Chapter 206 - Chapter 206: Rukia Appears! Ichigo's Warmest Shinigami Companion Helps!

In the chat group, the conversation continued to flow with deep concern for Ichigo's seemingly hopeless situation.

[Keigo Asano]: Kurosaki must be more desperate now than he was when facing Aizen! At least then he knew who his enemies were!

[Tōshirō Hitsugaya]: Kurosaki Ichigo really seems to have no options left. Can he only watch as these enemies completely defeat him?

[Rangiku Matsumoto]: Is there truly no other way to help him? This is genuinely painful to witness.

[Yoruichi Shihōin]: At this critical moment, is there really no one else who can come to his aid? The situation seems completely hopeless.

[Gin Ichimaru]: I refuse to believe it! Kurosaki Ichigo will definitely find a way to reverse all of this. After all, he is Kurosaki Ichigo—nothing has ever been able to stop him for long.

[Byakuya Kuchiki]: His resilience has been legendary, but even the strongest spirit can be broken under sufficient psychological pressure.

[Jūshirō Ukitake]: The young man who has saved us so many times... surely there must be some way to save him in return.

Meanwhile, in the depths of Hueco Mundo, Aizen observed the proceedings with a mixture of analytical interest and genuine concern for his carefully cultivated "masterpiece."

"Although Kurosaki Ichigo has fallen into self-doubt once again and appears thoroughly defeated, I find myself understanding his predicament," Aizen mused to himself. "His obsession with protecting his friends has always been both his greatest strength and his most exploitable weakness."

"It's precisely because friendship means everything to Kurosaki Ichigo that he fights so desperately when driven by the desire to protect others," Aizen continued his analysis. "Conversely, when those friendships are corrupted or lost, his despair becomes equally profound. It's a perfectly logical emotional response."

Aizen's evaluation of Ichigo's character was indeed remarkably accurate. This duality was fundamental to who Ichigo was as a person—his capacity for both incredible heroism and devastating vulnerability stemmed from the same source.

"So while Kurosaki Ichigo's upper limit for power and determination may be exceptionally high, his lower limit when faced with personal loss can be catastrophically low," Aizen observed with clinical precision.

"If his emotional foundations are sufficiently damaged, Kurosaki Ichigo could easily fall into complete darkness at any moment. The same passion that drives his heroism could fuel an equally intense descent into despair or even villainy."

"I'm genuinely curious to see how he might reverse this situation," Aizen admitted, a note of anticipation entering his voice. "The methods available to him in this circumstance are quite limited."

This was, after all, his carefully nurtured "son"—his greatest success in creating a being capable of transcending normal limits. Seeing Ichigo defeated by such relatively minor enemies was genuinely frustrating for someone who had invested so much effort in his development.

He absolutely cannot be defeated by opponents of this caliber, Aizen thought with growing irritation. Such a failure would be utterly intolerable.

The audience shared Aizen's curiosity about how Ichigo might possibly escape from his current predicament. The situation appeared genuinely hopeless—every potential ally had been turned against him or revealed as an enemy, his power had been systematically stolen, and his psychological state had been shattered beyond apparent repair.

Perhaps the only possibility for salvation lay with those who remained outside the reach of his enemies' manipulation: his true friends from Soul Society.

And indeed, as if the universe itself had heard the desperate hopes of countless observers, the tide of battle was about to change dramatically.

[Just as Ginjō and Tsukishima prepared to deliver the final blow to the broken young man kneeling in the rain, a new presence made itself known.]

[From behind Ichigo came the sound of footsteps—deliberate, confident, and unmistakably familiar.]

SHING!

[A blade pierced through Ichigo's back with surgical precision, but this was no enemy's attack.]

[Ichigo's eyes widened as he felt an overwhelming surge of familiar spiritual pressure flooding through his body—power that he recognized instantly despite the months that had passed since he last felt its touch.]

["You look terrible, Ichigo," came a voice that carried warmth, affection, and just a hint of the old familiar teasing. "Did you really think we'd let you handle this alone?"]

[Ichigo turned slowly, hardly daring to believe what his senses were telling him, and found himself face-to-face with the person who had started his entire journey as a Shinigami.]

[Rukia Kuchiki stood behind him, her zanpakutō still embedded in his back, but her expression was one of gentle smile mixed with fond exasperation.]

["Rukia..." Ichigo whispered, his voice cracking with emotion as he saw her familiar face—unchanged, uncorrupted, genuinely concerned for his wellbeing. "You're really here. You're really you."]

["Of course I'm me, you idiot," Rukia replied with her characteristic blend of affection and mild insult. "Did you think a few memory-manipulating humans could affect a Shinigami from Soul Society? We're completely outside their sphere of influence."]

[As Rukia's blade continued to channel spiritual energy into his body, Ichigo felt something he had almost forgotten: hope.]

["This zanpakutō," Rukia explained as power continued to flow between them, "has been specially modified by Urahara Kisuke to serve as a conduit for spiritual energy donation. Every Shinigami in Soul Society has contributed a portion of their power to this effort."]

["Captain Yamamoto, Captain Ukitake, Captain Kyōraku, your friend Renji, even my brother Byakuya—all of them insisted on participating," she continued. "This blade contains the combined spiritual pressure of the entire Gotei 13."]

[Ichigo felt tears mixing with the rain on his face, but for the first time in what felt like an eternity, they were tears of relief rather than despair.]

["Everyone... really?" he asked, hardly able to process the magnitude of what she was telling him.]

["You've saved Soul Society more times than we can count," Rukia said simply. "Did you think we'd abandon you when you needed us most? We're your friends, Ichigo. Real friends. And real friends don't get fooled by cheap tricks and stolen memories."]

[As the power transfer reached completion, Ichigo felt his Shinigami abilities returning in full force—not just restored, but enhanced by the collective will and power of everyone who believed in him.]

[The transformation was immediate and dramatic. The broken, defeated young man kneeling in the rain was replaced by someone radiating confidence, power, and renewed purpose.]

[His spiritual pressure erupted skyward like a pillar of light, dispersing the storm clouds and illuminating the night with brilliant spiritual energy.]

["Now then," Ichigo said as he rose to his feet, his voice carrying a note of controlled fury that made both Ginjō and Tsukishima take involuntary steps backward, "shall we settle this properly?"]

The chat exploded with jubilation and relief as Soul Society's cavalry finally arrived:

[Tōshirō Hitsugaya]: Finally! Our turn to help Kurosaki Ichigo for once! He's always been the one saving us—it's about time we returned the favor!

[Ikkaku Madarame]: We really do owe him far too many favors. It feels good to finally be able to help him instead of always being the ones who need rescuing!

[Rukia Kuchiki]: I've always been on the receiving end of his protection. If we can't help him when he needs us most, then what kind of friends would we be?

[Keigo Asano]: That's right! With the combined power of so many Shinigami behind him, these small-time villains don't stand a chance!

[Rangiku Matsumoto]: Compared to enemies like the Quincy and Aizen, these guys are at most a minor inconvenience. It's almost insulting that they thought they could permanently defeat someone like Ichigo!

[Yumichika Ayasegawa]: Come on, Kurosaki Ichigo! Show us that heroic figure who fights to protect his friends once again!

The Shinigami of Soul Society were absolutely ecstatic to finally be able to support their most trusted ally. They understood that this crisis was actually an important part of Ichigo's growth process—allowing him to experience loss and despair would ultimately make him stronger and more resilient when facing the truly dangerous enemies that awaited in the future.

It was a painful but necessary trial that couldn't be skipped or avoided. The experience would forge him into someone capable of facing cosmic-level threats with unshakeable resolve.

Even Aizen felt compelled to offer encouragement:

[Sōsuke Aizen]: Yes, Kurosaki Ichigo! Stand up and reclaim your strength! If you were to fall to opponents of this caliber, I wouldn't be able to tolerate the disappointment!

[Sōsuke Aizen]: You absolutely cannot let me down—I've invested countless efforts into cultivating you to reach your current level of power!

[Sōsuke Aizen]: So you definitely cannot allow them to defeat you, or I'll have to come to you myself just to personally teach you a lesson about resilience!

Aizen's words were indeed sincere expressions of his investment in Ichigo's development. As his greatest "creation," Ichigo simply could not be allowed to fail against such relatively minor opposition.

[As the spiritual energy continued to surge through his body, Ichigo looked around at the scene of destruction and betrayal that had nearly broken him completely.]

[But now, with the warmth of genuine friendship flowing through Rukia's blade and the knowledge that his true allies had never abandoned him, everything looked different.]

[Ginjō and Tsukishima were no longer insurmountable enemies—they were obstacles to be overcome.]

[His friends' altered memories were no longer permanent disasters—they were problems to be solved.]

[And his own despair was no longer a weakness—it was fuel for the righteous anger that would drive him to victory.]

["Thank you, Rukia," Ichigo said quietly, his voice carrying a depth of gratitude that words could barely express. "Thank you for reminding me what real friendship looks like."]

["Don't thank me yet," Rukia replied with a fierce smile. "Save your gratitude for after you've beaten these pretenders senseless. Show them the difference between stolen bonds and genuine connections."]

["With pleasure," Ichigo responded, his spiritual pressure continuing to climb as he prepared to demonstrate exactly why he was considered Soul Society's greatest protector.]

[The rain had stopped, the clouds had cleared, and for the first time since this nightmare began, Ichigo Kurosaki was ready to be the hero his friends believed him to be.]

The stage was set for a confrontation that would prove once and for all that true strength comes not from stolen power or manipulated memories, but from the unbreakable bonds forged through genuine care, sacrifice, and mutual respect.

Ichigo had fallen as far as it was possible to fall, but now—with the support of those who truly knew and valued him—he was ready to rise higher than ever before.
