'I did not think this through' were the words on Auden's mind as he pummelled straight into the abyss of Gringotts.
The plans worked perfectly well. He had made sure to remove the limitations on the cloak placed by Dumbledore temporarily so as to use it at its full potential to infiltrate Gringotts. And just as he expected, none of the traps or runes managed to detect him even though he passed right through them.
The next step was to wait for a goblin to take someone into the vaults and it did not take long for it to happen. Auden followed them until they reached the tunnels and then changed his direction to the tunnels where Bellatrix's vault was located.
He had made sure to record as well as memorise the entire information of the layout he had gotten from the Black Library.
Then the next step was to go down using the rails that the Goblins use. And since they will find the lack of cart if someone comes behind him, he can only go through the rails by his own method.
"Nonafric" Auden casted a new spell created by Rowena in the last few days as he took out the wand from his wrist.
That's right, after the short ritual Auden did, the wand is currently stored in his own hand, concealed from any kind of scanning magic while able to enter and exit out of his wrist with a single thought.
Auden currently had an assassin creed version of a wizard's wand which can resist expelliarmus spell.
The spell he cast right now removes the friction from the floor and his feet while creating a chaining effect that makes sure he does not slip off by too much.
Right now, he was standing on one of the rails and moving forward due to momentum by gravity. But at the same time, the spell made sure he was not wobbling or losing balance whether he was going vertically horizontally or even in some really disastrous railway planning, upside down.
At first, Auden quickly got used to the speed of going by the rails. But as some distance passed, the rails started to deform and change into different shapes, making him glad that he had studied a motion sickness spell earlier on.
It did not take long for him to reach speeds that surpassed 300km/hr.
Auden immediately used the system to check where he had reached in the section of vaults. He figured out that he was nearing the floor where Bellatrix's vault was located.
He immediately used the brake spell, immediately showing the impulsiveness that Jason had described right at his reincarnation.
BAM!!
Auden crashed straight into the wall, breaking a few bones in the process. And in a manner befitting cartoons, he slowly slid down and fell into the ground.
For a moment, the wounds he got made him feel extreme pain for a moment. The next moment, the embarrassment of what he had done made him want to crawl into a hole and hide.
He thought about the healing spells he knew and found out that he knew nothing. Plus, healing spells are not like the other spells where accidents can cause the magic to dissipate or misfire. If he makes a wrong move, he might do worse damage to his own body.
Once again, Auden felt like staying down and not getting up. But world waits for no one and he can't stay here for long. He had to complete his work soon.
As he got up, he checked the vault nearby and paused.
It was the same vault he was looking for in these tunnels.
"Huh, guess some thing good…. uh" Auden tried to talk but found out that his jaw was hurting. He checked his body and found out that he had cracked two of his ribs and had caused damage to lot of his teeth and a finger in his left hand.
'Thank god, it's not that serious' he thought as he took out a few painkillers from his ring storage and drank it to deal with the pain for now. The next plan did not require any fighting at all, so he will be able to complete it easily.
He came near the vault door and found out that it matched what Godric had said. It was made entirely of Goblin silver.
From what Auden knew, Goblin silver was supposed to be precious. But there were thousands of such doors made in Gringotts storing the valuables of countless people.
'Is goblin silver really precious or is it just like modern diamonds' Auden thought as he used a special spell taught to him by Godric to temporarily met the door without relaying any alarms.
The spell was a bit complicated as it was created in away to not set off any of the alarms. But at the same time, he has come outside within five minutes or else the door will return to its original shape trapping him inside.
Auden has no idea about the inner security system, so he has to be extremely careful when he uses magic inside. So, he only got one chance to get in and get out with the cup.
He immediately moved through the entire vault while making sure not to touch even a single treasure as he knew the duplication curse has already been added to it. It did not take him long to find the cup present in the top of a cupboard along with many other artefacts.
Auden opened his ring and took out a long stick with a hook. He knew that he would have a total of three seconds before the duplication spell activates, so he decided to do it quickly.
He used the stick to push the Cup down and as it feel, he used his ring to take the cup directly into his storage space. He has no idea whether it will duplicate or not within his ring, so he decided to get back home quickly as he got a feeling that his internal injuries might require first aid soon.
