He hearing my words was more than stunned, I already had a clear understanding of how much he disliked this topic about him being a Monster who rule demons being mentioned, even if it was just slightly, I noted that in my mind after Luton had pointed that out before and now I was using it in a more provocative way against him .
And seeing how his expression darkened, I can tell that it was working like magic, in fact if I continue to press the matter a bit more, I believe that his composure might finally snap and then the reason that kept him from striking me would dissipate, giving me the best chance to teach him a lesson .

That guy stood up from his seat with a bit of hesitation and seemed to be quite guarded against me, he seemed to be quite terrified as well, he wasn't even looking at me as he said :
What kind of reward will you give those who can willingly hand over the girl to you, you would certainly show your appreciation to someone who did you a favor, right ? .
So that was what the King had come up with, trying to embarrass me by showing that I can't outbid him in terms of benefits that he can give those who who would go and do his bidding, it was a good strategy, but sadly it won't end up working as intended, after all, benefits and rewards were quite valuable to all the people here, training resources here weren't falling from the sky, but in the end, there was something that the monsters have neglected .
The Demon race valued strength the most, this was the concept that their society was build on and what made up most of their identity, the strong are respected, the weak are trampled upon, that was the one and only unwritten rule that all these Demons have accept, unfortunately for King Devo, I currently have enough strength, to render all his attempts futile .

The King and his supposed entourage who were amusingly looking at me, all had subtle change in their expressions, they were now frowning as they too had no clue about what might be happening next, but they all seemed to understand that whatever it was, it won't be something good for them .
The King this time didn't say a word, but he merely noded his head and that was him giving me an approval to speak .
" Well, what I'm offering here could be considered as a slap to the face of everyone here except the King, those who will help me with this matter, I won't be attacking them .
The second my words fell, the werewolf guy from before was the first one to surprisingly react, he directly fell into laughter, but his laughter only continued for 15 seconds, then he was forced to stay mute for the rest of the meeting .
The moment he laughed at my ridiculous words, I let him be at first, but then his unstoppable laughter seemed to be out of place here, so I blasted him with a punch that sent him flying through the walls, muting him completely, so I could be said to have helped him solve his laughing problem .
In less than a few seconds, he was hanged in the wall similar to the elder from the Levern Family and only after this took place, did the other guys here were finally able to wake up from their trance .
I looked at everyone present and was able to see that those who were ridiculing me before, were now completely dumbstruck and looking at me fearfully, I spared them a glance before I shifted my attention back to the other guy present .
I saw that their expressions were currently ugly to the extreme, but I had already warned them about how my words might sound to be, so I shouldn't be blamed after I had already warned them, the one whose expression was the most unsightly was still none other than the King Devo, that guy was currently staring at me with eyes that could kill, seeing him like this, I couldn't help but make eye contact with him .
Wondering what might his next move be, I heard him saying :
Could be considered as a slap to the face of everyone here except the king, should I feel honored or offended by this, do you mean to say that you aren't offending anyone here but me with those ridiculous words of yours, answer me .
The king seemed to have finally snapped, he yelled loudly as he said this, as I heard what he understood from my words, I couldn't help but shrugging my shoulders at his understanding internally, outwardly I didn't respond immediately, but waited for him to finish saying all he currently had in mind, trying to understand his intentions and whether he was willing to start a fight with me or not .
The results were disappointing, I expected that by now, he should have directly hopped to action, but instead I saw him merely turn his head towards the subordinate of his that was just sent flying, shook his head and turned to look at me, at this point, I completely understood that the guy in front if me will not respond to any of my provocation, realizing this, I almost launched the first strike out of frustration .
But in the end, I deemed it as unnecessary move, for now I will merely be focusing on finding that classmate of mine, the chances to get into a conflict with that man was still there, but for now I will just postpone it, instead I would be improving my ranking in the Demon race through another method .
