Auden took out another Flammel artifact from his ring. He had only gotten a few of them and all of them are very helpful in one way or the other if he wanted to do illegal activities.
Sometimes he wonders whether the Flammel couple had expected him to do stuff like this and had prepared the items to be useful in such situations.
The item he currently took out was known as Hermes shoes. And no, it is not some ancient artifact, but something Flammel had created for him. It had wings on the side which will allow him to fly, though they had a limitation.
Even thought Flammel had created a lot of items for him, he wanted Auden to not depend on them by too much and create his own artifacts in the future.
The shoe will allow him to fly silently through the air without any problem. But they had a time limit after which it will require recharge by placing it in sunlight while not using it.
Auden had not used it before because he wanted to make sure that the distance he calculated was precise, if not the shoes would have stopped working before he got out of the bank entirely.
Outside Gringotts in an Alley
"Whew" Auden let out a deep breath as he removed the cloak of invisibility. He then looked at the cup he had stored in his ring.
'Looks like the duplicating enchantment only works inside the confines of the bank' Auden thought as he checked the cup in his hand.
The cup was actually one of the greatest creation of Helga Hufflepuff that broke the rules of transfiguration itself.
The laws of Transfiguration states that transfiguration can never create food for consumption. For the molecules of food are too complicated for wizards to emulate.
But Helga Hufflepuff's cup has the ability to turn atmospheric moisture into magically rich food that is said to be exceptionally tasty and nourishing, its last owner who was killed by Voldemort was said to have been a rich witch who was also a foodie of the wizarding and muggle world.
The cup can bring out any food as long as its holder had eaten it once and can imagine it. The cup uses the memory to create the food while enhancing its taste and nutrition.
Basically, Helga Hufflepuff can be called as the Flint Lockwood of the wizarding world. If not for the high magical requirement and resources need to create the cup and the subsequent cooldown the cup takes after each food creation, she could have cured world hunger.
Auden looked at the up once again. Even though he knew about the original cup's powers, right now he felt like he was looking at something extremely cursed that was aiming to kill its holder.
Auden was able to feel the cup sending signals to him, telling him to ask for food. But Auden knew that any food that comes out of the cup right now will be extremely poisonous.
He put the cup back inside the ring and began walking through the alley, towards a fireplace from which he can go home soon, to free the last trapped soul waiting to meet him.
After a few days.
"Well, time for breakfast kiddo, get up get up" an energetic voice made Auden open his eyes and what greeted him was a small mountain of gift boxes near his bed.
"And merry Christmas dear Auden. Seems like you really got a lot of friends" Auden smiled as Helga greeted him in the morning. Something she has been doing for the last few days. Because according to her.
"I already missed a decade of his life due to him being born as an adult. And there are only a few years left before he becomes an adult according to the rules of this era. I am not missing out on taking care of him during that little bit of time I got left". So currently he has a nanny who took care of everything for him while managing his timetable.
He looked at the small mountain of gifts that he got from a few friends at Hogwarts house, the professors as well as Dumbledore. He had also brought them a few gifts and send them out as well.
'I hope they liked mine.' Auden thought as he began looking at the gifts.
Auden POV
Most of the gifts were standard for my age while the teachers gifted me with a few personal notes and self-made items that are normally not found on the market.
Luna sent me a bracelet made out of amber and a few wines which seemed to glow in the dark and smelled really nice. I hope she likes my encyclopaedia of unnatural sitings and fairy tale books I got from the muggle side of the world.
Then I found two gifts that were a bit different. Dumbledore had sent me a book on defence against dark arts along with a letter which went on for some time.
The gist of which was just Dumbledore telling him that his door was always open for him anytime he needs help.
Auden made sure to completely ignore it after reading it once.
The next gift he got was from Hermionie Granger. This surprised him as he never had any direct interaction with her in any way.
'Did she find it was me who gave the message' he thought as he had not been very subtle when he had done it. He thought they had not found out about it since there was no confrontation about it later.
'Since I only got one gift, chances are only Hermionie knows about it currently and is sort of keeping it that way.' Auden thought as he checked the gift.
The gift was a certificate for a free dental checkup which made Auden check his teeth to make sure there were no problems and then there were a few notes on his first-year topics along with the questions and patters of the exams.
There was also a small letter which said thank you and asked to contact him if he ever needed help.
'Looks like I got an IOU from one of the smartest witch in the current generation.' Auden thought as he began going along the day of celebration.
