The barely still conscious Chronos tried to sit up only to be stopped by pain.
"I didn't ask for this either," Chronos shot back, voice half a growl, ears flat as he could barely maintain the semi-transformation. "You've got a complaint, take it up to the elephant in the room."
Thiago pursed his lips, took one look at Chronos's sorry self, and said, "You've gotten very rude in the time we haven't worked together."
"O-oh, p-please," Chronos said, heaving to the side.
"Stop talking!" Thiago hurriedly helped him.
Pete would like to talk some more and help too, but he was running out of time. No mecha pilots aside from Geron, who was also busy fighting, had the time to exploit the hole and enter the barrier. He had to buy some time to keep the enemies at bay.
THUD!
Thiago heard the huge, hurried stomps and shouted, "PETE! Where are you going?!"
THUD! THUMP!
Whether he heard or not, Pete continued his way to deter Salia.
PAWOOOO!!
