Hearing his words cause Hui Shi to ponder in thought for a couple of minutes, as if he was trying to determine whether the child was telling the truth before he asked him further questions.
"Why would your father do that, child?" Annette asked the child while looking around, hoping she would see his parents somewhere within the vicinity. She couldn't really believe the words of such a young child, even though his sudden appearance was truly mysterious.
Mon Dupa, Lain and Daisy, on the other hand decided to accept his sorrowful answer, even though they truly didn't believe such a young and mystical child would be abandoned and treated so badly by his parents.
'Emperor Vilker…it couldn't be the same Emperor Vilker that disappeared billions upon billions of years ago right? It couldn't be the god, no, the devil that created the Vilker Empire that once ruled our entire realm in the past right?' Bia Dupa thought to herself in confusion and interest after hearing his words. She couldn't believe the same emperor who she was taught mysteriously disappeared years ago was this boy's savior. Too many years have passed since the emperor's disappearance, and the child before her looked to only be a few years old.
"My mother told me that my father was jealous of my beauty. She put this mask on me to protect me from him, but the mask didn't work. My father still hated me, and bullied me for being more beautiful than him. My father is a very scary, and ugly man that everyone was afraid of, my mom told me, so she was unable to save me from him." The little boy said, slowly with his left hand on his chin, as if he was thinking about the past.
"Is that so, child? Sorry for butting in. My name is Antwon Mersie. Is this child telling the truth? Or are you guys rehearsing a story with him?" A man's voice resounded, drawing everyone's attention to a rectangular carriage that hovered high above the ground, in front of Mon Dupa's carriage.
The rectangular carriage that was floating silently in the air above the group was greyish black in color, and had light blue rectangular glowing runes engraved at its bottom, that seemed to power its levitation. Unlike a normal carriage, this carriage did not have any beasts pulling it.
At its side, a door was open. Within that door, a man could be seen looking down at the group, and he was looking down at them with a baffled look. He had just arrived, and was already hearing a story he never would've believed would come from the mouth of such a young child.
The baffled man had on navy blue jeans, and a plain light blue, short sleeved shirt. He was about 4 feet tall, had an angular, oval face, with clear blue eyes, that could take anyone's breath away. Although the man wasn't good looking, he couldn't be considered ugly either.
