Chapter 24 – Loki Escapes
Even though all of humanity was still struggling to process the fusion of two universes, life had to go on.
In about a week, thanks to the combined efforts of Blake, the Super Heroes, and law enforcement agencies across the world, human society slowly managed to restore a sense of order.
Now, the White House was home to two Presidents of the United States.
Of course, similar phenomena were happening in many other countries as well.
But Blake no longer cared about how those two presidents were supposed to divide power.
Right now, he only wanted one thing—
A good, deep sleep.
For an entire week, he had been controlling more than thirteen hundred clones of himself—every single one of them a Superman-tier magical variant—constantly flying through Earth's atmosphere without rest.
Not only did he have to continuously cast different types of magic, he also had to monitor the entire world through the Infinity Perception System.
That kind of workload…
If it weren't for Blake's young and perfectly conditioned body, he would have been completely drained to the bone.
After sleeping for a full day and night, Blake finally got up, feeling refreshed and back in peak condition.
Only then did he realize something else.
He was starving.
Rubbing his growling stomach, Blake decided not to cook.
Down in Tony Stark's underground garage, he randomly picked one of the luxury cars.
Then he drove straight toward the busiest district in New York.
Tony wasn't home at the time. The world had just gone through a monumental change. As one of the most famous superheroes and the world's top scientist, Tony was naturally swamped, investigating the root cause of everything that had happened.

Because the scale of the world map had expanded so drastically, a drive that normally took twenty minutes now took Blake twice as long.
As he drove, he looked at the scenery on both sides of the road—people from two different universes living side by side in quiet peace.
His thoughts began to drift.
A wider world and a more spread-out population did create all kinds of mobility problems.
But in the long run…
Wasn't this actually a good thing?
Not only would it create a more comfortable living environment, but natural resources had also become far more abundant.
It was almost certain that in the coming years—maybe even decades—global technological progress would skyrocket thanks to the integration of the two universes.
— — —
When he arrived, Blake deliberately chose a Western-style restaurant that originally came from the DC Universe.
Only after devouring twenty full signature set meals did he finally head home, completely satisfied.
"Looks like the world didn't actually get worse because of me…" Blake muttered to himself.
For the first time, he felt the heavy weight that had been pressing on his mind finally lift.

Forty minutes later, when Blake returned home, he found Tony already sitting on the sofa with a deeply serious expression, as if he had been waiting for him.
"Blake, I know this sounds hard to believe, but… the fact that Earth's population suddenly increased by billions, and the entire universe expanded—was that your doing?"
"Military satellite footage shows that the mysterious black vortex started from our location…"
"But because the power you've been showing lately is so far beyond human understanding, the U.S. government chose to stay silent. They don't dare question you. They don't dare blame you."
Blake nodded. He poured a glass of vodka for each of them, then calmly explained the full origin of the massive event.
Tony fell silent for a long time.
Then he grabbed his glass, downed the vodka in one gulp, and spoke with a tense face.
"The power you have… it's too overwhelming. It's far beyond anything I can even begin to understand. And power on that level, without any form of supervision… is a disaster."
"I'm not just talking about you, Blake. I think all extraordinary power needs limits."
"Just look at what happened this time. Maybe you didn't mean to hurt anyone. But compared to you, all of us—humanity, this entire Earth—we're no different from ants standing in front of a giant."
"Even a small, accidental action from you could become a world-ending catastrophe for us."
"Last night, the United Nations Security Council made a decision. All super-powered individuals who appear on Earth must be officially registered. They'll be jointly supervised by S.H.I.E.L.D. and S.W.O.R.D., and they'll be strictly forbidden from using supernatural abilities illegally."
"Blake… leave this planet. At least for a while."
"I know the laws and systems here might not mean anything to you. But those systems are what protect the rights of ordinary people."
"And you… you exist outside all of that."
"Your power… has made the entire world afraid."
"Blake, as a friend… can I ask you to step away from this planet?"
— — —
Blake patted Tony's shoulder, smiling softly as he nodded.
He understood how Tony felt.
After all, in the cinematic universe, Tony had gone through a similar conflict with Captain America.
Tony believed that all extraordinary power needed to be monitored and controlled by the government. It couldn't be used freely.
Meanwhile, Captain America—like the idealized heroes admired by the public—refused to submit to government systems and fought for his own heroic ideals.

To be honest, even without Tony asking, Blake had already planned to leave Earth.
Of course…
If he wanted to come back, then he would come back.
The reason was simple.
Loki had escaped—with the Space Stone.
When the two universes merged, Loki had still been on Earth. But after witnessing the terrifying power Blake displayed, he fled in fear.
And because Loki ran, the Chitauri army couldn't enter Earth.
Without their invasion, the Battle of New York would never happen.
But thinking about it now…
With the level of super-powered beings currently on Earth, even if the Chitauri did come, Superman alone would be more than enough to wipe them out.
Yeah…
If you really thought about it, Superman himself was also a being whose existence went beyond human logic.
But at the very least, Superman still had a weakness.
Kryptonite.
And Tony, always overflowing with confidence, had never considered Superman an unbeatable existence.
But when it came to Blake…
That was the first time Tony had truly felt fear.
That was why he asked Blake to leave.
Tony genuinely didn't want to experience something like that again.
Just imagine it—
Falling asleep one night, and when you wake up, Earth is gone.
Everyone you know—your family, your friends, the person you love…
Even yourself.
All erased.
Who could possibly accept a reality like that?
— — —
Before truly leaving Earth, Blake still asked Tony for one last favor.
Please… take care of Spider-Man.
Besides that, Blake secretly took a genetic enhancement serum from the HYDRA organization.
And he injected it into Ben Parker's body—without anyone knowing.
Yeah…
Because, as the saying goes—
With great power, comes great responsibility.
