Chapter 60 - Chapter 58: Going home......with the mad girl

The following day, the sun has just risen and Free was outside the carriage, putting his suitcase and rings under the seat of the carriage, Sylvia sat near the window. Meanwhile Free's face wasn't that joyful as another box filled with tools that screed violence.

"Is Iris really coming with us?" he asked again, turning to Utto and Zelda, it was the third time he had ask it this morning. Both of them gave a nod.

"She wanted to" Zelda replied.

"I'm a commoner" Free said, but Utto just gave him a pat on the back.

"She has many things to learn from you" Utto said, giving Free a face that was too happy.

'Is he really sad that his daughter is coming with us or not!?' Free thought, as Iris jumped into the carriage with her usual energetic face. "She just want to be with my wife, that's all" he muttered, giving up on opposing the decision made by the marquis family.

"It's time to return" Sean said, already sitting beside the driver's seat with his back straight and elegant as always.

"Yeah yeah" Free muttered before entering the carriage, the wheels start to creak and rolled, Iris wave her hand to her mother and father.

As the market starts to get livelier, the carriage passed by them, Free inside was silent, calm and....his finger pressed on his ears. Iris on the opposite of the seat was asking Sylvia way too many question.

"Sis, what's your favourite colour!?"

"What kind of food you like?!"

"What is your hobby?!" she asked soo many question, Sylvia was panicking trying to answer but Iris kept on asking too many question. Sean and the driver outside had already plugged their ears with cottons.

"I-i-i! Free!" she said, but he himself was already annoyed by the words, he stared at his wife straight into her eye and looked away, hinting that even he can't answer that many.

"How many hour do you sleep!?" Iris asked again, her eye sparkling with a childish curiosity. While she kept on blabbing and asking about Sylvia's hobby and other likes.

The afternoon came too soon, meanwhile on the Reys mansion Utto was having his peaceful time with his wife while Merlin was in the garden watering the plants, the mansion was peaceful, too peaceful becaise the chaos had gone to Hayan, even the servants were walking with relief on their faces.

"So peaceful" everyone muttered, meanwhile on the other side, Free was patting Sylvia's back because she got carriage sickness again.

"There there" he said, patting her back while Iris on the carriage was tapping her boots intensely.

"Why is that guy taking so much time!" she yelled, annoyed again, seeing him patting Sylvia's back. "uhhhhh! He sicken me!".

Sean on the driver's seat sighed as Iris kept on yelling from inside the carriage, the driver beside him was annoyed too.

"I meed a break from her" Free muttered, as each words stabbed like a knife.

The sun fully set, replaced by the starry night sky and the twin moons lighting the horizon, the carriage's wheels rolled inside Hayan, everyone looked outside their house seeing Free returning from the nobility party.

"Look, chief is back without a scratch" one lady muttered to her husband.

"But who's that girl with red hair that is blabbing" another asked, staring at Iris and Free sighed feeling everyone's stare.

As the carriage passed by the half build parl, Iris's eye turn to it, the slide, sandbox, and other things were beautiful even at night.

"W-what's that!?!?" she yelled, staring outside the window to look at the half build park. "Big sis, what is that!?!?" she asked Sylvia.

"That's a park, Free was the one that decided to make it" she replied glancing at Free, who stared at the park too.

"This guy made that!!!" Iris yelled, her gaze turning to Free. "Okay, i acknowledge you....only this time" she said.

"That's enough for me" Free replied, staring forward seeing his house, lights outside the house shining throught the mana core.

The carriage stopped infront of the garden and Free got down. He crack his knuckles and flex his hand, the journey was long and very, very brain cooking too. He takes out the suitcases from the carriage and enter in the house as Iris followed behind with Sylvia.

"I'm home!" Free yelled, but no response came, he went inside the living room and no ome was there, dropping the things he walk to the kitchen only to see unwashed plates. "Where is everyone?" he thought, searching the entire house.

"Look like they aren't home?" Sylvia said, coming out from Lina's room, Free nodded and walk outside the house.

"What's the matter?" sean asked, seeing Free's worried face.

"No one is home" he said, closing the door and walking up to sean.

"Let's go and ask someone around here".

Meanwhile on the ramen stall, Lina, Hina and everyone were slurping Ramen as always the chef just sighed handing Hina another bowl of Ramen.

"You will get sick if this keep on going" the elder chef said, pinching the bridge of his nose, tired of them.

"Nah, we'll be fine" Hinata said, gulping the soup. "Another please".

"Yeah sure" someone from behind said, Lina froze, so did everyone. The chef already saw who was behind and escaped, Hinata turned her head and Free was standing behind them, his face dark from anger.

"B-b-br-brother, i-i- it's not w-what you t-think it is" Elina tried to explain but Free shut her up with his glare. Everyone there felt a chill running down their spine, Sylvia was outside the stall, hand on her head and a dissapointed sigh escaping her mouth.

"Elina, go to Sylvia, i don't want to scold you" Free said, Elina ran outside the stall, and hid behind Sylvia leaving only the three of them. "So, how many did you feast tonight?" he ask, Lina trying to answer but her words stuck to her throat.

"Thirty nine" the elder chef said, holding a list of bowl they finished and it was for only tonught. "This is only today, if we include from yesterday and more, it will be more than hundred bowls" the chef finished, and left. The silence was loud as Free's face turn red from anger.

"IS YOUR STOMACH A WELL!!!!!" Free yelled, his voice echoed through half of the village, Iris closed her ears and Elina was relieved she didn't ate too much, while sean and tye driver on the public section ordered one bowl for themselves, shutting their ears with cotton.

The scolding went on for more than 5 hours that night, and for the three, Free just banned them for a week from eating ramen, he was thinking of a month but in the end, a brother is a brother no matter in what consequences.
