As the decoration and the mansion for last night's party was getting repaired, in the guest room Free's eye twitched and opened, he look around and saw Sylvia tightly clinging to his arm, he smiled and gently pull it away. Getting up, he stretch his arms and crack his knuckles.
"Quite the morning...." he muttered, yawning and he wears a new set of clothes that were on the table. After that, he came out of the room and wash his face, saw Iris outside his room's door, staring at him intently. "Hey Iris, what happened?" he asked.
"Where is big sis Sylvia!!" Iris asked loudly, stunning him for a moment, he regaining his composure and fix the collar of his clothes.
"She is asleep. Also when's breakfast?" he asked.
"You are asking about breakfast! It's the middle of the day!!" she yelled, he blinked once twice and then scream in shock.
"EEHHH!! It's noon already!?" he yelled and Iris gave a annoyed nodded, pointing outside where the mansion was getting repaired. "Oh... I rememeber, some assasins attacked last night...." He muttered, as wave of memories of last night's chaos came all at once.
"Yeah! If you want food go ask the chef!" Iris yelled back, Free nodded and left the place while she peeked inside Sylvia's room.
Inside Sylvia's face was peaceful in her sleep, Iris went in and closed the door. She stared at Sylvia's face which looked like a child in her sleep. 'She's cute' She thought, poking Sylvia's cheek.
"Mmhh..." Sylvia's muttered, her sleep getting disturbed by the continous poking, her eye slowly open . "Iris...IRIS!" she yelled, sitting up quickly. "Why are you in our room! A-a-and where is Free!?" she asked the first thing that came to her mind. Iris was dazed at her but she quickly regain her sense.
"He is currently at the dining room, he woke up not long ago" she replied, Sylvia quickly dressed up and ran out of the room leaving Iris behind.
At the dining room, he was alone eating a steak like a noble(because he was in a noble's house) he cut it cleanly and took a bite using his fork. Foot steps came outside the room, he turn his head toward it and saw Sylvia entering in the room.
"Free, you're here" she said, acting innocent and sitting down beside him as if not asking loudly a minute ago.
"Uhh, yeah....i just starting eating" he said, taking another bite of the steak."Let's eat together" he said, and she gave a quick nod with a faint blush.
After they finished eating, Free was called to Utto's room, he slowly walked to the room, still thinking about last night's event, he had already recalled everything last night, remembering Okoto's shout and Sylvia in his arms.
Knock! knock!.
"Come in" Utto answered, he entered in the room and Utto was with Okoto both discussing about something and a pile of files and scrolls on the desk.
"Yes...?" Free said in a low voice, Utto stared at him for a while longer and let out a tired sigh.
"Fr- Chief of Hayan, do you realize what you had caused last night?" Utto asked, his usual tone replaced by a formal one that made Free flinch.
The air hanged with Utto's silent authority, Free was silen, fidgeting with his hand.
"N-No" he said, Okoto gave a faint smile and whispered to his brother who nodded after sometime.
"So, according to what you did last night...." there was a pause, making Free more and more anxious, his mind racing of many possibilities, Execution? Maybe. But what came out completely shocked him. "CONGRATS!! you'll be awarded!!" Utto said in a loud voice, Free expression changed from anxiety to both surprised and shock.
"W-what?...." he asked, Okoto laughed a pat him in the pack.
"Well, you see. After last night's event, Moerti's wives were so traumatized when we asked some question they revealed all of Moreti's illegal business and he himself confirmed because of how much you traumatized him!!" Okoto explained, Free was still unable to comprehend the situation. After a long talk of Utto and Okoto Free got another golden check of 500 gold coin as a reward.
He was silent the whole time, his brain had stopped working, Utto send him outside, because he had more pile of paper work for clean up of Moreti's doing.
"F-Free...." Sylvia called out, she was waiting outside the whole time, Free snapped back to his senses and turn to her.
"Hu.....Uh!? Yeah" he answered, Sylvia scanned him from head to toe and saw the check in his hand and chuckled, she then pat his head.
"Let's go and get ready, were leaving tomorrow" she said, clinging to his right arm and pulling him with her toward their room. 'You always make me proud, my dear husband~' she thought, as they walk to the guest room together.
Meanwhile on another room, Iris was shoving clothes, spell books, her iron gloves in her bag as much as she can, as if preparing to go somewhere, Merlin was beside her with a worried face.
"Young lady, are you really going?" he asked again, Iris nodded as she shove her dress inside her bag which was already filled with things that scream violence.
"Yeah, i'm going with them Father and Mother already gave me the permission" she said, resting on the box.
"But will they accept?" he asked, Iris paused and thought for a moment. Then she grinned.
"They will, why won't they" she said, falling into her bed, meanwhile Sean outside the mansion was cleaning the Mansion mirrors which exploded last night...'cause of Free.
"May Goddes Celestine have mercy on Chief Free's family" he prayed, seeing Free from far away through the window, as he was putting his ring in the box and Sylvia folding their clothes neatly.
"he really is full of surprises" Utto said in his office as he laughed and scribbled through his documents.
"Well, he is my rival's son" Okoto proudly said.
"Well, tomorrow's gonna be the most quiet day, my daughter is going with Free, After that. only peace...." he said, leaning on his chair lazily while Okoto just gave a wide grin before taking his leave.
Meanwhile somewhere else on the road leading to the capital, the guy with the mask was sitting on the seat neatly as his muscular frame took half of the seat's space and with a list full of Moreti's illegal business, he sighed and take his mask off where a burn was just a little under both of his eye. "Free.... Chief of Hayan, i would like to have a spar with you one day" he said, as his eye glowed blue.
And on the shadow the same person who was watching the scene of last night's event, he was laughing hitting his hand on the tree. "Hahahah! Hayan guy really clean the sand with Moreti's butty!!!!!!" he laugh making monsters run away in fear and shock.
