"Who the hell are these guys?"
Kazama was fuming, his blood boiling as he saw a group of pot-bellied ninja shamelessly squatting in the houses he'd built.
"Kazama-sama, here's the deal…"
Seeing Kazama's anger, Orochimaru quickly pulled him aside.
"Didn't you instruct me to set up a ninja academy in Otogakure, modeled after Konoha's?"
"Yeah, and what's that got to do with these clowns?"
"Well, these guys are ninja instructors we hired from some smaller nations. You know Otogakure's just getting started, and we're swamped. Me, Zabuza, Kimimaro, Haku—we're all tied up with other duties, so we couldn't teach. That's why we paid a premium to bring them in."
Kazama shot a glance at the smug, overweight ninja. "They're clearly here to mooch off Otogakure. You seriously didn't notice?"
"They may not be the strongest ninja, but they've got a solid grasp of basic ninjutsu—Fūton, Katon, Suiton, Raiton, Doton, you name it. That's why they're a bit cocky. But if we kick them out, who's gonna teach the students at the academy?"
"Don't worry, I've got a plan. Tell these guys to get lost—now!"
"Yes, sir!"
Orochimaru never dared disobey Kazama's orders. He immediately went to inform the ninja instructors of their dismissal.
But these pot-bellied ninja, despite their lackluster skills, had tempers bigger than their bellies. The moment Orochimaru told them to pack up and leave, they lost it.
"What the hell?! We're renowned ninja instructors! We've trained thousands of students—eight thousand at least! You dare look down on us?!"
"If Otogakure hadn't begged us to come, we wouldn't even be here! Every single one of our students could reach Kage-level strength, and you've got the nerve to tell us to leave? Eat shit!"
Kazama had initially thought these instructors might have some redeeming qualities. But hearing them curse and brag about training Kage-level students? He knew right away they were all talk and no substance.
With a cold smirk, Kazama stepped up to the group.
"Let me make this clear: if you're here to sincerely join Otogakure and contribute, you're welcome. But if you're just here to leech off us, I won't allow it!"
"Who the hell do you think you are, talking like that?!"
"You're just a snot-nosed brat! What gives you the right to talk to us like that?!"
"What did you just say?!"
The moment these ninja dared insult Kazama, Orochimaru, Kimimaro, Zabuza, and Haku exploded with rage. If Kazama hadn't stopped them, those instructors would've been dead on the spot.
"What are you doing?! You lay a hand on us, and good luck finding anyone else to teach at your pathetic academy!"
"Yeah, without instructors, how are your students gonna learn ninjutsu?"
"Hmph! You think we can't run a ninja academy without you so-called instructors?" Kazama shot back.
"Bullshit!"
The ninja kept hurling insults at Kazama.
"No instructors, no teaching! What's your academy gonna do then, huh?!"
"I don't need instructors. I've got something that can replace you all!"
With that, Kazama used Doton (Earth Release) to construct eight towering structures.
Into each, he infused a different type of unique flame: Fūryū En (Wind Dragon Flame), Kazanseki En (Volcanic Stone Flame), Kayun Sui En (Fire Cloud Water Flame), Kuryū Raigō (Nine Dragons Thunder Flame), Ka Genkō En (Fire Mysterious Yellow Flame), Banjū Reika (Ten Thousand Beasts Spirit Flame), Yōin Sōen (Yin-Yang Dual Flame), and Yūmei Dokuka (Nether Poison Flame).
