When Ars returned he was surprised to be welcomed by Nene, he could see by her face full of expectations that she had something to talk about.
When he approached her, she quickly started explaining why she was here.
"Your majesty, welcome back. I know your majesty just arrived but I have news of the kingdom, and building requests. I also need to understand why you're not starting to build decent houses and only build these small houses for now…"
Ars thought about it and he accepted the requests. Maybe it was time to show them the rest of his kingdom, not just the island but the other planet too.
"Tomorrow, gather everyone close to me, at my home, I will show you why I am delaying building the normal houses."
She nodded and then started introducing the new events in the kingdom, quite excitedly.
"To start with, from now on we have 3 extra villages in the kingdom all near the areas Julio found, one near the clay area, other in the stone and metal area, and finally one near the food area. And thanks to that we are now slowly getting clay, several different metals, the rocks we needed to construct some of the buildings that we wanted to build, and a lot of food, and some animal derived products."
Ars nodded and then added.
"So we became self-sufficient… "
Ars did want to become self-sufficient, but he didn't expect it to happen so soon, but Nene interrupted his thoughts.
"Almost, but in the case of ship building, we still need to get wood from the outside, some special materials also need to be imported from the outside."
Ars nodded, he decided to visit these new villages when he could. Then it was Ars turn to surprise Nene, he indicated her to follow, he moved towards Madam Mullberry, and when he arrived he introduced her to Nene.
"This lady here, was the queen of a fallen kingdom, and the people around her, some are her family and some are her entourage."
Madam Mulberry, introduced herself.
"I am queen…"
She stopped, realizing she wasn't a queen anymore, then she started introducing herself again but this time with a bit of sad humor.
"I guess I'm not a queen anymore, am I? Please, you can call me Logi, and I think I will work in teaching."
Nene introduced herself back at her.
"I'm Nene, I'm a city planner, and it's a pleasure to meet you."
Nene then looked at the rest of the people there, and added.
"Some of you seem uncomfortable, we will leave the rest of the introductions for later, for now I will show you your temporary new homes and the bathhouse, and I'm pretty sure some of you would like a warm and comfortable bath. Follow me."
Ars looked at everyone following Nene, smiled and then started thinking what he should do now. He decided to go home and check if there was anything important to do, if there wasn't, he would go to the new villages to explore.
He arrived home and there were a few requests for him to look through. The most important one was from Koral, a request to train more doctors so they could build small clinics in the new villages, he approved. The second one was from Tom. He wanted to start importing wood to build ships, he approved but with a limited quantity, since for now the focus wasn't building ships.
There were a few more requests, but not many. He quickly went through them and approved of almost all, the only exception was a request to create a swimming area in the lake near the bathhouse, maybe in the future it would be an option, but for now it wasn't a priority.
Then Elia came in, followed by the other maids, they had just heard that he was back from the sister who went with him.
"Welcome back, your majesty!"
Ars looked at Elia and proudly said.
"Good work managing the kingdom while I was gone, I expected a bit more work remaining when I came back but I was pleasantly surprised."
Elia smiled and answered sweetly.
"It was a pleasure helping your majesty, I honestly thought it would be harder, but please, get a queen that is good with logistics and bureaucracy as soon as possible, i don't mind helping but i am really not cut for that."
He nodded and thought about it, this was a good time as any other to get his new queen. So he got up and went to the TCP to try and get himself a new queen, the only question was if she would accept his invitation.
He prepared the machine, and started looking for the day of the destruction of Ohara, his target was Nico Olvia. After a few minutes of search he found the event.
He activated the machine and went in, he appeared in the middle of seas of flames, and a few scholars who were throwing all the books they could, into a lake.
He approached Nico Olvia as she fell, and made the machine slow down time to everyone and everything else. Nico Olvia, already covered in burns, was surprised, she didn't understand what was happening, but she saw someone approaching her.
Ars approached the shocked and confused Nico Olvia, and then calmly explained.
"I have a proposition for you, care to listen?"
She nodded and tried to move so she could throw more books in the lake, but she was too hurt, and couldn't get up anymore. So he started explaining what he wanted.
"I came from the future, and I would like to bring you back with me, all of your injuries will be healed and you will also be rejuvenated."
She froze but then started thinking, and said with a serious expression, trying to hide the pain of her burns.
"Take Gram instead, she is younger than me, and she deserves the opportunity to live."
Ars shook his head and said calmly.
"I'm giving this opportunity to you. In the future you have the chance to meet your daughter after a few years, and you can come here and bring some of the archaeologists you're friendly with back to life too, one at the time but you will get there. In exchange you will be one of my queens. One thing you might need to know, I will use one of my special abilities to change the appearances of anyone you bring back and I will also be changing yours just so you know , anyone who comes back will have to sign a contract that makes it impossible to speak about what happened."
She thought it and the opportunity to live and get a fresh start with many of the archaeologists was too good to pass, in addition the possibility of seeing her daughter again was also too good.
While she was deciding, Ars then thought to himself.
'I should also change Tom's appearance, just in case someone from his youth recognises him, and if I do it soon enought, I shouldn't have to do it in the future.'
Olvia looked at Ars and finally accepted.
"I accept, and I suppose anyone who goes back, will need a new name, at least the ones with famous names."
Ars extended his hand and grabbed her, before her body started being rebuilt by the machine, then Ars praised her idea.
"I didn't think of that, but you're right, that could help too."
Then the machine did its thing and recreated a younger Olvia, leaving a copy of her soon to be corpse in her place.
As she was walking back with him she muttered while looking back.
"See you soon, my friends."
When they exited the machine, he introduced Elia to her.
"This is Elia, the head maid and for now, my only other queen."
Olvia thought about it and before introducing herself, she asked Ars.
"Do i need a family name considering once i marry you i will take yours?"
Ars thought about it and realized she was right, but at the same he said.
"Think of one just in case someone asks what used to be your name, but you are right you can use my own, from now on if you want. "
She nodded and then introduced herself to Elia.
"My name is Coni Olivia, but you can call me just Olivia. It is a pleasure to meet you Elia."
Elia nodded, smiled warmly and welcomed her happily.
"You can call me Elia, and if you need anything just ask me, or my 2 other sisters that also work as maids in the palace. And welcome to the family."
Ars then explained.
"Each queen will have a different area of expertise hopefully and I was hoping you could be in charge of education and logistics."
Olivia nodded and responded with a reassuring smile.
"No problem."
He then looked at Elia and explained.
"I will go change her appearance and I will be back in a few hours. Do you want to come or stay? If you come, I can change a few things about your potential."
Elia instantly decided to come along.
"I will go then."
He teleported the 3 of them into his lab and started with Olvia, while sitting down near the computer to change her appearance.
"Come here, let's both decide how to change and improve your appearance."
She went to his side and seeing no place for her to sit, she sat on his lap, with a smile.
Ars took a sample from her, and both of them slowly changed her appearance to fit both of their tastes. To start with they changed her hair color to red and her eye color to an emerald green, finally increased her body curves proportions, like in Elia's case, slightly bigger breasts, hips and ass, and a small decrease in her waist.
Then she entered the machine, and the machine slowly changed her appearance. Ars then looked at Elia, who had been waiting silently for her turn, and said calmly.
"Come with me."
He went to the other computer. He wanted to know if he could change her potential in this tank like he did to himself or did he have to use the injections to increase it, if only the second was possible it would take a while and it would be more painful.
Luckly it went well and she could enter the machine and use it, after Ars confirmed that the sleeping option was active, he activated the computer. He intended to change all of his queen's potentials, the only thing he wouldn't give them yet was the super powers.
It would take a few days for Elia to finish increasing her potential. Olivia on the other hand only lasted an hour at most. So he prepared the contract.
He waited for Olivia to complete her transformation, and when she came out she inquired about what was happening to Elia.
"Elia's appearance doesn't seem to be changing, is she doing something different?"
Ars nodded and explained.
"In your case was an appearance change or in some cases removing any old hidden problems the person may have, but in her case it's a potential increase, think of it like elevating your body genetics to the next level, in simple terms you will be an improvement in all areas, like strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, learning, cognitive thinking, memory, etc. It can also give you super powers like an akuma no mi does but a little different, but for now no one will be getting them yet. You will also go through the same process in the future, not just one time but several times when it's needed."
She nodded, then he teleported both of them out, so she asked surprised.
"Shouldn't we wait for her?"
"No, she will take a few days to complete the procedure."
