Olivia then remembered something and asked.
"I have a few questions in regard to getting the other archaeologists and this contract."
Ars nodded and replied.
"Go ahead and ask, I will do my best to answer them."
She nodded and started.
"Well to start with I wish to know the frequency that one is able to travel to the past to save someone. And this contract is always the same or it can be changed when you need it to?"
Ars calmly started answering the questions, while he sat down on a chair and indicated Olivia to do the same.
"The machine that allows you to go to the past and rescue someone, can be used 1 time a month under normal usage, but if you use it to interfere with the timeline it takes longer. In short it has 2 modes, the first allows you to basically stoop time for everyone but you and the person you chose, and you will only be able to speak with that person you chose, if he or she accepts the conditions, they can come back with you, the machine sort of creates a new body, or restores the body and leaves a fake copy behind, then it's possible to take them back to the present for us, or the future for them. And no, I'm not exactly sure if the machine creates a new body or restores your own and creates a fake replacement, and honestly at least for now I don't really care. "
"Understood, now the contract."
Ars once again calmly explained.
"First the contract is part of my personal abilities. Along with that entire laboratory, each machine has a different use, and one of the machines is a typewriter where you can write contracts that actually force you to follow what's written in them. I normally use them to assure the confidentiality of my abilities. And yes you can call me paranoid, but since i have something that allows me to make sure i won't be betrayed and doesn't harm anyone, i'm gonna use it. By the way, Elia's contract is kinda brutal to herself, and she was the one who wrote it."
Olivia was curious and requested.
"Can I see it?"
Ars just made the contract appear on his hand, and he let her have a look. After finishing reading it, she commented amazed.
"Can I create my own? Even if it won't be as one-sided as this one? And I assume if I create my own I need to put the confidentiality option in, right?"
Ars nodded and then he added.
"The typewriter actually has the options built in, you can write part of it, but you only select the options you want the majority of the time."
Then she noticed something he said.
"You said this is part of your ability, does that mean the time machine isn't?"
Ars nodded and kept explaining what he knew.
"When you came out of the machine you managed to see a large number of machines surrounding us, right?"
She nodded and lightly commented.
"Indeed, I did notice all those machines it would be hard not to."
He smiled knowingly and then finished explaining.
"All of those machines were created during or before the void century, by a bunch of scientists. Some of the machines were machines created in case the ancient weapons ended up destroying the world, the time machine is one of those. Later on, for some reason, they created that dome to hide all of the machines they created, from someone or something. We can find several types, from machines created only to help society to machines that their intended use was to save the world in case things went south."
Her eyes shone when she heard what he said, then calmed herself a bit and thought about it and commented.
"We can indeed assume the time machine was made to help save the world, at least I don't see a purpose in normal society. Though you could use the machine to investigate murders."
Ars laughed and agreed.
"If you don't have any more questions I will introduce you to everyone, after that I need to go check the new villages."
She requested hopefully.
"In the future I would like to request your permission to check the dome for information about the past, other than that I'm ready to meet the others."
He smiled and extended his hand to hold hers, before relying.
"You can study anything you find, as long as you don't damage anything."
Ars then called Solana and Dawn and introduced Olivia to them.
"This is Olivia, in the future, along with your sister and probably a few others, she will be one of the queens."
They excitedly nodded and at the same time greeted her.
"Your majesty queen Olivia, it's a pleasure to meet you. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask us."
Ars then asked.
"Can you call everyone who is close to me? I will introduce her to them and in a week or so, I will officially introduce her along with your sister as future queens to everyone on the island."
They nodded, super excited, and while they were gone, Olivia asked to be allowed to write her own contract. Ars nodded and let her go write it.
After a few minutes she came out and delivered her contract to Ars, unlike Elia, her contract was basically the normal version but with a mind link between herself and Ars, and no aging.
She then asked curiously .
"Is it possible to turn links on and off? If the answer is yes, I would like to make a contract with Elia and the rest of future queens, that would link us together when we wanted or needed to share something in secret."
Ars started to think about it but he didn't know because he never tried it, so he clarified.
"Sorry, but I have no idea, I have never tried to use them like that. We constantly feel each other's well-being and can actively send telepathic messages when we want, but we never ever tried to turn it off completely."
After close to a half an hour, everyone close to him was here, so he pulled Olivia's into him and introduced her to them.
"Thank you for arriving on such short notice, I called you guys here to introduce you to one of the future queens. This is Coni Olivia, she is the queen that will be in charge of education and logistics."
They all nodded and started introducing themselves, the most excited ones, were the females with ages close to the current Olivia age. He looked at Fierzy whose eyes were showing a lot of interest in the new possible friend, who was with Lily and Oak. She had calmed herself down a lot, especially since she had started training with the guards she managed to get a better control over herself, so she wasn't causing problems anymore, she was now the strongest female on the island, after training extra hard to prove herself to Ars.
The other 2 who were a little bit more excited were Koral and Rosar, Koral was here with her little girl, while Rosar was glueing herself to Rook. But after a few minutes little Moannee became the center of attention.
After a good while everyone left except Dawn and Solana, who went to prepare meals since it was close to dinner time, when they came back with dinner, Olivia, who didn't have much to do for now, looked at Dawn and Solana, and decided to pamper them a bit.
"Come sit with us, if anyone says anything, you should just say I ordered you to do it, don't worry about it. "
They both looked at Ars for confirmation, he nodded and they excitedly accepted the invitation. They quickly brought another 2 sets of tableware for them and then they sat down.
After a very pleasant meal, before they managed to escape Olivia showered them with hugs and kisses.
At first they showed confusion but then they started to cry from happiness, while it wasn't anything that special for Ars or Olivia, for them it made them feel comfortable, they felt that this was what a family should feel like, yes their oldest sister was very kind to them and so was Ars, but their older sister focus was permanently on serving Ars, the few times it wasn't, they did feel that she loved them a lot like a big sister would, but she herself didn't know how to properly display her affection for them…
Considering their past it wasn't too surprising. But the new queen was literally giving them the type of affection they had been craving all their lives, so when they got it, they couldn't control themselves and broke into tears.
Olivia was shocked and confused, why would they be crying, but then Ars said from the side.
"You can go back to your duties for now, I will explain your past to her."
They both nodded and left to complete their duties.
Once they were gone Ars started explaining their past to Olivia. The more she heard the sadder she felt for them. Once they were done with their duties and preparing to leave, she went to hug them and asked if they wanted to spend the night in her house along with their siblings.
They were going to ask Ars for confirmation, but she quickly stopped them.
"You don't need his permission at least not this time, if he gets angry I will cover for you, go get your siblings and come back here, don't worry about it."
After they left, she looked at Ars and questioned him politely.
"You don't mind do you?"
He shook his head, and commented "You know they aren't substitutes for your daughter."
She laughed awkwardly and a bit sad and asked.
"Can't I bring my daughter to live here now?"
Ars shook his head and explained.
"No you can't, in the future i will allow you to reunite with her after a certain incident, after all she is very important to this world. But if I ever discover where she is I will bring you to see her and maybe even help her, as long as you don't reveal your previous identity until I allow you to do so. But you need to train your body hard from now on."
She nodded a bit sad and a bit hopeful that she would meet her daughter again soon.
After a while, Dawn, Solana and Eliana came back. Ars was surprised not to see Altan so he asked.
"Where is your brother?"
Dawn smiled awkwardly.
"Sorry, after my brother heard that the queen showered us with kisses and hugs, he got embarrassed and refused to come, saying he was a soldier in training now, and having the queen taking care of him didn't seem manly."
Ars understood where the boy was coming from. It was most likely an excuse, since he knew that Ars only had a single guest room for now and he didn't want to sleep with his sisters, or even worse with his sisters and the queen.
Olivia looked at Ars and requested.
"Can they all stay here at least until Elia comes back? "
Ars nodded, for him having the family from one of your wives staying over for a while, was perfectly normal in his head, especially since he also knew that once his house grew or evolved into a palace, they would be coming to live in it, to be live-in maids.
So Olivia, for the next few hours was showering them all, with lots of love.
After that, the younger girls fell asleep and she came to sleep with Ars. He was surprised, but pleasantly so, since he thought she would sleep with the 3 young girls.
For Olivia this was her way to demonstrate she would be his wife from the bottom of her heart, and that she would try her best to be a good queen. She had discovered that Elia often came to spend the night with Ars, so she did the same, a courtesy from the 2 older girls to Ars.
