Suddenly, that streak of dark purple light with its long tail vanished in the sky!
"It's gone!" Shizuka said strangely, watching the light disappear.
"Should we go check it out?" Shizuka suggested, actually wanting to fly in the air with me a bit longer.
"Sure!" I agreed, knowing the plot was about to unfold.
So, we all flew toward where the black meteor had disappeared.
"Doraemon, your magic is so strange!" Shizuka looked at Doraemon beside us and voiced the doubt she'd had since coming to find me.
You can fly with just two tiny propellers without a flying broomstick, and it's as fast as one—this really shattered Shizuka's worldview in the magic world.
"This isn't magic!"
"It's a super-small propeller plane made with the power of science!"
Doraemon introduced it confidently while flying, but he forgot this wasn't a scientific world but a magical one.
"Doraemon, you're such a joker."
"So-called science is just superstition."
"Now magic is already so advanced."
Shizuka laughed with an expression like "If you don't want to say, fine, but you love joking."
Doraemon was speechless; he suddenly realized he couldn't really say in the magic world that magic was the superstition!
…
On the other side, as if guided by fate...
Suneo and Gian were playing in the open field when they also spotted that black meteor.
Driven by curiosity, they mounted their flying broomsticks and chased after it.
Unlike with Nobita and the others, they didn't chat along the way, so their speed was much faster than them.
They arrived first at the spot where the black meteor had vanished.
Looking at the pitch-black forest, Gian picked up a withered branch and examined it.
He was horrified to see the black branch quickly turn to ash and disappear in his hand.
"That's amazing! It turned to ashes!"
"Hey! Gian, all the trees around here are withered!" Suneo flew around the forest on his broomstick and found the whole area pitch black, probably all dried up.
"With such powerful effects, that wasn't an ordinary meteor," Gian unusually used his brain to think.
"But we can't find any trace of the meteor or a meteorite or anything!" Suneo said puzzledly.
"What on earth fell down?" Gian wondered too.
"Huh?"
Suddenly, Gian heard the sound of a branch being stepped on.
"What's wrong?" Suneo asked, seeing Gian looking around.
"Something's moving!" Gian signaled Suneo to be quiet, then tilted his ear to listen.
"Over there!" Gian mounted his broomstick and chased toward the sound.
"Wait for me!" Suneo quickly followed Gian.
"Is it an alien?" Gian asked excitedly.
"Isn't it a monkey?" Suneo looked at the black figure constantly leaping through the trees ahead.
"Catch it! We'll flank it, Suneo!" Gian sped up excitedly, trying to grab the figure from another direction.
Just as Suneo and Gian were pursuing, the black figure ahead stopped fleeing, as if annoyed.
It suddenly cast a spell from its hand, releasing a purple lightning bolt toward Suneo and Gian.
"Oh no!" Suneo and Gian quickly maneuvered their broomsticks to dodge the attack.
Immediately after, another attack came, and Suneo and Gian fled. Now it was their turn to run, with the black figure chasing them.
At that moment, Nobita and the others arrived at the scene.
…
"This is terrible! What happened!"
"Was this all caused by that meteor?" Shizuka stared in shock at the pitch-black, withered forest.
"This definitely isn't an ordinary meteor!" Doraemon was also amazed by the scale of the destruction.
Suddenly, there was a series of explosive booms ahead of us.
We looked toward the smoke-shrouded area in front.
There, a black figure flew into the air.
"Is that a monkey?" Doraemon said uncertainly.
The black figure kept releasing purple lightning attacks at two people fleeing on flying broomsticks.
"Those two are Suneo and Gian!" Doraemon exclaimed!
Then, while Suneo and Gian were fleeing, one of the purple lightning bolts hit them. They looked like they'd been electrocuted, their hair frizzed.
Their flying broomsticks broke, and the two temporarily passed out, falling from the sky.
"Gian, Suneo!"
We quickly sped up to catch them.
Suddenly, a girl controlling a magic carpet flew out from the woods and used magic to catch Suneo and Gian onto her carpet.
But at that point, both sides had accelerated suddenly toward the same central point where Suneo and Gian were.
So, neither side could stop in time.
"Ahhh!" Doraemon, flying the fastest, crashed his iron head into the magic carpet.
Suneo and Gian were flung off violently, waking them from their faint.
Shizuka and I were about to crash into the girl, so I quickly used telekinesis to make my body float.
Then, I hugged Shizuka and jumped off the broomstick downward.
But the girl, due to inertia, came crashing toward me, and I had no choice but to catch her.
The girl's soft body was held in my other arm.
Then, holding both girls, I acted like a cushion as she collided into me toward the ground.
With a bang!
We all fell to the ground. Fortunately, we weren't far from the ground, so there was no danger—just a bit of pain.
"Nobita, are you okay!" After crashing to the ground, Shizuka immediately asked about me, who had become the cushion beneath.
"Are you alright!" The girl I was holding also asked about my condition.
I woke up groggily. Thanks to telekinesis, it had softened a lot of the impact.
But after waking, besides the familiar feel of Shizuka, I sensed another person's touch.
Hmm!
Her figure is pretty nice too!
I opened my eyes and saw, besides Shizuka's worried face, a beautiful girl nearby.
She was wearing a full pink long dress, but it didn't cover her calves; instead, it revealed her long, fair legs, with white boots below.
Her exquisite, flawless pretty face, paired with short hair, gave off a spirited vibe.
"Are you okay?" she asked again.
The dappled light and shadows of the woods fell on her face, making even Shizuka, as a girl, daze for a moment.
"I'm fine!" With Shizuka's help, I got up and let go of the hand holding her.
The girl also realized something, her pretty face blushing slightly; it seemed she hadn't had much contact with boys.
"Nice to meet you. Hi, I'm Miyoko!"
The girl introduced herself with a bright smile.
