"Lord Kusuo, do you know who betrayed us?" Natsuhi asked, glancing at him.
Kusuo remained silent.
"If it's inconvenient for you to act, you can tell me. I'll help you," she said with a sincere smile.
But Kusuo didn't respond, only giving her a meaningful look. Her loyalty was now on full display, but he couldn't let her take such a risk so easily. With her current skills, surviving alone on the battlefield would not be easy.
"Don't think about these things for now. When the time is right, I will take you with me."
Hearing this, Natsuhi stuck out her tongue in dissatisfaction.
"Alright, let's rest here for a while," Kusuo said, having found a relatively hidden cave. Natsuhi didn't object and followed him inside. "Recover your chakra here. We'll set out again once you've adjusted."
Natsuhi waved her hands dismissively. "There's no need, Lord Kusuo." She genuinely didn't want to keep holding him back.
"It's fine. Restore your chakra first. Besides, there are too many enemy squads in the area right now. It wouldn't be convenient to move around with you."
Grumbling in frustration at her own weakness, Natsuhi sat down and began to meditate. In all their recent battles, although she had displayed immense power, it was always Kusuo who played the decisive role. She wished she could be as effective in a fight as he was.

Furthermore, Orochimaru and the Mizukage were now colluding, and he didn't know what they were plotting.
As Natsuhi meditated, Kusuo carefully observed the changes within her body. "I never thought the Star could modify a person's body to this extent." He could clearly sense that not only was her chakra recovering, but all her injuries were healing as well.
Several hours later, Natsuhi slowly opened her eyes. "Lord Kusuo, my injuries are fully healed. We can continue now." In her mind, completing Kusuo's mission was the top priority.
She expected him to get up and leave, but he just shook his head. "Not yet. Your body isn't fully recovered." Through his Transparent World, Kusuo could see the problem. While her external injuries and chakra were restored, her internal chakra pathways were still damaged. Most of the damage was a backlash from using her fire nature. "Why does her own fire still harm her?" he wondered, constantly thinking of a way to help her overcome this problem.
"Lord Kusuo, I can at least go out and clear the nearby scouts," Natsuhi offered, having just activated her Peacock Method and detected the numerous Anbu searching outside their cave.
"Stay put for now. It's better to hide here for a while. Although your body has mostly recovered, your current skill level is not enough to face so many Anbu alone." Kusuo knew that while Natsuhi was strong, these were highly trained shinobi whose coordination in battle was beyond what she could imagine. If she rushed out recklessly, she would certainly get hurt.
"Those Anbu outside are not only searching for us, some of them are responsible for relaying information back to the Land of Water," he explained. "If you are spotted, you must kill them before they can send a message. Many of them are at the elite jounin level. Are you confident you can kill them before they can report your position?"
