Chapter 124 - Chapter 124: The Mysterious Meteor

After experiencing the wonders of the magic world, I went back to share the day's fun with Doraemon.

As we were excitedly discussing the marvels of magic, Doraemon suddenly felt a pain in his stomach.

"My stomach is in emergency mode!" Doraemon clutched his belly and rolled on the ground.

I guessed it was probably caused by the other Doraemon inside the fourth-dimensional pocket.

But how could the situation in the fourth-dimensional pocket affect Doraemon himself? That was pretty amazing too.

Seeing Doraemon rolling on the ground, I quickly lifted him into the drawer, planning to take him back to the 22nd century!

But Doraemon insisted he didn't need me to accompany him and wanted to go alone.

I found it strange, but then I realized— that guy was probably afraid of being dragged to the hospital for a checkup.

I thought about going to find Dorami, but I figured she'd definitely take Doraemon to the hospital anyway.

Seeing that Doraemon didn't want me to come along, I decided not to go.

Fortunately, the time machine is kind of like a robot and can navigate automatically. I instructed it to take good care of Doraemon.

Then, I let it take him to the 22nd century.

But just moments after I closed the drawer, it suddenly opened again.

That fast?

I looked suspiciously at Doraemon, who climbed out looking refreshed and energetic.

I asked the time machine if it had really taken Doraemon to the future world in the 22nd century.

The time machine honestly confirmed that it had.

I seriously suspected Doraemon hadn't even gone to the hospital and just came back once his stomach stopped hurting.

"Ow, don't doubt me like that! Don't you trust me?" Doraemon saw my suspicious look and knew what I was thinking, so he tried to laugh it off.

Just as I was about to persuade Doraemon to go to the hospital for a checkup anyway...

Suddenly, Shizuka's voice came from outside.

Shizuka was hovering on her flying broomstick at my second-floor window, inviting me to go for a ride with her.

Doraemon quickly urged me to go play with Shizuka and stop obsessing over the hospital thing.

As he spoke, Doraemon pulled out a Take-copter from his pocket, stuck it on his head, and flew out from the windowsill.

Shizuka was amazed to see Doraemon flying in the sky without a flying broomstick.

"Nobita, let's join him!" Seeing Doraemon already up in the air, Shizuka invited me.

I felt helpless seeing this; it looked like I couldn't convince Doraemon, but hopefully, nothing serious would happen.

By now, the Doraemon statue in the fourth-dimensional pocket should have been rescued by Dorami!

Just as I was about to grab my own flying broomstick and take off, Shizuka suddenly waved at me, signaling me to come over.

She pointed to another spot on her pink broomstick, her fair face blushing slightly.

Shizuka's intention was clear—she wanted us to ride the same flying broomstick together.

Seeing Shizuka's shy and cute expression, how could I refuse a girl's invitation?

I sat behind her on the pink broomstick and wrapped my arms around her slender, soft waist.

Feeling the warmth from my hands on her waist, Shizuka's face turned even redder.

"T-Take off!" Shizuka chanted the flying broomstick's spell with a trembling voice.

The flying broomstick wobbled unsteadily in the air, and I couldn't bear to watch.

I reached forward, wrapping my arms around her body, and took hold of Shizuka's fair little hands to personally control the broomstick, making it fly steadily through the sky.

Seeing our position now, Shizuka became even more shy, her body softening as she leaned back against my chest.

Looking at Shizuka's adorable appearance, I couldn't help but feel a playful urge.

I leaned my head forward, her smooth hair carrying a fragrant scent.

My lips parted slightly, and I blew a breath onto Shizuka's tender earlobe.

"Shizuka, we've already been that close, and you still get so shy!"

I teased her.

Shizuka's cute little ear turned red as if scorched by fire.

"D-Don't do that!" Shizuka's soft, sweet voice rang out!

That only fueled my teasing mood even more.

With Shizuka sitting in front, I couldn't kiss her little mouth.

But I found a good way anyway.

I gently kissed her adorable earlobe.

"Ah!" Shizuka was startled and let go of the broomstick with both hands.

Fortunately, I was the one controlling the broomstick now, so it continued flying steadily with both of us in the air.

"Y-You can't do that!" Shizuka's little face was completely flushed.

"You're just too cute, Shizuka!" I casually tossed out a cheesy line.

"You're so mean!"

Shizuka said that, but she didn't seem annoyed at all; instead, her shyness mixed with a hint of joy.

This time, riding the broomstick together felt premeditated.

It seemed she really liked me, especially after knowing I'd met many other girls, and she wanted to deepen our relationship.

Actually, I wanted to get closer to Shizuka too, but ever since that intimate moment with her and her mom last time...

Shizuka didn't like me coming to her house anymore. Though she didn't blame me and even agreed to what happened.

But I could tell she was jealous.

So, I went along with her feelings. Lately, we've either been on adventures or at school.

With people around, it wasn't suitable for romance.

I didn't have much of a solution; I could only let things happen naturally.

Anyway, our relationship had already progressed to the next level, and what followed was just couple's flirting.

Shizuka's soft body leaned into my embrace, her face flushed, her eyes watery as if about to drip.

We flew through the air on the broomstick, full of affection. If not for the inconvenience of the broomstick, one might suspect we'd go even further.

Our flirting was interrupted by Doraemon's arrival.

"Why are you guys so slow!"

"I've been flying in the air for ages and didn't see you, so I had to fly back to find you."

"Is your flying broomstick that bad? You'd be better off with my Take-copter!"

Before Doraemon could finish, he got glares from both of us. He was clueless, unable to figure out how he'd annoyed Shizuka and me.

But at that moment, a streak of dark light in the sky caught our attention.

That streak of black light looked like a meteor, trailing a long tail.

"What is that thing? It's weird!" Shizuka, in my arms, pointed curiously at the ominous-looking glow.

"Is it a meteor?" Doraemon was unsure.

"But how can there be a black meteor?"
