The demon emperor then take it upon himself to relay a massage to the monster emperor on behalf of Devo, he also got a few pieces of information from Devo as to be able to present them as a proof and to increase the viability of his story, after all backstabbing was normal back in the Real World, then the demon emperor gave his last orders and disappeared .
Before he left he ordered Devo to massacre a few human villages and collect all of their blood, he did so as a precaution to having one more person in his way home, even if that one more person was just a fetus at the moment, he didn't want to take risky moves, one that might turn all his work to nothing .
After Devo prepared everything for him, the demon emperor left through the rapture in the wicked forest and asked Devo to keep surveiling the other rapture and try to make sure that it doesn't heal, meaning to keep providing it with blood every now and then and the demon emperor gave him the permission to massacre an approximate amount of humans or any of the other races to keep it open .
The monster asked for the reason to why there was a need to do that, but the demon emperor only told him that it was needed for the future of the demon race in the future and will allow the monster to keep a close eye on the Shard and its movements .
The demon emperor left this land while still having no clue about how the monster race will achieve the goal of acquiring the Shard and for what exact reason they wanted it for, he was till the day he left oblivious to what the Shard even was and he was certain that even if he asked the current submissive Devo, he want answer him truthfully, so he just left at that and decided that he will directly ask the monster emperor if a chance arose when he go back .
The demon emperor was asked one last question by Devo when he departed and that question was about Yulina the emperor human wife knowing anything about this plan of his, the demon emperor answered and said that Yulina knew of him being a Demon, she also knew where we are going, but she knew nothing about his plans, she think that we will go to some kind of an adventure and that we will comeback .
He remembered something that he missed to mention before thanks to the question of the monster, Devo will also be tasked with barging into the kingdom capital and the royal palace and act as if he killed both of the king and the queen, allowing the new king to be chosen from the two families under his commands, he wasn't sure if the seal he put on their mind will work after he cross to the other side, so he told Devo to use his own means to have them stay in check .
A day after the demon emperor left, Devo began to implement the objectives he was tasked with, he head to the kingdom capital and wrecked havoc in the city before reaching the royal palace, he went inside of the king and queen champer, ignoring the wailing of the maids and the glaring looks the guards kept on giving him, they felt powerless against this monstrous opponent, so all they could do was to glare at him and wait for help or the arrival of their king to deal with that guy .
The monster entered the room and directly sprayed its walls with blood, then he left the castle and went to the Wicked Forest to start establishing his new army .
He kept his lair in the center of the Wicked Forest, he was forced to stay at the swamp due to him deciding that it will be better to stay as far away as he can from those dangerous zones, still having a linger fear from his last encounter with the Shard, so to be on the safe side he decided that the swamp will be his operation center until he establish a footing for himself, the settlement he was tasked with creating, after putting the layout for what he needed to do in going forward, came the period of waiting .
Back in the Real World, the demon emperor return this time brought a lot more surprises than what was anticipated, he returned with a woman and a pregnant human woman at that, his monster comrade was nowhere to be seen, not to mention he only took almost close to two years to come back, even though he was tasked by the Ruler level great elder to stay at least three years this time .
The news of his returning circled around the section and went beyond towards the monster race section, the demon emperor came himself in a hurry and like a storm wanting to make sense of what was going on, he tried to hold the Demon Emperor by the throat, but he found that he was like in a different space than him and wasn't able to reach him or the woman quivering behind him, but he understood that the guy in front of him must have gotten a lot stronger in this short period of time and made some huge progress, but that made the demon emperor more angry, thinking that the explosive increase in strength might be related to the disappearance of one of his sons, the most loyal son he had .
Seeing that there was no point in attacking, the monster emperor calmed down a little and told the demon emperor to start explaining .
The demon emperor confirmed with the monster emperor if the information he had can be discussed so openly here, the monster emperor then snapped his finger and the whole area around them turned dark and silent, then he once again asked the Demon Emperor to say what he wanted to say, the demon emperor then began by telling him what happened to Devo after recklessly attacking the mother tree and being plotted against by the Shard .
The monster emperor cursed his son after he heard that, saying that he was an idiot for doing such a reckless move, the demon emperor waited for his outburst to end and then continued to say that he tasked Devo with a mission that if it was to be done correctly, the monster race might be able to get hold of the Shard they wanted so much .
The monster emperor asked the demon emperor what exactly that plan of his, but the demon emperor retorted with asking what the monster race wanted to do with the Shard, the two parties then looked at each other and both stayed silent, the demon emperor was the first to break the silence, giving a bit of information about his plan .
The monster emperor listened and after the demon emperor finished talking he nodded and was about to take his leave, but then the demon emperor told him that he wanted to ask him for something which stopped the monster emperor in his tracks and he turned to look at the demon emperor again .
The thing that he wanted to ask the monster emperor for was to keep the quota of going to this land back to the demon race, the monster emperor wanted to refuse, but remembering the words that the demon emperor spoke about them having to wait for even 10 years before being able to come in contact with the Shard, the monster emperor thought about it for a moment then he agreed on one condition, this will be only for the next two journeys and after that the demon race must hand the designated qouta to the monster race as before .
And even before the demon emperor refuse or agree, the darkness surrounding them vanished and the monster race was nowhere to be seen anymore, wondering why he was in such a hurry to leave, a demon told him that a year after he left a war started between the monster race and the the Bloodlords race due to a member of the monster race killing a member of the Bloodlords race, when they came to ask for retribution, one of the dull minded people actually dared to disgrace the Bloodlord and called them vampires .
The Bloodlords asked for the one that have said such an insolent comment to be put to death, normally that would have been quite an easy decision for the monster emperor to make, but the the one who insulted the Bloodlord race, just happened to be one of the monster emperor sons, complicating things even more, the two races have emperors in their ranks, so if a war to start the whole realm will turn chaotic, the monster emperor tried to appease the Bloodlord by offering them a few sources of resources and even ordering the son of his to bow down and apologize, but the Bloodlords were intent on taking revenge, so that's why the war had started, for such a pitiful reason the Bloodlords raged a war against the monsters, and that was the reason for why that monster emperor was in such a hurry to return .
The demon emperor shuddered a bit remembering his encounter with the Bloodlord he met in this land, wondering what will be the reaction of the Bloodlords if they knew that he killed one of their own, will they demand a compensation or will they directly rage war against the demon race, feeling a bit threatened by that thought, he finally decided that he need to hurry up and finish doing what he needed to do to unite the demon race under him .
The demon emperor also felt thankful to the current turn of events, he expected that he will be met with the wrath of the monster emperor or his blatant refusal, but luckily this didn't happen, he didn't even check to see whether was the demon emperor telling the truth or just fabricating things up nor he asked him to provide a proof, even though he already had a proof in hand, he was thankful to the circumstances, that made all things go better than he expected .
Two days later, the demon emperor had settled in with his wife, he kept checking his wife for any abnormalities that might apper on her from time to time, he went out of his way and bought tens of human maids to take care of her and told them to notice him the moment anything weird happening .
He began to hand over the gains of this trip to the elders so that they can begin distributing them between the families, the elders first tried to refuse saying that they needed to be checked by the great elder first, but the demon emperor told them that he will take responsibility for this matter and ask the forgiveness of the elder later, they were still a bit hesitant, but when the demon emperor mentioned the loot this time being much greater than the previous trip, all their hesitation disappeared, they even pulled the spatial equipment directly of his hand and began to distribute the loot among themselves .
My father didn't fund this expedition, so he didn't waste his time standing there and he followed the demon emperor steps and got out of the hall, when i asked him about why he didn't fund the expedition, he told that their was no need for our family to join this muddled water for a meager amount of gain that wasn't even needed, our family already won enough wealth from the gamble my father previously made, so there was really no need for our family to indulge in such a thing, but all the other families looked at us with scorn due to all of them participating in the funding but not us, some thought that we might have a malicious intent in doing so, but those who thought like that were envying us, so my dad paid them no mind .
He then met with the demon emperor outside of the hall and had a chat with him, the chat actually started with the demon emperor chuckling and ridiculing the elders actions, my dad also agreed with him that the actions of the elders, waiting for the grand elder to check, they said .
Check what, weren't they just afraid of the great elder punishing them, if they were to allocate the loot without him being exist, but now that the demon emperor said that he will shoulder the blame, they had no more such fears, both the two guys still remembered how he came and took the spatial equipment that were in the demon emperor hands and then he vanished without giving any explanation to the people or even checking on the unconscious demon emperor at that time .
Even though more Rulers powerhouses were beginning to appear in the clan, all the real authority was still in the hands of the great elder even with the existence of the great council, the final say in any and every matter was still up to the whim of the great elder, he will also always get the lion share of any gain that came into the demon race pocket, no matter whether he contributed or not, those were his privileges due to being the one with the strongest combat prowess in the entire demon race, but that was no longer the case, seeing that both shsred the same dissatisfaction toward the current system, the demon emperor thought of my father as an ally .
Their conversation subject then changed to the demon emperor telling my father about how his journey went, due to the familiarity they had with each other, the demon emperor even told my father about his plan of creating a settlement for demons on this land and his plan on how to do so, he told him almost everything, thinking that my father will welcome the thought and be on the same page as him, he even told him about the fact that he came back this time with the intention of challenging the great elder, my father was shocked when he heard that and wondered about what made him this confident about being able to succeed .
But then my dad remembered the rumors he heard about what happened before when the monster emperor came to intercept the demon emperor but the later was the one doing the interception and as he was contemplating on this, the demon emperor released his aura and made his strength level clear to my father, he made it clear that he was now at the level of the Ruler and my father noted that his aura was quite stable, meaning that he had already consolidated his strength and was able to adapt to his new strength and use it efficiently .
My dad was finally able to understand where his confidence came from, but it was also that same moment that made my dad revaluate the demon in front of him as ambitious, cunning and dangerous and the worst feeling he gave my father was him being untrustworthy, his plans were grand but was his ambition too, but my dad didn't try to dissuade him or anything, he wouldn't have been able to even if he wanted to .
He at that time thought that fortunately the great elder want into a retreat in one of his hideouts and no one know where those hideouts were, leaving my father more time to decide what kind of action should he make, my father didn't end up being allay as the demon emperor thought, instead he became an enemy, but the demon emperor was so engrossed in his fantasizes at that time to notice that .
They parted ways after exchanging a few more words, then my father excused himself and returned back to the family home, telling himself that he need to get stronger as well, at least get enough strength to be able to force that guy to retreat, if a conflict between the two was to arise of course .
A few months after that, the human woman that the demon emperor brought with him, was still not have given birth yet, even though the duration of the pregnancy in the human race was maximum 10 or 11 months, but the woman was getting closer to the demon race pregnancy duration, convincing most of the Demons that the woman will indeed give birth to a demon as she had been pregnant for over two years now, but she still wasn't in labor .
The demon emperor seeing that the great elder hadn't still came back even after this long period of time, he had no choice but to postpone his plan a bit, but the circumstances forced him to carry on with his plan, these circumstances was the arrival of the Bloodlord race, even though they should have been still fighting against the monster race and both parties and even parties that weren't even involved, all suffered devastating damage to their ranks, but neither one of the two parties was willing to bow his head to the other side and ending this war once and for all .
A 4 years after he came back to the Real World, the entire section where the demon race lived in was shaking due to hearing a loud roar coming from the sky above them, a huge black dragon one that was even more massive than the one the demon emperor previously saw in this land came to their race doorstep, it was an abyssal black dragon, one that have quite the reputation in the realm as the mount of the Emperor powerhouse on the Bloodlords side, he also had another special identity that to those who knew about it quite a difficult to swallow special identity .
But the surprises didn't end here, no they only just begun, even before the Bloodlord state their business in coming here, the earth beneath all the demons shook and a huge pressure forced all of the weak-willed demons to be put on their knees, then the monster emperor made an appearance .
The scene was too chaotic for my father and the other demons to comprehend, was the section they lived in chosen to be the final battlefield in the war between the two races, this chaos can't just be happening out of the blue, yes there must have been a reason for why the two fighting parties appeared simultaneously here in their Homeland, my dad told me that the demon emperor face when the Bloodlords appeared was quite ugly to look at, but it began to lighten up a bit after he saw the monster emperor arriving .
And that was how he concluded that whatever was happening, that guy most likely the cause of it .
