But it was the words about her might be dying soon was what hit me like a bolt of lightning, almost forcing me to go berserk, but after a few seconds, I was able to compose myself, even though it didn't last for long, my uneasy expression was still captured by many people here .
But they not knowing what might be going on with me nor able to read my thoughts hopefully, didn't dwell much on this and instead shifted their gaze from me to the other side of the table, mainly focusing on the two families that were in subordinate relationship with the Doreen family .
Ludo's family faction was mainly supported by the existence of the family head's wife, the mother of that guy Ludo and the fact that she came from the Spirit Race and her brother was even considered to be one of the experts there .
But with her now on brink of death, that meant bad news for all those who were in that faction, the reason was simple, the backing they might have gotten before from the Spirit Race out of that Marital relationship will most likely now com to an end .
The existence of the Spirit Race was the only thing that was holding back the Demon Emperor from attacking and most likely wiping that Doreen family, so now that this piller of support might be vanishing soon, it can only mean doom for the said family .
And those who were in faction with it, those two particular families that all the other members in the room were staring at, were targeted now for that particular reason .
Whether was the health problem of Ludo's mother really serious or not, the Demon Emperor will be able to gain something out of this situation, either making those guys change their minds and join him, leaving the Doreen family to fend itself without any support, or he might be targeting them to lower their morals, which will still most likely benefit him .
The two guys were struck deep by the words the Demon Emperor or Devo just said, their heart were shaking and their bodies were slightly shuddering as well, seeing them like this, I couldn't help but understand that those guys were already on the verge to be swayed, but whether Iike it or not, I can't afford to allow those guys to falter and the Demon Emperor to achieve his goal .
It wasn't out of consideration to Ludo nor the Doreen family, but it was in consideration of what that family was representing, weekend or not, they were still a rough rock to crack in the Demon Emperor's road and a thorn in his throat and I needed them to continue acting as such .
So it really wasn't that much of an option to let those guys surrender here, they can't have much of an option in that matter, I seeing that the king stopped talking and instead was staring at those two guys, like a hunter watching a prey, he was waiting for those guys to answer, either by talking or by making any kind of gestures, that would be enough for him .
After all, he can't just talk about things like this in public, no matter how strong was his backer, this was a Demon society, blatant treasonous acts, like the ones that most likely to happen here can't be declared out in the open like that .
Seeing him so focused on staring at the two families, not only him but almost everyone present was doing the same as well, I coughed loudly, the moment my cough sounded, I was able to catch the attention of everyone present making them look towards me, seeing that they were focusing their attention on me, I said :
" It will be a big shocking news that could make some people change their fealty, but even though I had no doubt that the news from the Demon Emperor was real, I still don't think that it would still be completely certain that the wife of the Doreen family head was going to die because of this, it might be just a health problem that was quite easy to solve, I guess we will just have to wait for the upcoming news .
I gave my opinion and said what I had in mind, it was completely improvised, so it being lacking un some areas was a problem that I currently can't solve, what was done, was done after all .
But looking at the expressions of the two guys supporting the Doreen family and seeing the expressions on the other 12 families members, I understood that my work here was done and it seem that my words worked as I wished and intended .
I saw that the two guys expressions were now much more composed and calmer than before, the two were now more steady than before as they nodded at me and then remained silent .
I sensed the glaring eyes of the King falling on them then landing on me but other than coldly snorting, he didn't try to do anything else, seeing him like that, I wanted to make fun of him by laughing. But sensing that it might be pointless, I decided to just let go of that thought and instead focus on more important matters .
My words just now earned the approval of 4 to 5 members, that was already plenty, I made sure that I can be biased towards the Demon Emperor while also calming those two guys up by saying my speculation about this topic, it achieve my goal and went well than I had initially expected .
The other important matters that I needed to tend to now were mostly regarding the escaped heroine, I wanted to confirm the identity of the said heroine, so I directly continued to say, taking advantage of the fact that room currently fell into silent, I said :

As I heard that name being spouted out of his mouth, I couldn't help but be surprised a bit at this, but also a bit relieved, it took me some time to be able to remember the girl whose name was mentioned just now, it was the president of the school council back in our previous world, the girl had been assigned a powerful job, a Dragon Knight .
Yes, that was her job, I began to even recall her face a bit vaguely, I should have been able to remember her without much of a problem, but it seemed that what I'm currently suffering from was actually a side effect of using the Mental Energy swirling inside my brain .
It happened a few times before, but I paid it not much mind, but I was now able to clearly point the cause of this now out, I had taxed my Mental Strength and Energy a bit after activating my eyes, I would need some time to restore myself back to my peak state, until then, I would probably continue to suffer from this side effect .
I really need to began studying those techniques Ludo left me after finishing the matters at hand, or else I really might not be able to use those eyes of mine to their full extent, I was now relieved at the fact that Hana was safe, even if it was only for now, but my aim of rescuing that classmate of mine hadn't changed one bit .
