After they started creating a new city in the new world, there were some people that went exploring around, and they discovered that this new world was very similar to the previous one.
There was pretty much everything there was on the previous planet, but there were more, way more things here, for example there were sea kings sized existences walking on land… When they saw that, they didn't know if calling them sea kings would be accurate.
They also saw that even some of the animals they knew were bigger and sometimes looked differently with strange changes, some others were completely new. There were also plants that they had never seen before and some that looked similar but were completely different.
There was so much to explore, so much to discover…
But what scared everyone, was their behavior, specifically of one animal they discovered, a white fluffy rabbit with red eyes, but it had a blade like horn in its head. They had approached it trying to catch it for an easy meal, only to discover that the adorable looking rabbit was a carnivore, and they were actually the prey.
One of them had part of their arm severed by the rabbit horn. Seeing this they quickly started running as fast as they could.
Thankfully, it didn't chase them, they regrouped a few hundred meters away, where they started to talk to each other, a bit shaken by the incident.
"What is that rabbit?"
"A carnivorous rabbit, never thought I would see such a thing…"
"I'm not sure if it's a carnivore…"
"What? The fact that it bit and started to eat my friend's hand while we were running, isn't enough proof for you?"
"Well it could be an omnivore."
"Are we seriously discussing the dietary preferences of the rabbit?"
"Your right that isn't important right now."
One of them looked at the injured companion and asked him.
"Biggus Dickus, are you alright?"
"Yes, a bit sad. I went from 5 usable limbs to just 4 but… I will try to ask the medicine department if there is any way to regrow my arm. I heard that the king and the head of the clinic, maybe I should call her director instead… But I heard that they can heal a lot of stuff."
Everyone nodded, and finally one asked.
"What should we do now? We are not fighters and we have run out of holy grenades…"
"I think we should ask for help from one of the soldiers, I would like to see if we can recover your severed arm."
They all looked at each other and nodded.
They quickly went back to the city where a lot of stuff was being built, luckly for them, Ars and a few others were present. They quickly approached and started explaining the situation.
"We found a vile beast, disguised as a rabbit and we need help defeating it."
Biggus Dickus, looked at Koral and inquired.
"Miss, is it possible to recover my arm?"
She looked at him, nodded and then explained.
"There is indeed a way. I have been working on this new potion that can regrow limbs, but i never tried it before so it might have a few strong side effects, do you still would like to try?"
He nodded and followed Koral to a small tent that was being used as a temporary clinic.
Ars followed the others curious about the beast, when they arrived and saw the cute rabbit, Ars looked at them for confirmation, and they nodded back at him.
Ars broke out laughing so hard he fell on the floor. After a few minutes of laughing himself to near death.
After recovering from laughing too much he went to kill the rabbit, to his surprise the rabbit was stronger than expected, and with that horn Ars was starting to see how the men exploring around got injured. After all these were men that had just arrived, did not train and that were malnourished.
Ars quickly ended the fight with a stab to the rabbit's head when it tried to headbut him in the chest.
Ars couldn't help but comment on the rabbit behavior.
"Aggressive little thing."
Ars, along with the men, looked around for more of these rabbits. And after finding a few more, they confirmed that these rabbits were mainly vegetarian but some of the males were extremely aggressive and would eat anything they could find, especially intruders in what they considered their territories.
After this they went back, and went to meet Koral to see if she managed to regrow the man's limb.
When they saw Koral, one of the men quickly asked.
"How is he? Doctor!"
She looked at him a bit embarrassed, and answered him quietly.
"Well he did recover his arm, but is gonna take a while to recover from the secondary effects..."
Everyone showed a confused expression until they entered the clinic and saw him.
He had gone from slightly malnourished to full on skin and bones.
Koral explained to everyone what happened.
"After I applied the potion on him, the arm quickly grew, but to grow it took what it needed from the body, and because of it, he lost all the remaining fat which was alredy low in quantity, also lost all nutrients and 90% of his muscle, in a very short time."
She then showed a happy face and said.
"But don't worry we already gave him a nutritious meal, he will be back to be able to move in a few weeks."
Ars nodded and looked at Koral, and informed her.
"I just returned, and I decided that I should go explore the surroundings. There are quite a few intersti…"
Ars abruptly stopped, cleared his throat and kept going.
"I mean as a king I need to ensure the safety of my civilians so I am going to explore the surroundings for dangerous existences or places."
Koral could only roll her eyes, even if hadn't let it slip. Just by the look on his face she could see how excited about finding new things he was.
Koral nodded, and he quickly turned to leave but she grabbed him and said with her eyes half closed.
"But before you go, finish your duties, or I'm telling the queens."
Ars showed a disappointed face, then he looked at Koral like she had betrayed him, but then he chose to finish his duties.
"Fine… Damn snitch…"
After reading and signing documents for almost 4 hours he was finally free to go explore a little.
He left in a hurry afraid that more documents would arrive and he would be stuck here dealing with them.
When Ars reached the outside of the city, he decided that instead of going around in his human form he was going to transform in his Amaru form.
He transformed, and the people around him saw him doing it.
After Ars left the people behind, started talking about it.
"Did you see that, his majesty transformed into a dragon!"
"Yeah it's wings were bird wings though…"
"True, but the mixture of golden and iridescent scales looked really nice."
"But what are the abilities of that dragon… I mean most dragons have special abilities right?"
That last question opened up a whole new debate.
Ars was unaware of this, and kept flying around, looking around for interesting things.
First he found a plant that spouted fire at him when he got close, the flames weren't too hot, but they probably could hurt a normal person if they weren't being careful. This plant also had some large fruits, almost the size of a big banana, but they were red and had the appearance of a chili pepper.
Ars saw it and his eyes shone, he did like spicy stuff, so he decided to try. He took a few fruits with him to take back to his new city. He used a small knife and cutted a bit of fruit.
He started coughing, his face went completely red, and he quickly drank water, but that didn't do anything to alleviate the pain, he couldn't help but complain loudly.
"It's so god damn spicy, strangely it is also sweet but that seems to make the pain even worse…It will probably be tasty in foods, but people will need to be careful to put the correct amount…"
A single small bite was enough to put him on the ground breathing quickly, he was also sweating heavily, if someone accidentally took a larger piece, they might actually need to go to the clinic.
After going around a little bit more, he found an animal that seemed to make bubbles out of his body. It looked like an armadillo, with dark brown skin, almost black, and on its back seemed to be a patch of grass that produced a viscous liquid that caused the bubbles to appear.
These bubbles reminded him of the bubbles on sabaody archipelago.
The creature ignored Ars even after he landed in front of it.
It was bigger than what Ars first thought, when he was looking from the air he thought it was slightly larger than the average armadillo, but when close he realized that it was almost the same size as a big boar.
Then they heard a cry in the distance, and suddenly the armadillo type animal went completely alert. After a few seconds it started making a hole on the ground and buried itself.
After it buried itself Ars could barely notice it without using observation haki. Ars was impressed, he didn't expect this animal to be so good at hiding. He looked at the source of the sound that caused his new friend to hide so quickly.
He moved towards the sound, and then he found a new creature. Ars was shocked… This creature's appearance was… strange to say the least.
Its body was snake-like, but instead of being limbless like a snake it had hundreds of lizard-like feet, and finally its head looked more like a venus flytrap with extra accessories. In this case the accessories were a set of small eyes, something that Ars thought as a nose with several nostrils and finally a few extra mouths inside its mouth.
When it sensed Ars it instantly tried to attack him. Ars just dodged and kicked it, injuring it in the process, but unlike what Ars expected the creature became even more aggressive. After a few more trades it died of its injuries.
Ars was amazed with its determination to eat him, to the last moment it didn't stop attacking, trying to eat Ars.
After that Ars kept going around for a bit, until he spotted an island moving around.
It wasn't a super large island but it was large enough to make Ars question what this creature was and how big it was.
After exploring for a while, the creature's head came out of the water, it was a turtle, and the island was on its shell.
Ars tried to calculate its size, and he reached the conclusion that this turtle shell should be at least over 15000 meters.
After he left he managed to find some more huge creatures, none as big as the turtle, but some of them lived on land instead of the sea. And after exploring a bit more, Ars started to notice that most creatures on this new planet were bigger than the other side.
For example, he found that the average deer around here was 3 to 4 metres in height, and weighed up to 5 tons.
Ars noticed that the sun was starting to go down, so he decided to go back to the city and share his findings.
When he arrived he quickly told everyone interested what he found, the most worried were the guards, and when they heard that in this place everything was bigger and stronger they became nervous. The place was already harder to survive with the superior gravity, they didn't need extra challenges.
Some others decided to try the fruits Ars brought with him, chiefs and people who cooked agreed with Ars that this new fruit would go well with foods that should be spicy, others who tried started complaining it was too spicy.
After sharing with everyone interested here he went back to his house on the other side to meet and talk with his queens about what he discovered.
Elia and Bell-mere were especially interested in the new fruit, Olivia, Kuina and Reiju were more interested in the fauna.
After eating dinner and talking a bit more, Olivia and Reiju decided to join forces to have fun with Ars.
