"Where are your parents, little one?" Hui Shi asked the boy gently, after hearing his words. Lain and Annette on the other hand were deeply shocked by his words. They had never seen this boy before, and didn't notice that he was even following them until now. Even Mon Dupa, was contemplating his past in confusion, hoping he might remember seeing the child before him, when he was back at the gates.
Yet, after seconds of recollection, he realized in shock that the boy truly was a mystery. He had truly never noticed his presence until just now.
Bia Dupa on the other hand couldn't help but think to herself in mockery, 'The god of gods? Who told this child to call himself the god of gods? He's so cute and interesting.'
Daisy, after seeing that Bia Dupa was fine, completely ignored the boy's words, and quickly tried to check the system logs of the runedroid next to her to make sure it was telling the truth earlier. She couldn't believe the boy truly just appeared out of thin air.
So as the others were paying attention to the boy's words she tapped on David's chest rhythmically for a couple of seconds before a holographic system log screen popped up in front of her. She then checked it carefully for the next few minutes.
After checking the system log of the runedroid multiple times, she shockingly ended up concluding that the boy truly did appear out of thin air earlier. It wasn't an illusion, or a system error.
"I can't go where my parents are. I was thrown into a world of evil creatures by my father when I was younger. He told me he wanted me to die, but no matter how many times he killed me, I always came back to life, so he could only resort to locking me away in a cavern that he created specifically for me.
I was in that cavern for a very very long time, until I met a man that called himself Emperor Vilker. The man felt pity for me, and after countless years of effort gave up his life in order to help me escape from the cavern that my father locked me within.
After I was pushed out of the cavern by the powers of that man, I ended up somewhere close to this city, and wandered around it until recently when I saw you guys at the front of the gates." After taking a minute to gather his thoughts, the little boy answered Hui Shi, without the slightest feeling of sadness in his childish voice, as if he was just telling a story.
