartedly served them and was known for his humility and his great feats, the answer couldn't have been more clearer than that .
But the dangerous part of this plan will start after the demon emperor get coronated as the new king of the kingdom, the Nobles will be completely wary of each step he take, some might even directly hire assassin to kill both him and his wife the queen, so the next step would be a complete reformation of the Nobles, by either convincing them to cooperate or force them into doing so .
Using their Involvement in dethroning the previous king, the demon emperor will be able to convince the people of the importance of such a step, no he will spread some of the dark secrets he knew about all of the noble houses in the kingdom, forcing some of the common people to be the ones who ask for such a reformation .
All of these will be no more than excuses that he will create for the sake of forcing the Nobles to submit to him and get rid of all the arrogance of theirs and force them to lower their heads to him, either that or the whole family might find themselves all sentenced to die overnight, the continues loss of their income will force more and more of their followers away, making them become more vulnerable to all sort of ridicule and the scorn of the common people, giving them more reason to comply and it was all thanks to the demon king still occupying what could be said to be their treasured lands .
By also asking the monster Devo to increase his attacks from time to time, this will increase the number of people wanting the reformation as fast as possible thinking that by getting rid of those Nobles who were creating internal strife, the kingdom will once more be able to repell the demon king .
The Nobles who surrender will be enslaved directly by the demon emperor putting his seal in their mind and those who won't will be also dealt with accordingly .
The plan went as the demon emperor wanted, but something fascinating and unexpected happen, the land suddenly began to expand in size and the outskirts of the land that was covered by that dangerous fog, its fog began to recede back a bit, forcing the demon emperor to send scouts as to see what was going on in that particular piece of land .
The results is that he discovered the existence of two new species other than the humans and those other magical creatures who existed in that lands, one of those two races appeared to be quite primitives, but there strength was very strong, they called themselves Elves .
The other race called themselves dwarves, but unlike the Elves even though the dwarves lived in a volcano, they were able to harness the volcano magma and established a self sustaining community for themselves and even chose a leader to lead them, if there was a need to .
The two races seemed to be unbothered by the scouts coming and going, some began to come over to the kingdom following the path that the scouts have taken, the dwarves have their volcano and the Elves have their Mother Tree a sentinel spirit being that was actually a Ruler level powerhouse, its appearance irritated the demon emperor, thinking that it was one of the countermeasure that the Shard came up with, but seeing that the two races weren't going around looking for problems, the demon emperor decided to speed the implementation of his plan a bit without giving the two peaceful races anymore thought, thinking that he should stick to his plan instead of wasting more time than needed, but his monster comrade thought differently .
Just as the demon emperor become the new king of the kingdom which had its name changed to Lantra, his monster comrade said that he wanted his help in dealing with the two races, he put this as a term needed to continue their cooperation .
But the demon emperor wondered why was he so intent on doing that and the answer he got from the monster race was a bit vague, he said that it was related to the target he have in coming here .
The demon emperor remembered that the monster race came to acquire the Shard, but he wasn't able to understand why would the appearance of the two races be of any help, they did made a sudden disappearance out of that weird fog, but the demon emperor was already have a guess about that, especially after noticing the land sudden expansion, when he asked what the monster named Devo wanted his help with, the monster said that he wanted to actually eradicate the two races and like the demon emperor, he wanted to see how the Shard would react to this happening .
If before he would vote in favor of such a plan, but after sensing the energy signature of that sacred tree of the elves, he was completely against taking such a reckless move, but the monster first thought that the demon emperor was just unwilling to help him, so he too refused to do any more works for the demon emperor and left without saying another word and before hearing the warning about that Mother Tree being dangerous, but him stopping to act as the demon king at this point was pointless, after all the demon emperor had already finished dealing with the Nobles, at least dealing with the rest of them .
Only two of the noble families survived, the others decided to perish, the moment they heard about the seal that will be carved in their mind and the demon emperor granted their wishes .
A month later, the monster named Devo came once more to meet with the demon emperor, but this time his whole body was filled with scars and injuries, many of them appeared to be quite severe .
The demon emperor didn't even need to ask to know that Devo had gone and challenged the Mother Tree and he lost badly, but he then noticed that his stomach had the most gruesome wound, he asked him to explain what happened .
He said that he was plotted against by the Shard, the tree was indeed powerful than him, but its movements were still a bit restricted, so if kept his distance, it won't be able to hurt him much, but the moment he attacked, he found that an eyeball appeared on top of the tree and a beam suddenly came out of it and pierced his abdomen, completely crushing the Mana Core of his and that if he was correct, he only had 100 years to live, if nothing happened .
The demon emperor wasn't able to say anything to him in consolidation, he know how severe was the effect of losing Mana Core, but it was also a quite clear indication of how tenacious the demon race was .
If that were to happened to a demon not to mention a few days, he will die instantly from the raging Mana inside of him .
The demon emperor asked him about what will he do from now on, the monster named Devo said that if he were to go back like this, then the only end waiting for him would be death, either by the hands of his father or his brothers and sisters and he would most likely stay in this land for the rest of his life .
The demon emperor wasn't able to refute his way of thinking, since he knew of the intense competition for hagemony in the monster race, especially between the children of the emperor of monsters .
The monster was at loss of what to do, so the demon emperor decided to take advantage of him being in this state and told him that he had a plan that if it was to succeed, he will be bathing in an eternal glory back in the real world, even if he himself might not be able to witness it .
The monster looked warily at the words of the demon emperor at first, but seeing that there was no much of an alternative course of action he could make, he agreed to listen to what the demon emperor wanted him to do .
He was a bit taken aback after hearing the job that the demon emperor had for him, he was taken aback due to the fact that the job the demon emperor asked him to do was to actually resume his work as a demon king, but instead of causing havoc, he will be massacring most of the kingdom but this wasn't to be done now .
No, this is to be done after the demon emperor return back to the Real World and 7 years later from the day he leave, the demon named Devo can start massacring all the the people of the kingdom, in addition to any human he can find .
The demon emperor hoped that this will be the last adjustment he is forced to make to his initial plan, he wanted to see the results of his plan, but the new maneuver of that damn Shard will force him to wait a lot more years than intended and with the monster being discovered and most likely identified as an outsider by the Shard, it will be even more on guard from now on, but he determined that if he wasn't able to see the results of his plan, then he will just have to wait and see the effects of that plan of his .
He mentioned the layout of his plan to the demon king and arranged the steps he will need to take and the choices he will need to make, if his plan worked without an issue, both the demon race and the monster race will be able to have a firm footing in this land, the monster once again agreed to do everything in his power to make sure that the plan implemented successfully .
The plan of the demon emperor was still to force the Shard to summon heroes and if he were to get the summoning ritual of the heroes that would have been even better, but with the Shard actions, he understood that a quite considerable amount of time was needed for it to loosen its guard a bit, time that the demon emperor won't be able to wait for .
So instead he entrusted the monster Devo with the waiting and he will see how will it goes, he believed that 7 years from when he leave this land, the Shard will be able to gain a huge amount of green energy that should allow it to summon heroes if there was a need to do so, creating that need would be the monster job, but his job won't be done yet, it will only start .
If the demon emperor calculations were correct then the amount of heroes that will be summoned to this land will at least be three or more, when he was asked by the monster named Devo to explain more on why did he believed that .
The demon emperor answer was that it if not for the Ruler level Mother Tree, the numbers of heroes will be two or even one, then explained what he discovered about the green energy and that it was very possible to think that the Shard will increase the numbers of heroes in try of gaining more of that green energy in this cycle, but one of his tasks will be to make sure that the demon king of this cycle is dealt with, but he will need to wait for the heroes to arrive before he deal with the demon king .
Then he told the monster to gather an army during that period of time and start raiding cities with his army of monsters, when the time is ripe, when he was able to take hold of one or two of the said heroes, he was then tasked with creating the first settlement for demons by enslaving the heroes and using their blood as before to open the portal leading to the Real World .
He told him to be aware of his surroundings all the time and that he shouldn't make any more reckless moves at least he will need to wait for other demons or monsters before doing anything dangerous .
The monster named Devo was then asked to hand his blood medal in, the reason that the demon emperor gave was, firstly he will have no need for it on this side and secondly was that his wife Yulina was expecting and he felt that there were some hidden danger surrounding the boy in her stomach, so he will return with her to the demon world using that medal in Devo hands .
The monster appeared to have no problems with that and handed the medal to the demon emperor right away, after revising the plan with him time after time and making sure that he carved every piece of it on his mind, the two began conversing about some of the unfavorable situation that might arise, like the current one for example where the Shard used the green energy to expand the land under its influence a bit more and the appearance of two new races and that huge Mother Tree .
The demon emperor was saying that it was quite impossible for something like that to happened if there was no accident, but in the case of something like this happening, he will need to wait a year or two before begining to implement the plan, or getting new orders from him with the demons that will keep arriving to this land .
The demon emperor finally decided that the next course of action after he went back was to seize control of the entire demon race, willing to use force if needed, he stated that from here on out the demons that will be sent here will be demons of young age, everything that will be needed for their growth will be sent with them, as they will be sent here to stay not like the previous time .
They will be Devo's responsibility and he was supposed to do both supervising them and teaching and directing them, the demon emperor also mentioned that the younglings will held new orders for him if something wrong happened with the plan or if any delay were to happen .
After 9 months the demon emperor left this land and went back to the Real World, his departure marked the beginning of his plan, a plan that will be responsible for so much bloodshed and misery on the people of this land .
